Welcome to Loon Landing on Lake Shishebogama! This retreat is in the heart of the Northwoods with a prime location to all that the Minocqua area has to offer year-round! This property is located less than 10 minutes west of Minocqua at the end of a private road. It offers approximately 100 feet of clear, sandy frontage with your own private dock for parking your boat. Lake Shishebogama is also connected to Gunlock Lake, giving you approximately 1000 acres of full-recreation lakes to explore!

Off-season: A shorter stay may be accommodated, please inquire for rates. Current off-season rates are discounted for a weekly stay.

This open-concept home features cozy bedrooms and three bathrooms and sleeps your entire family comfortably. It has been fully remodeled and updated in 2022 - 2023. You will enjoy all of the new furnishings, amenities, appliances and conveniences of this stunning lake home!

Take in the expansive lake views from the main level great room and kitchen.
Walk out onto the lake from the lower level, or play games around the game table and create family memories.

The house is just steps from the lakefront, where you can enjoy boating, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing from the dock. Swim in the clear, shallow waters or just take in the wildlife from the spacious deck. We have two kayaks, one canoe, and a swim platform available for your use. You can also rent a boat from one of the many watercraft dealers in Minocqua for you to explore all that the lakes have to offer.

Some of the most popular restaurants and attractions are within minutes of Loon Landing. Minocqua Winter Park provides terrific hiking and biking trails, and winter ski and fat tire bike rental. Wildwood Wildlife Park Zoo & Safari, home to more than 1,700 animals, is less than 5 minutes away. For winter enthusiasts, Oneida County is home to an extensive network of snowmobile trails – with a major snowmobile-trail corridor crossing Lake Shishebogama, connecting Hwy 70 to HWY 47 trails. Winter enthusiasts are welcomed!

Great place with incredible views

This property was a great place for a getaway. We enjoyed watching the wildlife from the great room and huge deck – the house is so close to the water! Everything inside the house was so clean and looked brand-new. The host was terrific to work with. We will definitely return!

Fabulous Vacation Rental

This rental blew us away. They had thought of every detail to make this property feel like home. Clean, cozy, and so comfortable. Great spot for fishing, swimming, and we enjoyed playing games as a family. Quiet spot at end of road and in a quiet bay on lake. Don’t hesitate to rent this home. It’s located so conveniently to the zoo, restaurants, and shopping. We will absolutely be back!

Fall Minocqua Get Away

We had an amazing week in Minocqua. Our house was perfect. The location was everything that was described and more. It was beautiful, peaceful, great location and very quiet. Our host had the best communications that I have experienced in 12 years of renting from VRBO. I highly recommend this house for any time of the year. We saw fishermen, people canoeing and pontoons. Fun lake and lake house.

Great Stay Up North!

This is a beautifully appointed home with spectacular views and many extras! We enjoyed our stay so much that my husband said, "let's book this place again next year" (which says a lot because he doesn't usually have much of an opinion). We found absolutely nothing to be lacking. We had everything we needed to cook & grill all of our meals "at home" and not lose a moment away from the lake. We enjoyed all of the water toys and made some nice memories around campfires at the fire pit. The hosts are extremely responsive. They sent a text on our first day to make sure that everything was to our expectations. They even suggested special events around town during the week we there. We will definitely be planning a return trip!
