This was our 3rd stay at this great spot! Looking forward to a return stay!The sweet bungalow is in a terrific neighborhood for walking- just for pleasure or for coffee houses and restaurants close by. Easy access to all SD has to offer- beaches, museums, shopping, Balboa Park. Chris is a thoughtful and responsive host. Highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend. The location was great - the neighborhood was safe and quiet and it was close to everything we were interested in doing. The home was very comfortable and clean. All amenities provided. We were very happy with our stay, and loved that it was pet-friendly!!

We loved this house! It has so much original architure features that are original to the house. The host was responsive and the house was perfect for our stay. We would stay here again without a second thought!

Overall the place was great. Could use a few updates but nothing that would make the stay unsatisfactory. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Very clean and well maintained.

Our stay in your VRBO was perfect! Only 10 mins from my daughter. Neighborhood very quiet. Staying in SD made me miss living there! I will return to your bungalow on Sutter St.

Perfect house!

My wife and I stayed here for about 5 weeks. Everything was perfect! We called Chris early on with a question and he got right back to us. We would be delighted to stay here again. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen even beach chairs!

The first impression of this house when you drive up is not great. You park in the driveway around the corner and that is where this house and the neighbor's house look run down and "iffy". The inside of the house is cute. The AC takes some getting used to since there are 2 units in each bedroom and that is confusing.. Overall, the location is great, the water is hot and the inside is cute.

Wonderful getaway!

This bungalow is a treasure! Quiet, walkable, beautiful neighborhood- with easy access to all San Diego has to offer:Balboa Park, beaches, great take- out, sit down dining, groceries. The house has much of its charming original detail, coupled with convenient necessities. Chis was super helpful and responsive. Don’t want to rave too much- we want it to be available for our next trip!

Wonderful old house in great neighborhood

We loved the old house. Everything was clean and in good working order. We loved the old house charm. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Check in and out was easy. The owner was very responsive and came over right away when we needed him. The AC units are quiet and worked well. The pillows were very comfortable. We loved the large open family room. We did not have our dogs with us, but it would have been convenient to have them with us with the dog door and enclosed yard. We give it 6 out of 5 stars! We would definitely stay here again.

Sweet Mission Hills Bungalow

This cozy little house is in a beautiful and walkable neighborhood- close to good eats, downtown, attractions and beach access. Ideal for a busy tourist or some time to just chill. Host is super responsive and helpful.

Great Middletown Cottage

Very nice cottage with original tile and built ins. Great host. It is small and it is very old but extremely clean and well maintained. Host is great. Great central location. Would definitely stay there again.

Unique vintage style home

Don’t expect a modern style home. This is a well kept classic style home that is rare to find. Everything from plumbing to appliances - very rustic and vintage. And everything works perfectly! House is in a nice and safe neighborhood. Chris was a great host. He came by and noticed we had an EV and offered to let us charge on his 240 outlet. We didn’t use it but appreciated the offer. Will stay again.
