Modern and spacious 2-room apartment in a beautiful Art Nouveau building in the Schönbrunn style around 1900. It has 58 m2 and is located on the third floor with elevator. It is sunny and bright and ideal for work and leisure. Among its main characteristics are the proximity to the Schönbrunn Castle and Park. The underground U3 and numerous shops, restaurants, Cafés and parking facilities are around the corner. The travel distance to the City center (Stephansplatz / City) is approx. 12 min., to the Schönbrunn Palace & Park approx. 8 min or 20 min. by foot. The apartment is a mix of modern furniture, Asian inspirations and design of 1900. There is a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, nespresso coffee machine, water heater; a spacious bathroom with a bathtub/shower, and a washing machine / dryer; a spacious bedroom with double bed and sofa; a living room with leather sofa and arm chair, and an eating area with three seats. There are towels, bed linen, kitchenware, TV and wireless internet for free. The apartment is ideal for individual travelers with a sense of styleful living design in a truly historical ambiance.

Great apartment in Vienna (Penzing district)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. Ruth-Marie was super accommodating and helped us out immensely with a couple of special requests. Close to U-bahn and the Schonbrunn Palace, this apartment is highly recommended.

Vienna flat for two!

Ruth-Marie has done an incredible job renovating and decorating a convenient one bedroom flat, close to delicious restaurants, the U bahn and Schonbrunn Palace. I highly recommend this property and the gracious host! Would stay there again!

The apartment was perfect and Ruth Marie was terrific!

Let me just say that Ruth Marie was awesome and made our stay perfect! She was accessible any time we needed her from letting us in and showing us around, to making suggestions on how to get around the area and explaining the public transport. The apartment is in a good location to access the subway to get to everywhere you'd want to visit in Vienna.

Great apartment in Vienna

The apartment is located 3 minutes from the U3 metro line which takes you right into the centre in 10 - 15 minutes. It is clean, bright and spacious, and has everything you need for a stay in Vienna. There is a friendly coffee shop around one corner, and a very well stocked supermarket around the other. Perfect.

Great host and great location!

Ruth-Marie is a very thoughtful, personable, and helpful host. She took time to tell us about places to go and met us as we were leaving to see how our stay went. She wished my daughter a happy birthday, knowing we were there to celebrate it. The apartment itself had everything we needed and was perfect for two people. It was very clean and spacious. It was a quick walk to the U3 line which takes you right to the center of the city. There are grocery stores close by as well. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again if we come back to Vienna.

Beautiful and comfortable apartment

Ruth-Marie is a wonderful contact person for this apartment. Ask a question, you get an answer. The apartment was easy to get to by our driver and the instructions on entering the building were easy to understand. You have ample room to relax and get a city pass to use the local transportation. Great Place, Great Host

The apartment had all the essentials you needed and is very comfortable for a couple. On 3rd floor but has elevator. The neighborhood felt safe and was close to the U-bahn and S-bahn stops as well as the grocery store (closed on Sundays, like most in Vienna). It was easy to get to many of the places you want to see while in Vienna. The host Ruth Ann was exceptional. Greeted us in person and showed us the rental. She checked in on us during the stay via text. We were there during a big storm and all trains were cancelled on our checkout day. She was kind enough to proactively check if we knew about the closures and even tried her best to extend our stay, unfortunately for us another guest was checking in. She was the best host we ever had. We would stay here again if coming to Vienna.

Excellent!

Our five day stay in this wonderful apartment was not enough! I give it the highest recommendation for cleanliness, furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer dryer which was easy to use, comfy bed and linens. Our warm and kind host happily provided resources for restaurants, grocers and transportation. She has a binder with maps and details and is available for questions. Communication before and during our stay was superb. The Vienna bus/streetcar/subway system is so easy to use and access is just a 5 min walk from the apartment. Schronbrunn Palace and the village of Heitzing with cafes and shopping are easily accessible. There is a new cafe directly on the street of the apartment and a delightful grocery store around the corner. Thanks, Ruth-Marie, for making our Vienna stay so memorable! On our next trip to Vienna, we will plan to stay here again.

Fast wie zuhause .....

So stellt man sich eine Ferienwohnung vor, in der man sich sofort beim Ankommen wohl fühlt. Dies auch durch das persönliche Willkommen durch den Gastgeber.Durch die direkte Anbindung an die U3, ist es absolut kein Problem die Stadt zu erkunden. Für die Versorgung ist alles in ca. 5 Minuten zu erreichen.

A comfortable, quiet, tastefully decorated apartment with a gracious and communicative host. Kitchen is small, but worked out fine for a 5-week stay and I did light cooking every day. The bedroom and living room are spacious. Fixtures and equipment all first rate. The U3 is 2 blocks away.

Penzing at its best

Penzing ist ein lebendiger, aufstrebender Bezirk mit viel schöner Bausubstanz (spannende Mischung, teilweise unrenovierte Gemeindebauten der 1920er, daneben mehr und mehr top sanierte Altbauten mit neuen Luxus-Dachgeschossen). Die Wohnung ist mit den „Öffis“ wirklich super erreichbar, mit der U3 (Haltestelle keine drei Minuten entfernt) ist man schnell in der Innenstadt und mit der Tram in wenigen Minuten in Schönbrunn und Hietzing. Auf der Hütteldorfer Straße gibt es alles, was man braucht (Billa, Bäcker, dm, Penny). Im Haus ist es völlig ruhig, von der Straße kann es mal vom Schanigarten schräg gegenüber herüberschallen. Die charmante Wohnung, insbesondere die kleine Küche, ist komplett und geschmackvoll ausgestattet (einziger Ergänzungswunsch: ein Toaster). Das Doppelbett ist nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich. Im Hochsommer lässt es sich nicht vermeiden, dass sich die Wohnung ziemlich aufheizt (die Zimmer gehen nach Südwesten und haben keine Rollläden). Frau Schwarzinger ist sehr entgegenkommend und hat uns gute Empfehlungen für Lokale gegeben (Bio-Beisl und nettes Frühstücks-Café um die Ecke etc.). Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

Thoughtful open space

Ruth put so many thoughtful touches into this apartment. Little things like cottonvalls, face masks (still required in Austria) tissues, adorable dishes. Beautiful decor and a very personal welcome. The location is right next to the metro and tram stops as well as a convenient parking garage and grocery store

Gemütliche Wohnung in toller Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Penzing sehr genossen und uns fast so gefühlt als würden wir in Wien wohnen. Die Wohnung ist nicht direkt im Stadtzentrum aber mit dem Nahverkehr und auch zu Fuß wunderbar angebunden, was für uns im so mehr den Charme der Wohnung ausgemacht hat. Wir haben die Wohnung sehr gepflegt und sauber vorgefunden und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ruth-Marie ist uns zudem sehr mit den Ein- und Auscheckzeiten entgegen gekommen. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
