2 large covered patios with breathtaking panoramic lake and mountain views. Enjoy sunset by fire pit or on boat dock seating area.

Driving distance from Asheville, Biltmore, Linville. Short drive to scenic overlooks, hiking trails, waterfalls, local wineries and breweries.
3BD 2.5BA + Loft, Private Dock, Sauna, Game Room, Fire Pit, Grille, 2 Fireplaces, Hot Tub (Oct-Apr *per request during off season).
Open floor plan kitchen, family, dining room. Oak timber framed vaulted ceilings. Hardwood floors throughout. Every bedroom and all common areas have lake view. Master bedroom on main level. Upper loft with 2 beds and kids play area. Lower level 2 guest bedrooms and game room with pool table, wet bar and seating area. Sauna with outdoor shower. Covered patio spaces with lounge chairs and seating area. Private 2 story boat dock is steps down from the house. Amazing panoramic lake and mountain views.
You are welcome to use our private dock and moor your own boat on the side of it. We have 4 SUP boards for you to use.

Wonderful Home and Great Owners

The home is stunning and the location is beautiful! In person is even more amazing than the online photos. You can tell the owners love their home and take wonderful care of the property, with a stocked kitchen, all the supplies you need including firewood and laundry, and towels. The owners are also very responsive to provide any help you need. You could spend a full week enjoying the lake, but countless other options are within an hour drive, including hiking along the Blue Ridge, ziplining and rafting. Absolutely hope to return again next summer!

We are family of 4 from Cary, NC. We built our own vacation home on Lake James. We enjoy summers there to get away from heat and daily routine. Our family enjoys wakeboarding, surfing and spending time on water.

Very unique vacation home designed and built by us. Its a perfect property off the main channel tucked in behind Big Island on Lake James. The views and location is one of a kind. Enjoy Mt. Michell mountain range sunsets right from the patio.

Short boat ride to Bear Creek Marina and restaurant. Our property is right on water ski course. Amazing Dobson's Knob and Mt. Mitchell mountain range views.
