The space

This Mid Century Modern Home is Built on top of a hill with AMAZING Mountain Views! This is your perfect escape to explore all of what the desert has to offer!

This home is equipped with a full queen size bed, two twin beds (trundle) and accommodates up to 4 guests! One full bathroom and a fully equipped Kitchen/Living/Dining Area! The outdoors patio has plenty of seating with a dining table as well!

Smart TV and WI-FI included! Roku Device with Hulu, Netflix, Disney +, and HBO Max included.

Kitchen has all essentials including, stove, oven, microwave, freezer/fridge, toaster, Kuerig coffee Maker, cooking utensils, pots, pans and salt and pepper!

Great views from patio, AC worked great, good location with quick driving access to Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree NP. Host was very communicative and responded quickly to issues before and during the stay.

Desert Weekend

Check- in was easy and the place was immaculately clean. It was exactly as described. For us, the location was perfect as we had planned activities in both the Palm Springs and Joshua Tree areas. Great views and comfortable beds. Perfect for a weekend for two.

Quiet Place to stay

We enjoyed the location, which was close to Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. The area was quiet, and was not too close to neighbors, with a lovely view. This made for a nice respite from the cities. The owner was quick to respond to our questions, and very pleasant.

Perfect Mini House for 2 night stay!

Everything as advertised…spotlessly clean, fully loaded, v comfy mattresses and great views. We had 2 kids and the sofa bed + trundle were super comfy and they loved it. We will definitely be back!!!

Great location near three preserves and Joshua Tree NP. Clean, comfortable, quiet property. Has plenty of outdoor seating, hammock, tables for lounging. Owner/manager very helpful, seamless check-in and check-out, great communication. Thanks!

A real hidden gem

Wow, Esmat really outdid himself with this place! He was extremely professional and helpful prior to the stay and very responsive when we had questions. The place itself was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay (including our furry 4-legged travel buddy). Also, the views and the remote/quietness of this hidden gem are out of this world. Hard to find places like this now-a-days at this incredibly reasonable price and proximity to Palm Springs! I couldn't recommend this place more, but if I could, I'd recommend going in the Spring (although I bet anytime of year this place is beautiful). 5-stars doesn't do this place justice, so I'd say check it out for yourself (and bring your dog because they'll love it too!).

Little Gem

The house was clean and met our needs perfectly. I was easily able to contact the owner with a question, and he quickly resolved my question. We were out during the day with various activities, but back in the evenings. It was very cozy. It is in a nice neighborhood, and is secure. There is some wildlife, which was fun. Within 30 minutes a roadrunner, a quail, and a coyote made an appearance. They all looked healthy, so be cautious with your pets. The view is lovely.

Rest and Relax!

This home is perfectly located between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs, partially up the hills of Morongo Valley. There are fantastic free trails 6 minutes away at Morongo valley preserve. Even on windy days the outdoor space was calm and quiet. I wrapped myself in a sleeping bag and enjoyed the full night sky of stars. The building is modern and comfortable. Everything we wanted was provided: very comfortable bed, great lighting, extra blankets, heat and fan, fully stocked kitchenware, yoga mats, washer dryer. The host is extremely kind and responsive. Check in and check out was easy-peasy, great wifi and full streaming on ROKU, great for long winter nights. We did our shopping at Trader Joe’s in Palm Springs rather than eating out. We enjoyed the close Joshua Tree trails as well as the Morongo Valley Preserve. I will absolutely return to this lovely home. We are grateful for many sweet memories!

Really just about perfect.

We were visiting family in DHS so this was essentially planned as a crash pad, but I wound up leaving everyone at home and spending the days at the property. The property was clean, tidy, inviting and well maintained. Nestled up on a hill in a rustic residential neighborhood, there is enough space between neighbors that you get the space you need to decompress. The location is dead quiet save for the sound of the wind rustling through the native fauna. The view from the patio or the sliding glass offers expansive views of the adjacent hills and open skies. The low population density provides for low levels of light pollution which results in a night sky full of stars. We really only used the beds and bathroom, but the kitchen was well appointed if you wanted to stay and cook your meals in house. The location really is a small town in every sense of the word. A couple of gas stations, a couple of restaurants, a few shops and that's about it. Gorceries and essentials are down the hill in Desert Hot Springs or further up in Yucca Valley. For me, this was the perfect balance and dollar for dollar the best value compared to hotels in DHS or PS. Private, secluded, modern, self contained, quiet, peaceful. I could have just stayed there all weekend, sat on the porch and watched the world go by. Definitely a world away from my regular life in the suburbs south of So-Fi. 100% recommend.

The home itself is perched beautifully at the foothills overlooking the Morongo Valley, creating a serene setting and a cool afternoon breeze that made the desert heat surprisingly pleasant. The A/C worked perfectly, though I barely needed it thanks to that refreshing natural airflow.The house is peaceful, private, and well-equipped with everything I needed. It was the ideal spot for a solo getaway with my dog. We loved our morning and evening strolls around the quiet neighborhood, surrounded by stunning desert scenery.I left feeling refreshed and recharged, and I’m already hoping to return for another much-needed break from the hustle of daily life. Highly recommend Casa de Azul for anyone seeking a tranquil desert escape.

Beautiful Views!

Home is clean, view is gorgeous - perfect location situated only 45 mins from Joshua Tree and 25 mins from Palm Canyon Drive. Home is situated in a neighborhood but felt secluded and quiet by the positioning. Can see the stars in the sky and patio door faces the sun as it rises in the morning. Esmat was very communicative and responded to my msgs quickly. Will stay again.

Great location with fast Wi-Fi.

This location is perfect for visits to Palm Springs or Joshua Tree. Fast Wi-Fi and without a doubt the cleanest VRBO we ever stayed at. Also dog friendly in a quiet neighborhood.

Top Notch. Modern and Brand New

The property is newly built and modern with all the bells and whistles. Great furnishings and decor with brand new and quality products, such as a cute retro fridge, giant stainless steel sink with gooseneck faucet, great electric stove, microwave & keurig. The place was spotless upon arrival and all the lovely pillows. new plush bath towels and wall decor really looks so instagrammable! My son loved the polaroid camera and the air conditioner was nice and cool. Location was about a 30 min drive to Joshua Tree or Palm Springs, which we went to both that weekend. Quiet neighborhood with pretty good privacy with the metal walls. We saw so many stars in the desert night sky. Communication with Esmat was prompt and clear. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends!
