Just 0.4 miles from the Mt Rainier National Park entrance your adventure starts right outside our door! Welcome to Cedar Cabin, your peaceful forest retreat. Breathe in the crisp mountain air and unwind in serene, wooded surroundings, perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, stargazing, or simply cozying up by the crackling indoor fireplace. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi and TV, and the rustic charm of a wood-burning hearth. Step outside to scenic views, private trail access, and the quiet rhythm of nature all around.
Bathroom: 1 private bathroom with all the essentials.
Parking: Free private parking directly at the cabin for your convenience.
Outdoor Access: Enjoy the surrounding serene forest views and easy access to scenic walking trails.

There is an outlet available to use free of charge for guests. It is located on the front side of the cabin near entrance.
The driveway can accommodate 2-3 vehicles.
Tucked into the woods for a cozy and private escape, the cabin features peaceful mountain views and is just a short stroll from the scenic Nisqually River walk perfect for unwinding in nature.
Check-in instructions, address, Wi-Fi password and Wi-Fi smart lock code (to enter the front door) will be sent prior to guest's arrival.
Check out instructions will be sent to you the night before departure.
Mountain Views – Enjoy quiet mornings or starlit evenings with serene views of the nearby mountains.
Nature at Your Doorstep – Walk to the beautiful Nisqually River trail or explore nearby hiking, snowshoeing, and wildlife-watching.

We recommend purchasing supplies prior to your arrival, as the nearest grocery store in Ashford has only the basic supplies, beer and wine. There are a few restaurants, an art gallery, and a gas station in town.
Firewood can be purchased in Ashford at the General Store or the firewood vending machine outside of Jacob’s Barber. There are also places along the highway that sell wood bundles. PLEASE NOTE: it is the guest’s responsibility to check if fires are allowed during their stay.
