☼ Enjoy the saltwater inground pool and the sand/surf of East Matunuck State Beach! We are just one mile away from this beautiful state beach that offers gentle waves, clean sand, and gorgeous views to Block Island. Speaking of Block Island - definitely plan a day at this breath-taking destination. Block Island is famous for its 1800s red-brick lighthouse that sits atop of dramatic clay cliffs. Sandy beaches on this majestic island are calling your name! ☼

After you spend a full day enjoying the beaches, you can easily swing by the Snug Harbor marinas to grab the fresh catch of the day for dinner, or start your day's adventures with breakfast by the sea. There is shopping to be had, and after you explore this quaint town of Wakefield, nearby Narragansett offers even more beaches, shopping, and restaurants. 4 minute walk to Matunuck Oyster Bar!

When you return home, after you take a dip in the pool, you will be greeted with a spacious 5-bedroom, 4-full bath home, with newly renovated lower level. The kitchen is fully stocked and features granite countertops, a large island with barstools, and a roomy dining area that can seat the biggest families. Though we aren't sure why you would dine inside when you can enjoy your meals on our large deck with outdoor dining tables and comfortable outdoor couch and chairs. The pool area features a custom built outdoor covered bar with speakers and a TV!

To unwind in the evenings, there is a large screen smart TV in the main living room as well as TVs in the bedrooms. The newly renovated lower level features a 5th bedroom with 2 full size beds, a large family room with large screen TV, a brand new full bath with shower, and a fresh clean laundry room with brand new state of the art Maytag washer and dryer.

The house is equipped with WiFi for streaming your favorite shows! Once more...the huge pool area. Not many homes in the area have an in-ground pool this close to the beach.

This home books up fast for Summer. We also have availability in Spring/Fall/Winter.

The house was lovely. We were lucky to be able to use the pool a couple of days due to nice weather and really enjoyed the backyard. Nice large kitchen for cooking group meals together and plenty of parking.

The house is in a perfect location – near East Matunuck State Beach and near many activities in the south Kingstown area. The owners were wonderful to deal with. The pool was perfect for our family as we had children napping, and others swimming at the same time. It is well equipped with linens m, bathroom and kitchen supplies.I would recommend this home.

We had a fantastic time staying at this spacious home in South Kingstown’s Snug Harbor. The layout worked perfectly for our family, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The location was ideal—close to everything we needed, yet tucked away in a peaceful area.One of the highlights was definitely the pool—it was clean, well-maintained, and such a great bonus for summer relaxation. The host was incredibly kind and friendly, checking in often to make sure everything was going well and even offering local recommendations, which we really appreciated.We would absolutely stay here again and are already hoping to return. Highly recommend!

Second year renting

The house was still lovely, and the weather was even better! Paul and Dana were very proactive and attentive about communication throughout the week. Easy drives to beautiful walking, browsing, restaurants and beaches and a great pool at home.

Wonderful vacation

This is an excellent place to stay, our whole family stayed the week. Accommodations are great. Pool is wonderful. Location is close to beach. Communication from owners is quick and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property

Loved the pool and the perennial flower beds which were in full bloom. The house is immaculate, tastefully decorated, nice furniture and sunny deck. Owners are easily reachable. Highly recommend!

Snug Harbor Home

The grounds were gorgeous. The house was spacious, with plenty of rooms to spread out. There was everything we needed and more. The price was reasonable and the area had lots do to, and even pet friendly beaches in the area. The hosts were easy to reach and attentive to our needs. The pool area could not have been better, except maybe for a fire pit for s’mores.

Great for larger groups!

We had a great time at Snug Harbor! For part of the week we had 12 people, the rest of the week 9 and never once did we feel on top of each other. There was plenty of sleeping space and GREAT outdoor space. Everything was clean and neat, decorated beautifully. The owners were very helpful and kind! We highly recommend this space if you’re heading to Rhode Island!

Snug Harbor Happiness

The house was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable for our family. There were seven of us… six adults ranging in age from 40 to 82, and our 3yr old grandson. The yard was lovely and allowed our grandson plenty of space to play and romp around. It was close to beaches. The hosts were responsive, warm, and welcoming!

Great property!

Paul and Dana’s house worked perfectly for our group. The two teenagers were able to have space for themselves on the lower floor, and the open and airy upstairs was easy and comfortable for the adults. The reclining couches were a huge highlight! And although the weather was not the best, we had some perfect pool days and a great beach day. Would recommend Thursday night RiverFire in Wakefield as well.

August 2023 Snug Harbor

The minute we walked into this house, we all felt at home! My family and I stayed a week in August, and absolutely loved it!!!! The house was beautifully decorated and cozy! We had several of us and we had plenty of room! The owners were fantastic! They had quick response and they were there for any questions we had! The pool was beautiful and well cared for! We are planning our return for next year!

Great Base For Beach

A beautiful well kept property with extremely attentive hosts Paul and Dana. Something for everyone with a grand saltwater pool grill outdoor eating space galore. All with a walk to beaches seafood ice cream and more. My large extended family are repeat customers and my wife is part RIlander - so we know. Do yourself a favor and reserve.

This one has it all

If you are looking for room to spread out in comfort this is the place you are looking for. The owners have provided everything you could want or need. That home sits on 3 to 5 acres in a beautiful private neighborhood. The pool area has everything including a TV. Paul made several recommendations of places to visit and to eat. There is much to see in the area. This is one of the nicest VRBO homes we have stayed in in over 20 years of traveling. Thanks again for your outstanding hospitality.

Beautiful Home and Property!

Walked into a very clean home. Grounds are beautiful. While we stayed for Columbus Day weekend with family we also had until Friday for the two of us. This is a dog friendly home. While the pool was closed, Paul and Dana allowed us the use of their grill. They are wonderful hosts and responded when needed. Can’t say enough good! The house is close to many shops and restaurants. Beautiful views of the water and the boats. I recommend this house to anyone!

Great family rental!

This home was super clean, updated and just very nice all around. Host was in touch from the beginning and checked in regularly to make sure all was well, which was nice. It had everything we needed for a fun stay and the pool and large yard were wonderful bonuses, especially with younger kids that want to be busy! The lower level was recently redone and is great, the house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy alone time if desired. The neighborhood is very quiet and kids can ride bikes around without worries of cars, traffic, etc. The home is close to great beaches, a nice marina and just a short drive to groceries, shopping, restaurants, etc. We would stay again for sure!
