This was SUCH a peaceful place! I loved how it was right in the water like I wanted it to be. I was able to fish and just relax with no problems. Everything was laid out nicely and you pretty much have everything that you need there. Take your food with you and just enjoy yourself. She also responded to me in a timely manner. I will definitely be returning for another peace of mind.

Quiet cove

We really enjoyed ourselves at this house. Nice house in a quiet cove. Has a ramp for smaller boats.

Great little fishing camp

Need some things cleaned up outside, Repair the screen doors at front and the back. Very clean inside and well outfitted. We had a great time fishing.

Nice Getaway

This is a very sweet home. Clean and located on a very quiet area of the lake. Only drawback is you do have to drive 20+ minutes to get to a store or restaurant. We enjoyed the downtime. If you are looking for some R&R this is a great place to stay.

This is a cozy and comfortable house on the lake that is well worth the trip to Prosperity!Overall, I would rate this place a 9/10. The property has a lot to offer. The cove the house is located on is very nice and boat traffic was at a minimum. The screened in porch provides a nice option for sitting outside and enjoying the lake views. A neighboring property had some enthusiastic partiers the weekend we stayed, but their noise was not bothersome when inside the house. We would happily stay here again and feel comfortable bringing our whole family.That said, and it may simply be the result of it being near the end of the summer season, there are a few maintenance items that should be addressed. A couple of areas could also benefit from a more thorough cleaning.

Relaxing Destination

The house was immaculate when we arrived. Amber was super responsive to the messages sent with questions before our arrival and during our stay. We spent the majority of our vacation at the house, neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We had everything we needed for an amazing family vacation. Highly recommend!!

Very clean house. Neighborhood is a little sketchy and tons of mud rather than a driveway. No privacy from neighbors.

Cute, comfy cottage

The cottage is super cute and comfortable inside. I loved that it had a screened porch. Location on the lake was great - especially with kids. It was our first time to Lake Murray so I enjoyed the ruralness and the beautiful drive to get to the cottage. You are about 25-30 minutes away from a store if you need something. We highly recommend checking out Chickenbutt Donuts towards Chapin if you love a cake donut - such a fun spot. We also enjoyed spending some time in the town of Newbury. Everyone was very friendly.

Perfect little getaway!

We loved staying on the lake. My daughter was excited to wake up and canoe with her daddy every day. Good, quiet location. Perfect amenities.

Beautiful sunsets

This was a great spot for us. The property owner clearly had thought of everything we could need and more! Unfortunately, we came during peak mosquito season and they were bad around the house but they were fine at the dock. We really enjoyed floating in the lake and watching the beautiful sunsets! Would stay again.

Great getaway

We had a great weekend! The house was perfect for our family of 5. The location on the lake was beautiful and our kids really enjoyed having the kayaks.

Excellent Vacation

We were so happy with our experience with this property. The owners were so quick to respond whenever I had a question. The property is very clean and updated. My family and I had the best time here and would come back in the future.
