Narrow alleys with the small and beautiful houses of Messenia nestle up to a medieval castle that is picturesquely extending to the sea like a sharp triangle on the southern Cape of Messenia. Two of the most beautiful beaches of this region are bordering to each side of the village. South west of the village the fine sandy beaches of Zaga and Memi are spreading along the coast.

The detached house BIZOS is in an absolutely quiet and idyllic location at a green hillside above the sea and the Zaga beach. The small house is painted white and has blue shutters. It is simply and modestly furnished resembling old times. The house is surrounded by vines, vegetable fields and olive trees and is ideal for nature lovers or people seeking tranquillity.

It is on elevated ground floor. Via two steps you get to the kitchen that is adjoining to the 2 bedrooms (one with ir conditioning) and the bath. From both bedrooms you have direct access to the terrace facing the sea, where you can enjoy a wonderful sea view. The house lies secluded, has lots of atmosphere and an authentic, typically rural comfort, although not traditional. The holiday house BIZOS offers a wonderful, wide sea view across the Messenian Bay and is perfect for an enjoyable beach holiday. You only need to follow the narrow foot path in front of the house and after approx. 200 m you reach the fine sandy Zaga beach.
This holiday house is ideal for you, if you like to spend your holidays close to a village and have short ways to run necessary errands, yet want to live in a quiet surrounding close to nature. The close-by picturesque village Koroni with its port scenery, taverns and cafés make a nice change from the quiet location of this holiday house.

Especially charming are also the towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messenia. There are also many untouched beaches on the coastline between Koroni and Pylos.
