Outstanding hospitality! The Bungalow was idyllic- comfortable, clean and well-stocked! We weren’t able to take advantage of all the Drinking Horse Ranch had to offer this time around- but looking forward to coming back. A real treat!

We are Bobcat parents and often make the drive from Boise to Bozeman. I wanted a stay more comfortable than a hotel room for parent’s weekend and this property was a dream. Cabin was perfect- cozy during the snow storm, clean, beautifully stocked, spacious and comfortable- but waking up to horses out the window is something no hotel can deliver. Owners are wonderful, Lilly the dog was the sweetest, treats in the fridge included fresh eggs and brownies upon arrival set the bar high for my 12 years old. Views were spectacular, close to campus without town’s chaos. This will be our go-to when coming to town.

We had a wonderful time at Drinking Horse Ranch, highly recommend. Pete and Angie are the most wonderful hosts! Very clean, comfortable, peaceful and close to town. Pete’s tour of the ranch will give you marvelous views. We look forward to staying there again.

Angie and Pete were amazing, communicated well, and were very attentive. The ranch was gorgeous and peaceful. We woke up to horses outside our window each morning. It was amazing to fish and walk along the creek, check out the chickens (fresh eggs whenever we wanted), and have Lilly the dog greet us each morning. The M Trail and Drinking Horse Trail are just around the bend about 3 minutes away. We have a student at MSU that we were visiting. The ranch is only 15-18 minutes from campus and maybe 10 minutes to downtown. We had stayed in hotels on previous trip. We wish we would have found Drinking Horse Ranch sooner. We plan on staying there again in a couple months!

Weekend in the Bridgers

Great place, very kind hosts, even left some Prosecco in the fridge when they learned we were getting married. There's also a great hike around the property!

Peaceful Getaway

The cabin location was only 5-10 minutes outside of town but extremely peaceful! The hosts were the most accommodating of all of our Vrbo stays. The cabin was extremely clean and stocked with all necessities! Can’t wait to bring the whole family and stay with them again!

A total treat

Just what we needed to have our own space while visiting family. And in a beautiful location, with exceptional care from the hosts. Our daughter LOVED visiting the horses and chickens and Angie even gave us carrots to feed the horses, which was great fun. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway location!

Absolute gorgeous property and location! It could not have been more perfect for our stay in Bozeman. Owners are super friendly and helpful and clearly love the area. Our stay at Pete and Angie's cabin was nothing short of amazing! Great location, the peace of being out of town but very easy short drive to Bozeman. Beautiful, well kept property! The cabin was very comfortable for our family's stay. Pete and Angie were great hosts, going above and beyond! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bozeman!

I did not get a chance to stay at the lodge, but I am happy to right a review based on what I heard from my family. They had a wonderful time! I heard a lot about the great pancake mix and beautiful views from my husband and the friendly horses and abundant bird watching on the property from my dad - truly something for everyone! Thanks for providing such a nice home-base for their stay while they got our son settled in college.

Drinking horse ranch

We had a wonderful time staying at Pete and Angie's cabin! The property is beautiful and they made us feel like welcomed guests. The location is ideal for easy access to Bozeman as well as Bridger mountain. There are multiple hiking trails on their property where you can enjoy the beauty of the ranch. We would definitely choose to stay here again on another trip to Montana!

Perfect Western Hospitality

The cabin is very nice. Stylish and in a perfect spot relative to Bozeman and Bridger Bowl. My only complaint and it is small, is that the listing says there is a hot tub, but it no longer exists. Overall 5 star.

Steve and his group were great guests and we would be happy to host again. This cabin listing does NOT show that it has a hot tub and it is listed as a two bedroom, one bathroom so the maximum of 4 people can make it very cozy when it comes to sharing one bathroom. The bedrooms have two queen beds in each. We do have another property on our ranch that has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. This property DOES have a hot tub. If Steve and his group return for another Montana visit, I would suggest staying at our other listing, the Creekside Bungalow.

Peaceful & Perfect!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was peaceful with lots of walking trails and a creek steps away from the cabin. It was a perfect location for us to see other parts of Montana. The owners are wonderful, very hospitable and available, made check in & out a breeze. The cabin was great and inviting, thanks to Angie’s thoughtfulness and personal touches. Highly recommend and we definitely plan to return!
