Great place to stay! So incredibly close to the beach and comfortable. It was fun to watch the surfers in the morning from the third floor bedroom. Steve is a fantastic host and the house was well stocked upon our arrival. It was a great stay!

Perfect location one block off the best beach. House even more well appointed than expected with loads of beach towels, bunch of spices, all the dishes and cookware you could want, nice linens and beds very comfortable also plenty of shelf and drawer space in the bathrooms and hooks everywhere for hanging damp towels and suits. House is really livable and Steve was a great host who obviously takes pride in the space and in Higgins beach community. We will definitely stay there again!

Overall the property was as described and was a short walk to the beach! The house had not been cleaned well before we arrived but was not the worst. The other downfall was it sits back in between 2 other houses so the views are only from the very top floor.

This spacious renovated bright beach house was perfect for our family wedding weekend. Unlike most rental cottages in Higgins Beach, this home comes fully stocked with linens, towels, toiletries and kitchen staples…super helpful for non-locals. Host Stephen was very friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful in every way

We were blown away by how clean and welcoming the rental was. Flowers, tons of linens and towels, there were cleaning products, toilet paper and paper towels. It made settling in super easy. Thank you for a great stay! Loved that we were a few steps from the beach stairs and appreciated that there were even beach chairs available to use. Thank you!

Great family beach retreat

This has been one of the nicest places we have stayed. It was less than a minute from a beautiful sandy beach with gorgeous sunsets. The rooms provide great views of the ocean . The host thought of everything, even down to having a lint roller. The house was clean and comfortable. It had a great location to Portland and points beyond, we would highly recommend this house and I feel we will be renting it again.

A wonderful location near the beach

The house is bright, clean, updated, comfortable, and fully stocked with kitchenware and very nice sheets and towels. It was easy to load up our beach stuff and walk a short distance to Higgins Beach. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a great week there.

Higgins Beach House

Great house and location, just off the beach. Very clean and well appointed. Plenty of beds and comfortable sleeping rooms. Two areas to socialize so adults and kids can have separate spaces. Outside shower was great for the surfers. Backyard space was big enough for two picnic tables. Everything else you need like Grill, boogie boards, beach chairs and mats. Parking for 3-4 cars.

Perfect place for a big family!

This property is so bright, airy, and spacious. We had 7 family members there and we had plenty of room! There’s a 2nd sitting area on the 3rd floor with a view of the ocean - great for cocktails, morning coffee, or a break from others! The owner, Steve, couldn’t be more responsive. My family has stayed here for a number of years and we absolutely love it.
