Historic Norwegian Built 1938 Log Cabin – Walk to Sister Bay

We invite you to stay in our lovingly restored vintage Door County cottage. Historic, fresh and charming describes this remodeled log cabin built by a Norwegian immigrant in 1938.

This home is ideally located along the desirable Bay Shore Drive in Sister Bay! A short 5 minute walk into town allows you to take advantage of the park, marina, beach, boutiques, restaurants, ice cream / coffee shops and more, then retreat to the private quiet cabin to sit, relax and unwind. Additionally, we are centrally located in the county making visits to Gills Rock, Ellison Bay, Fish Creek, Ephraim, Egg Harbor and Bailey's Harbor all within a short drive (5-20 min).

This lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bath, full kitchen, cottage provides everything you'll need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. First floor: bedroom, open family / dining room, bathroom and kitchen. Upstairs: spacious bunkroom.

A large wrap around deck and front yard is a relaxing place to gather with family and friends...enjoy your morning coffee watching the people of Sister Bay pass by, grill / dine on the back deck, sip an evening cocktail watching the sun set over the bay, then end your day with a bonfire, smores and a little star gazing.

We host guests year round and ensure your comfort with a whole house furnace and central air conditioning. Please come soak up all four seasons in Sister Bay. We hope to see you soon.

Note: For safety and security purposes, one outdoor camera is located on the property. It is mounted and clearly visible on the rear exterior of the cabin. It monitors activity in the parking area.

* We are PET FRIENDLY for approved dogs with a reservation.
* Max Occupancy is 5 people / 2 cars per our permit with the village of Sister Bay.
* We extend a warm welcome to all guests in our home. Please do not attempt to violate the basic house rules related to: occupancy, pets, smoking or parties etc. and put us all in an uncomfortable position.
