Casa privada construida en 4 lotes frente al lago. ¡No puedes ver a un vecino y ellos no pueden verte! Más de 500 pies de la costa de Lake James con muelle privado, embarcadero cubierto y terraza. Casa recién comprada y decorada con muebles NUEVOS. Tres habitaciones con vista al lago con nuevas camas king, una alcoba privada con cama queen, una litera triple (para niños) en el área del segundo den. Family Vacation on Lake James

Absolutely perfect for our weeklong stay. Jeff, our host was awesome and always available when needed. The house suited our Needs to a tee. Everyone in our family was very happy overall with everything.

We come back each year, for a weekend with friends on the lake. This house is amazing and we don’t have to worry about anything because we know the host will take care of us.

July Family Retreat

We had an awesome stay overall. The property and service were outstanding. As other reviews mention, the walk from the house to the dock and back is significant but manageable if everyone in the group can climb stairs and is in normal physical shape. Great place to swim. Our favorite part was the amazing decks and porches on every level. Awesome place to convene, read, nap etc. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. Well equipped house and clean house. Need to improve walk down to the lake, very difficult and hazardous for younger children. May want to have cleaner sweep porch area on lowest deck.

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Views

This Lakefront beautiful home with wonderful views. Three story home with 2 large wrap around porches with swings. The bottom floor has wrap around patio with a grill. Home is tastefully decorated. It has plenty of sleeping space, 2 family room areas, and entire basement is entertainment area with pool table, ping pong table, card table area, and kitchenette area. Also has awesome boat dock. My family had an amazing time and the homeowner was great at communicating. He provided detailed information prior to our arrival, as well as answered our questions promptly .

Awesome mountain lake house

We stayed here for a long weekend for New Years and absolutely loved it! The house is gorgeous, there are decks on all levels with lots of seating for the viewing areas, and the views of the lake and mountains are amazing. Located between 2 smaller towns and less than 45 minutes to Asheville made it easy to come and go as we pleased but honestly we stayed at home more than we thought we would. The bottom floor has a pool table, ping pong table, and darts board and we had many competitions! The grille is outside this level plus a second kitchen. The large tv on the main level was great for more family time as we watched bowl games.The beds were comfortable, plenty of nice towels, and the house is well stocked with pretty much everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Fabulous family lake house

This home is represented honestly with photos and descriptions. Large gathering rooms, comfortable beds, bathrooms, spectacular western view of Lake James, etc. Highlights for our family were the kitchen - great for the whole gang to gather for meals and games. The basement was fabulous with extra kitchen, card table, pinball, ping pong and the other room with pool table and dart board. Middle level was perfect for family and kids for sleeping. All levels had a balcony to relax on. The fire circle was perfect for s'mores and having access to the kayaks was terrific as four members enjoyed getting out in them. Friends came by with their boat and took us out for a ride so having the dock allowed that to happen. TRULY the BEST VRBO we have ever rented. Our host was always available and more than welcoming to have us use the place. They had games and even left the Christmas tree up for us even though it was New Year's Week. Twelve of our family members were here while the grandparents were in their small cabin they own nearby. Definitely a FIVE STAR rental!

Amazing Cabin

Awesome secluded place that my friends and I enjoyed for a long weekend. There were no hiccups throughout the rental process. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Great getaway!

House is fantastic! Located on a great part of the lake, easy access to everything. We had 10 in our group and it was extremely roomy. Rented other homes on the lake over the years, and I must say this was one of the best!! Well equipped. Definitely would rent again!

A Gem on Lake James

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious lakefront property! This log cabin is not only well built, but also well designed and tastefully decorated. It is conveniently well stocked, from the kitchen accessories down to the beach towels provided for the lake. This house is the perfect set- up for large groups, as there are many seating areas and places to gather. We especially enjoyed the daybed swings on the middle deck. Our family would highly recommend this property, and would love to return!

Great view of the lake and peaceful

Property overall was good but we had a couple of issue. First, the water smelled like rotten egg and had a foggy look to it. The AC on the top floor struggled to keep the room cool, no problems with the bottom two floors. The walk to the dock and lake was very steep and suggest hand rails.

Paradise on Lake James

Not your typical VRBO this property is a rare gem and one should feel lucky to be able to rent it. If you are interested in a truly scenic/ vacation home to enjoy a cozy get away with family and friends this property will leave you more than satisfied. Starting with the top floor with stunning lake views and a kitchen and dining room perfect for those who love to cook and entertain. Top floor also is where the Master bedroom is located which I must admit is a nice touch. Second floor has all the bedrooms and bunk beds with adjacent fireplace which makes for a very cozy room for the kids. Lower floor is where all the fun is with a game room that has ping pong, billiards, pin ball and darts etc , all in like new condition. Floating dock is perfect for all kinds of fishing or just lounging on the quite lake shore. Being in gated community was an additional treat and 40 minutes from Ashville makes this place pretty close to perfect. Price is on the high end but so is the experience - worth every dollar. RC

Great fall weekend in Nebo and Asheville ... amazing property!!!

We planned an October fall weekend getaway for 4 couples (no kids) near Asheville several months in advance and got lucky in finding this property on VRBO. This house/cabin is awesome and the amenities are amazing! We arrived on a Thursday afternoon and cooked dinner for 8 in the large kitchen and dining area. It was perfect. Enjoyed chilling on the outdoor decks and dock on the water for wine, beer and great conversation. Topped off the first night watching stand-up comedy on Netflix and laughing it up. Friday we went and hiked up Shortoff Mt which was excellent. Great hike all uphill and then downhill and enjoyed the fall colors starting to change. We had planned to go out to dinner in Morganton but everyone agreed they just wanted to chill at the cabin so we ordered food for pickup instead, more wine/beer on the decks and played pool, ping pong, darts, shuffleboard etc. What a blast hanging out here! Saturday was a day trip into Asheville which was only 45 min away. After grabbing morning coffee, the girls spent hours shopping and hitting up a wine bar while the guys did a brewery tour of Burial, Eurisko, Dirty Jack's and we all regrouped for a bite to eat and more drink art Wicked Weed. Headed back to the cabin for more games and also a fire in the fire pit. Sunday, we packed up and headed home. What a great weekend and I have a feeling we will be back again. A good friend of mine saw the pics and may also rent this place especially since it is wheelchair accessible. Jeff our host was fabulous. Outstanding communications and very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend this property and host, thanks Jeff! We had an amazing weekend.

Escape to Paradise

The gorgeous lake house was impeccably clean. Jeff was great to work with and responded immediately to questions prior to our stay. The beds were so comfortable to sleep on after a day on the lake. The ping pong, pool table, darts, and shuffle board were fun amenities in the evening. Words can't capture the experience of escaping to this large beautiful lake house!

Privacy! Be it in the separated bedrooms, on the three levels of back porches, or lounging and swimming on the boat dock, you've got space and are not right on top of another house or neighbor.

The views are great as this is a true mountain lake property. The house is situated at an elevated position maximizing views while still having a manageable walk down to lake level.
