The Beach House at Garden City is a 57 unit complex, located right on the Atlantic ocean.
This is a two-bedroom, two-bath side ocean-view located 0.4 miles north of Garden City Pier. This newly renovated unit has a fully-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and microwave, living room with private balcony, central heat and air conditioning. Two color TVs, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one queen and two twin-sized beds, plus a queen-sized sofa bed and spare cot. Common area includes a swimming pool, sun deck, beautifully landscaped grounds and on-site coin operated laundry. Limit one parking pass per unit. No smoking. No pets. Only 200’ from the beach! Maximum occupancy: 7

Nice get away!

Me my wife and daughter stayed at James place and we loved it. Is it a bit out dated yes but when you can sit on your balcony sipping your favorite drink while watching the waves crash on to the shoreline it makes up for it a bit. It would get a little loud at night but the noise never woke up our daughter thank goodness. It is a great location if looking for a place to stay on the beach.

The Beach House

Really enjoyed our stay here. Place was VERY clean and location could not be beat. It is right there at a Beach Access point. We did not use the pool, but sat on the beach every day as it was so convenient. Balcony has a beach view. Parking was great too. Property manager was fantastic. I'm old school and had a few questions so called vs text/email and he answered the phone right away and provided me with the information I was after. Overall, we had a great experience at the Beach House. Highly recommend.

View of beach from balcony. Exterior has been recently painted. Interior needed to be thoroughly cleaned. There were roaches in the condo. Would recommend contacting maintenance staff concerning cleaning and stocking linens.

Fine stay

It was nice. Queen bed tho was very uncomfortable for me and my boyfriend. But that could just be our preference. But everything else was fine. No complaints. Kitchen was stalked well. It was clean when we arrived.

renter safety suggestion

I enjoyed the location and how the decks were staggered. I think some taller charis should be available so shorter people can also enjoy tne view from sitting. Our family was fine but I would like to suggest one handle attached to the shower wall in case someone would slip, there was nothing to grab onto for reassurance if one would lose their balance or slip.

Great place just a short walk from Garden City pier

We had a wonderful stay at this unit in the adorable, bright blue complex at "The Beach House" complex in Garden City. It was just a few short steps out the door and onto the beach. The pool was very nice and not too crowded during our stay in late June. Parking was also no issue for us -- there were always plenty of spaces (we stayed Sunday-Thursday). It was about a 10-15 minute walk down the beach to the pier/arcade area. This was perfect for us because we found the pier area to be a bit too noisy for us in the past. This place was still "in the action" of Garden City but was more quiet for our family after hours. James was a wonderful and very responsive host. We had a small inconvenience due to some maintenance going on at the complex one day, and James was very quick to respond and take care of it for us. We would definitely stay here and book with James again!

Great location, super clean

We had an overall great stay at this nice condo. Great location with easy access to the beach. The condo was super clean when we arrived and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies you need. James was VERY responsive to all my questions during our stay. We noted a couple of issues with window blinds and the front door light which James stated would be replaced ASAP. The pool was closed during our stay, likely due to some construction for safety reasons, however, James stated they had not been made aware of this. Due to some theft issues of supplies, the owners provide initial supplies only so I recommend you bring extra paper towels, toilet paper, and garbage bags if you feel you will need them I would book this property again if we cone back to the Myrtle Beach area.

January “go south”

We had a 3 day stay, after being in a Hilton hotel for 3 days in Myrtle Beach for days. The weather was VERY COLD (30-40’s) so we didn’t do much there. Then we spent 3 days/ nights at James “Beach House” - we felt very comfortable there— like it was our home. The weather still wasn’t the best, but we were very content there. As the weather improved we got out to walk the beautiful beach and met some friends for lunch. Pleasant. The condo is nicely decorated, and stylish, but has a homey” feel to it. Not overly fancy! Just right! I had to bother James with three minor issues, and he was extremely warm and welcoming to my input. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Excellent Beach Bargain

As other reviewers stated the condo is bit dated, but it hits all the check boxes. The condo is clean, the AC, and all the appliance's (we used) worked, the beds are comfortable, it has plenty of hot water, it's centrally located (everything was a either walking distance, or a very quick drive), it has beach accessories, and it's right on the beach, with an excellent view from the patio. What else do you need to know?
