Very cute chalet, plenty of space, beautiful view. Has a path through the woods to a park to a beautiful bluff, where you can look out over the Lake Michigan. Would definitely recommend this property in Ellison Bay.

The home was not very clean. The screen door wasn’t working. There was no extra toilet paper. The dishwasher was full. We expected the house to be ready for us, and cleaner. It was quiet and nicely decorated.

Thank you for letting us know that our cleaner forgot to unload the dishwasher or leave extra toilet paper. That must have been so frustratingly! We will address this with our cleaning company. We are also disappointed to hear the home didnt seem clean, especially since we had personally gone to the property and did our typical "end of summer deep clean" which involved a full day of dusting, washing cabinets, baseboards, and full bedding/pillow and blanket swap outs. Cleanliness is a high priority to us, especially since we have invested in high qualtiy furnishings and want to keep the home fresh.

Beautiful, cozy, clean, and quiet. The view off the back deck was amazing. Beds were comfortable enough. There were plenty of pillows and blankets and towels available for us to use. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo was very nice and the view was also gorgeous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. However, the listing included a heated community pool, but it was closed for repairs. I was told that the owners only found out it was closed for the season the weekend before we arrived. They apologized and told us about the nearby beaches. I rented knowing of the beaches, but wanted a pool also. This rental fit the bill until we got there. Looking back at previous reviews, one renter in JULY expressed their dismay at the non functioning pool. I was renting at the end of August. I believe this owner should have at least reached out to me beforehand about the pool’s condition and not deceive me that they only knew of its condition days before. The house and area is lovely, but I would not stay there again, because of the pool deception. I believe I should get what I originally paid for.

Thank you for you for the kind words regarding our chalet! We appreciate your perspective on the pool closure, and while it appeared deceptive from your view, the pool was being repaired in July and was told from the pool company it would be up and running by mid August. Unfortunately the part they needed was backorder, and we werent notified the August repair date wouldn't be met until that date came and went. We advised you as soon as we were told. We wish you would have told us how you were feeling about it so we could have explained the timeline better with you. That must have been a horrible feeling and we apologize for the inconvenience. Good news is that the pool is receiving an $80k overhaul and we should have a perfect pool for next summer if you choose to stay again! :)

Great place!

Excellent rental - everything was put together really well and felt very thoughtful. Tons of space, wonderful view out to the bay. Great place for a quiet getaway!

Overall good experience. It should be noted that the third bedroom is only accessible by walking through the second bedroom making it less available than a renter might think. The grill was in such poor condition that it was not usable. The sliding door to the deck was missing the screen door reducing its usability for ventilation. Lastly, the electronic lock on the door failed locking us out of the property. Luckily we found a neighbor with a key to the garage that allowed us entry.

Thank you, Maureen. It truly is beautiful. We are a family of five and often travel here with other families, and we find it great for both "old couples" and families. We are disappointed to see our first and only 3 star rating with all the great amenities, views, location, and additonal servies we provided, including a personal grocery delivery, and daily communication we had together. Not sure what else we could have done/provided to get a 4 or 5 star review. Please contact us directly.if you have additional feedback to help us improve for future guests.

Great stay

The location was perfect, close to every where so we could see the whole area. The condo was clean and comfortable and lake views were nice. Peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the hiking and shopping.

Amazing Property

The views and the location were perfect. It was easy to get to all the areas of Door County that we wanted to see. The home was beautiful and everything that you would need was provided. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Family Vacation

First time in Door County! Really enjoyed the amenities and quiet of this property! AJ was super easy to work with. Traveled with my Mother and In Laws and they really loved the property. Chalet had everything we needed during our stay!

Secluded Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ellison Bay Chalet! The location is convenient to both Ellison Bay and Sister Bay. The condo is very roomy, quiet and comfortable. The water view is picturesque with lovely views of the sunrise each morning. Our daughter-in-law especially loved the nook under the stairs for knitting. The pool is also a very nice amenity.

Don’t delay...book this chalet!

This was our first trip to Door County and it was amazing! The magnificent harbor views made it hard to leave, but the wonderful location made it easy to explore all of Door County. The property owners were wonderful from the first question I asked prior to booking and have equipped the chalet with everything you will need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. This is truly a little slice of heaven in Wisconsin. Thank you to AJ & Kate for sharing it with us!

Great location

We loved our stay at this condo. The location is perfect for Door County. The condo was very spacious for our family. The kids loved the pool and the place had everything you needed. You have a view of the water but it’s through the woods which is ok. It was hard to tell what the view was based on the listing pics so we didn’t know what to expect until we go there. We would come back again.

Great house and great location

The location for this property is perfect! It is very close to the main part of Sister Bay but in a very quite location with great views. The house was very nice and updated. It had everything that you would need for time away. Having access to a pool was great! Our kids loved using it when we had down time. The owners of the property were very nice and easy and quick to communicate with. Overall, just the right amount of house and great location for a trip to Door County.

Just like home

It was very relaxing. We packed things that Andrew and Kate already thought of (storage bags, games, beach towels, etc). View was awesome. Despite the fact we missed there was no ac it was very comfortable there considering it was a hot week. It really felt like home away from home. Andrew and Kate were also very accommodating knowing that I had an ill mom and our vaca might be cut short. Andrew even offered prayers for my mom. Truly great place and great hosts! We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you!!

This is the perfect location! Secluded and quiet, overlooking breathtaking water views.. while only being a quick drive away from bustling Sister Bay. We loved that there was a pool and walking trails to the lake as well. Northbluff Condos is truly a great little hidden gem.
