Excellent family vacation
We truly enjoyed staying at this beautiful villa! We were very excited to be back on St. John. The villa had everything we could possibly need for a perfect relaxing week!
Wanna Get Away
Great property in exclusive neighborhood with a view you definitely can't get at home. Everything was first class. Thanks Jack
Great Family Vacation
Kaleidoscope Villa was everything we were promised, and more. Snorkeling was great at several locations around St. John, including two very close. Snorkel equipment was provided, all facilities worked well. This is a very high end property in a scenic location, secured by area and property gates. We had a wonderful time.
I’m reluctant to say how much we enjoyed Kaleidiscope for fear that it will just make it harder to rent again in the future.. but the owner, Jack, seems like a great guy.. so I have to be honest. I believe we’ve stayed in what may be the four nicest houses that are available on St John and for my family this was our favorite (OK, there’s one other house in this league and there are amazing things about them both but, yes, this would be our #1). Everything was excellent and Jack took a personal interest in making sure everything was just right. Highly recommend!
The Kaleidoscope Villa is absolutely amazing. The location is very convenient to Cruz Bay. The views are unparalleled. The 4 bedrooms are very private, each with their own bathrooms and the main house is perfect for gathering and eating together. The pool area is great for swimming or lounging in the sun and star gazing at night. There is everything you could possibly need or want as an amenity (i.e.: beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, snorkel gear, board games, ice maker, all kitchen necessities, etc.). We have stayed here many times dating back to 2011. The Kaleidoscope is meticulously maintained and looks the same as it did on our very first visit when it was brand new. The island of St John is hard at work making a comeback. Cruz Bay is mostly up and running with a few exceptions such as Warfside Village, which is currently under construction and looks like it will be more beautiful than ever. We were impressed with the amount of progress considering it has only been 5 months since the hurricanes of September 2017. It just goes to show how passionate people are about this paradise. It is more than just an island, it is a feeling you get when you are there. The beaches were actually larger and water is still crystal clear blue. Most restaurants were open, Morgan's Mango opened while we were there. All food and service was great. We were happy to be there to support tourism and were lucky enough to stay at this amazing villa.
