Listen to the waves at night from your bed!
This home is located in Eastward Look - North, a well maintained community, The home has an open floor plan, with ceiling fans in the cathedral living room. Clean and tastefully decorated. There is wifi and cable tv in the living room.
There is a large deck, with lounge chairs, grill and patio set. The deck leads to the roomy hot/cold enclosed outdoor shower!
The community has a great playground with swings, jungle gym, 6 tennis courts, full basketball court and lots of open space. The home is only 3 blocks to the private-end of Scarborough Beach (north)- where there is absolutely NO FEE, nor passes required for this quiet beach. A 2-5min drive to state beaches and town beach.
Just bring your sheets and towels! Linen rental available upon request, please inquire.

Very nice house

5 bedrooms all with good window air conditioners. Spacious dining room and tv area. Great back deck with outdoor shower. 10 minute walk to beach. it didn’t hurt that we had fabulous weather all week!

GREAT time!

The layout of the house was perfect! Open and airy common rooms/deck, plenty of space. Awesome way to celebrate turning 40 surrounded by family that are friends and friends that are family!

Nice house with alot of conveniences

My family and I had a great stay at this home. It was clean and well appointed. We have only 2 suggestions for the property; it was a hot and humid week so ACs would have been nice at least in the bedrooms and a reminder before our stay that linens are not provided because people don't always go back and read the listing..thanks for opening your home to our family!

Vacation 2023

We had a fabulous time in Narragansett! The house was perfect for us and our adult children and grandchildren! The yard was the perfect size for playing, the outdoor shower was awesome, and the open concept downstairs floor plan allowed us to be together while meals were being prepared. Loved our time in Narragansett!

Relaxation

My brother and his family joined us for a full week. The 9 of us were comfortable and enjoyed the openness of the living space and the large deck. Beach was close enough to walk and drive to to drop off all of our beach gear. This is our 2nd year in this home and would recommend as a great home for families.

Summer retreat

Property was clean, and comfortable. Access to the beach was easy, the walk was further than we would have liked but not bad.

Narragansett Beach House

Had a very nice week at this beach house. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach, and there was a playground right around the corner. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The refrigerator could use some fixing (freezer pops open when closing the door to the refrigerator), and the floors turned out to be not as clean as they looked (they were swept, but could use a good washing). Other than that, everything was very nice. Would stay here again.

Much needed relaxation

We had a wonderful time on our Narragansett vacation. The rental was clean, as described and very accommodating. The renter was available for questions throughout the whole process. We would definitely stay again.

Great house! Rainy week didn't matter.

Our family of 9 truly enjoyed this beautiful home. The weather was not the best but it didn't put a damper on our week. We spent a lot of time indoors with plenty of space for all of us to make memories in the open concept living and dining area. Rebecca the owner was very responsive and attentive. Would absolutely stay here again!

Walkable to Scarsborough Beach

The house was a nice fit for our group and we appreciated the array of dishes and spices in the kitchen and layout of the family room. The main concern we had with the house was that it smelt very musty. This was especially bad on the first day (the windows were almost all open and it was raining outside), but it persisted the entire week. Communication from the owner was very prompt and polite and I really appreciate that. I would be happy to rent from Rebecca again, but probably not at this location. The proximity to the beach was nice (10 minute walk) and the house had beach chairs and a wagon that made it easy to get down to the beach.

Everything was great! They had more for the beach than expected! So many chairs and toys, a wagon. Outdoor shower, kitchen had everything you needed.

Great beach week!

Great location. Accommodating host. Enjoyed the outdoor shower and the deck, along with the wildlife in the backyard (bunnies, groundhog, and a bird family in a hole in the wall). Had a few issues with some things in the house (very clogged vacuum cleaner spitting out more than it was cleaning up and a bad switch in the kitchen that left us with poor lighting). These problems were quickly addressed by the owner who sent us a new vacuum cleaner and an electrician to install a new switch. Thanks Rebecca! Very nice neighborhood , safe for kids for walking and bike riding. Had a very enjoyable week.

Week at the Beach

We would definitely rent this property again. It was clean and well maintained and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The kids loved being able to ride their bikes around the neighborhood and having the beach so close made it easy for us to take advantage or the beautiful weather we had all week!

Great vacation home!

This is a spacious comfortable and kid friendly house. We enjoyed our stay in Narragansett it was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. We may be back next year!!

This will be our 3rd summer!

We are looking forward to our 3rd summer in a row at your house. We feel so comfortable in the house. We appreciate how the bedrooms are in seperate areas which works out having our in laws with us and letting the little ones nap. The size of the living room is so welcoming! Just a quick walk to the beach, thank you for leaving beach chairs. The kitchen is fully stocked, but we mostly use the grill anyway The outdoor shower is perfect and so clean. But my wife's favorite part is falling asleep to the sound of the waves. looking forward to getting back!

Very Relaxing!

I have never rented in Narragansett so this was something very new to me and my family. What did we do? Absolutely nothing but relax on the beach every day and cook in every night. I heard about some great restaurants in the area but we had brough so much food that we just ate in every night. Plus with being at the beach all day it was nice to come back to the house and hang out on the back deck. The house was able to accommodate the 9 of us that rented it out plus a few guests along the week. Plenty of room for everybody and a wonderful open floor plan. The back deck was a joy to sit on and relax, the outdoor shower was a huge hit. I don't think anybody showered inside all week. The house was very clean with only a few things that need to be fixed but aren't really a big deal (i.e. curtain rods/refrigerator shelves). The location of the house is great. We just packed up the truck, drove down to beach, dropped everybody off, drove back home, hopped on the bike, pedaled down and when we were done somebody would bike back, get the truck and pick everybody up. With small children the walk was too much especially with carrying chairs/coolers etc.

Our family is from northern Rhode Island. My Mom and Dad own the house, and I, Rebecca, manage it for them.
I have 2 children who are growing up in the house each summer! We try to leave amenities for families with small children, to make it easy for everyone.

Our family has always loved Narragansett area. My Dad went to URI and worked in the Wakefield area. As a family, we always spend a lot of our summers here and when we found the perfect house we made it our own!

We fell in love with this house for 4 reasons: The first is the proximity to the beach - a 5min walk to the quieter end of Scarborough. The second is the neighborhood, which has wide streets and a well maintained playground. The third is the open floor plan with cathedral ceilings for entertaining! And finally the large yard to play with the kids.
