About Douglas Morton
We are new to the vacation rental business but not to the Great Valley, Ellicottville and Salamanca area. My husband grew up in the area. In fact we can see his parents house from our porch across the corn field and pumpkin patch. For more details on our home you can check out our Web site.
Douglas Morton purchased this House in 2008
Why Douglas Morton chose Great Valley
There is always something to do. My favorite thing to do is sit on the porch in my rocking chair and my cup of coffee and watch the earth wake up.
What makes this House unique
We enjoy taking our grandchildren to 'grandma and grandpa's BIG House.' We play with them in the yard or on the playground across the street. They enjoy eating pizza and wings from the small market down the street or going out to town to get an ice cream cone. On Sunday's we go to the Baptist church on the corner and during the week we enjoy visiting with friends and relatives.

Perfect for a large group
This is the second time we have rented this property. Lovely huge dining table that seats 10. A few minutes drive into town for dinner or to the ski hill. We hope to get down in the summer to try the golf course.
The Grace Depot House is great for family gatherings any time of the year. Winter ski trips, golf get aways in the spring, summer, or fall, weddings, are just a few of the reasons people use our home. The kids will love the playground across the street. The campfire is great for roasting marshmallows while gazing at the stars on a clear summer night. We like to visit during berry picking seasons to restock our freezer.
While it’s a great place to stay for ski trips, there are so many other reasons to come for a visit.
The house has everything you would ever need for a winter get away!
Spacious, warm, good location to slopes! Loved all the fireplace, board games and puzzles too!!
The Grace Depot House is just a 4 mile drive from the slopes. It feels great to retreat to your own quiet haven for some rest and relaxation after a fun day of skiing. It's a great place to warm up after a chilly brisk day on the slopes and enjoy some down time with friends and family. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay!
Beautiful Home, Wonderful Hospitality, Great Vacation
Our families enjoyed everything about our vacation and Doug, the owner, could not have been more accommodating. The house had everything that you need - down to some condiments if you had forgotten something! All of the rooms were spacious. The beds and linens were all very comfortable. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked.
We want all our guests to have a comfortable stay. We especially want families and friends to enjoy their time making memories together. We look forward to having you visit the Grace Depot House again soon.
Charming and Quiet
A great place for a large group to connect after a day on the slopes!
After a run on the slopes, you can relax in front of the TV in a reclining chair or cozy up next to the fireplace on the couch.
Connect with friends and family when the weather is warmer around the campfire in the spacious yard or while sipping your morning coffee on the front porch as the sun rises over the hill.
