Green Hill Beach Weekend

Just a short walk to the nearby beach. Second floor main living space has nice deck with ocean view. The house had everything we needed for a fun family weekend.

You can hear the waves in this perfect location for a family beach getaway! Wonderful, quiet neighborhood- two blocks from the ocean! The house is well equipped in the kitchen as well as the bathrooms and for the beach-umbrellas, chairs etc.Plenty to do- see the Dambo trolls in Ninigret Park, visit the Fantastic Umbrella Factory, sail on the Adirondack in Newport, visit Beavertail Lighthouse and of course- enjoy the beach and eat great seafood everywhere!Photographers will love capturing the Milky Way at night, all the flora and fauna and an amazing sunrise and sunset.We would love to stay here again!!

Clean and tidy property, though it could use some updates and repairs- e.g broken locks on doors, ripped screens, old deck furniture. While walkable to beach, note that there is no beach parking permit included in rental-parking for public beach (which is small) is on the road only, right in front of beach walk way and it fits only about 6-7 cars. Other lot is for members of beach club only. Large master bedroom is on upper level, alongside kitchen, and other 2 bedrooms are on first floor. Owner is welcoming and responsive.

We had a wonderful 2 night getaway and reunion with our grown children. You can see the ocean from the king size bed in the master bedroom or from the couch on the deck. All modern kitchen appliances. Comfy living room and dining at the gigantic kitchen island. Iolanda was always prompt and courteous with communications. Beach is a three-minute walk away. The master bedroom includes a through-the-wall air conditioner, but we didn't test it because Memorial Day weekend was only in the 50s and 60s. Overall the house was very clean and comfortable. The landscaping was well manicured. The garage contains lots of beach chairs, a grill, and a bicycle as well as a wagon to bring gear to the beach. My only disappointment was that we couldn't stay a few more days.
