The Host was fantastic, available and generous. The home felt instantly comfortable and welcoming. Everything you would have thought to need or thought of was available. Would love to return in future if available. The separate space was also nice with several guest.
Had great time was a perfect place, very clean, and so well stocked in the kitchen. Was able to cook full meals for the family we was in the area to visit. Beautiful location, saw many deer. Will definitely would stay here again.
Came to visit friends on watts bar lake. We rented this house to be close and it was perfect for our group. Had everything we needed for a long and relaxing weekend
Quaint little house. Very comfortable for two small families. The kids enjoyed the numerous games and puzzles. We walked around the neighborhood which was quiet and neighbors were friendly.
Pros: It’s a very lovely house inside and in a nice neighborhood. The owner was absolutely great with communication and very quick to respond to messages. The house was decorated beautifully and I loved the overall design of the house. It was located very conveniently near a public boat ramp to the lake. Cons: All that being said, there were definitely some cons. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. There were cobwebs all over the deck a deck furniture and even on the door knob of the house when we arrived, which made sitting outside on the deck undesirable. There were also weak spots in the deck which also deterred us from going out on it. There were also issues with all the cups in the cupboard being dirty, as well as “things” left around the house by mice. We found a bug in the filter of the K-cup coffee maker and had to clean it before using it. The air hockey table turned the air on but otherwise didn’t work. And the downstairs bathroom and shower were dirty with someone’s leftover stuff in the shower. The house had a realtor’s for sale sign in the driveway when we got there so, perhaps, that’s why it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, but this was disappointing to discover and why I didn’t give it 5 stars.
Everyone in our family loves coming to this house. The owners have addressed every item a vacationing family would need. We hope to be able to return every summer for years to come.
Location was great proximity to boat ramps. Great parking for boats and trucks. Communication with owners was timely and helpful. Will definitely book again when in the area.

Stephen, thanks for taking the time to review our home! I am so glad that your family was able to gather over the holidays and enjoy the time together. Please come back any time - we would love to host you all again in the future!
It was comfortable and relatively roomy for our 4 adults and 2 children stay. Even though the temperature plummeted outside, we were warm and toasting inside. The air hockey in the basement was a plus for the kids. Property manager was very helpful with the details of what to expect.

Jodi, thank you for the beautiful review! It was such a pleasure to host you and your family. If you get a chance to stay with us again in the future, I will have a larger bottle of honey awaiting your arrival! ;-)
Had a fishing tournament on Watts Bar. The accommodations were great for us. We were able to park three trucks with boat trailers and another truck in the driveway. A boat launch was conveniently located very close to the house. All of the guys that stayed bragged on how nice the house was and how pleased they were. We will definitely stay here again.

Sara is awesome to respond to any questions quickly. The house is beautiful with lots of room. The neighborhood is awesome also with great playground, fishing and swimming. Fully equipped Marina and a close restaurant were a plus. Again Sara was awesome to deal with.

apart from that it was all very good.

Angus, sorry that you thought our house was on the water. Our house sits across the street from the water, which is why I mention the “seasonal water views” from the front porch. However, we do have easy neighborhood access to the water for boats, swimming, and/or fishing. We also have two large marinas very close to our location. I apologize for any confusion that this might have caused.
About the host
Hosted by Sara Black
My husband and I enjoy traveling with our three kids and exploring out-of-the way destinations and restaurants. We enjoy working outdoors and even call ourselves novice beekeepers! Most of all we LOVE hosting family and friends at our home. We hope the HONEY HOLE is a blessing to you and your family - a place where you can rest, relax, and create many wonderful memories!
Why they chose this property
Our home is off the beaten path but still contains all of the modern conveniences that you would expect in the city. It is really the best of both worlds! After a short drive through the country from the main road, you will arrive at your private cozy oasis. The house is fully stocked with everything that you will need to grill a steak, host a pasta night, or drink a cup of coffee or tea while enjoying the sunrise. We are approximately 20 minutes to the closest Wal-Mart and conveniently located between Dayton, Knoxville, and Crossville. Use our house to go on a day trip to the Aquarium in Chattanooga or hike at Fall Creek Falls. If you are visiting the area for fishing, we are approximately 30 minutes north of the Dayton Boat Dock and 20 minutes south of Tom Fuller Memorial Park in Rockwood. Our house is truly a HONEY HOLE - the secret location where you will want to come back to again and again!
What makes this property unique
We are located in a quaint fishing community consisting of older and newer homes. Residents are frequently seen taking leisurely walks, driving golf carts, or admiring the wildlife. The street is wooded and quiet and deer are frequently seen roaming up and down the main road or on the property during the early morning and dusk. Even though the house does not have direct water access, there is both a private and public boat ramp within three minutes of the house. Guests may swim, fish, or pull their boat in/out of the water from either of these convenient locations. The neighborhood boat ramp and dock is close enough to enjoy while you view the serenity of a TN sunset. Two local marinas are open seasonally and offer guests the opportunity to dine and/or rent watercraft vehicles.
