Comfortable sleeping for 10 includes upstairs Master Suite with private balcony, Kids Dream Bunk Room, Double Bed Guest Room, and 2 additional Queen Sleeper Sofas.

Greek Easter in Galveston

The house was just as described, very comfortable, clean and a great location. Easy walk to the beach. Garage is full of beach chairs and toys for the kiddos. We will be back.

Everything was wonderful at this property. Jennifer's quick response to every question made it easy. The descriptions were spot on down to what was in the garage and kitchen and what we did and did not need to bring. Thank you, Jennifer, for a lovely 4 days. We will be back.

Great weekend

Nice property and very responsive host despite some issues communicating through the VRBO app. Initial supplies were very adequate and thoughtful. Having patio games and beach equipment ( chairs. Wagon etc) was great Definitely recommend this property and host

Perfect Pirates’ Beach Escape

We had a wonderful time. The house is super clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect - ocean views from the two balconies, a 2 min walk to the beach, but on a quiet cul-de-sac street. The kitchen is spacious and more than well equipped. We prepared most of our meals at home and had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again!

FANTASTIC!!!!!

We travel a bit and this has to be one of our top locations. This house was MUCH better in person than the pictures did justice! It's maybe 2 min walk to the beautiful beach and sand. The neighborhood is quite and feels safe. We loved how welcoming the owners were and responded to questions within minutes of us reaching out. They supplied everything you could possibly need and even had a dog kennel provided! We cannot recommend this property enough!

Nice little beach Vacation

Everything was great, nice home, beach is a lot closer than it seems on the picture. Gave it 4 stars because the A/c went out but Jennifer fixed it right away, we went to dinner came back and it was fixed. A closet shelf fell & living room tv stop working the last day we were there so that’s why I put 4 stars but other than simple little mishaps that could of happened to anyone, it was nice, quiet, the beach was steps away. We had a great time & Jennifer is great.

Great escape for a week

We really enjoyed our time at this property. Jennifer was very quick to answer all my questions. It was our first vacation with our pets. I was very happy to have them with us, we avoided a lot of stress leaving them with sitters or pet hotel. I greatly appreciate that Jennifer let us have them with us. So I went ahead and groomed them the day before we left to have less shading. Need to mention that property has everything you possible will need. We mostly cook our meals from scratch, trying to eat less restaurant, and we were able to cook a wide variety of food without running into shortage of some kitchen utensils or appliances. The pictures and description are correct. Everything was as pictured. The check-in and -out was as easy as stepping into or out of the room. I was pleased to know I don't have to bring my beach chairs and wagon. Taking showers outside was a breeze after the beach. So convenient. I defiantly recommend this property!

Checked all the boxes for a family beach vacation

This property worked great for my family of 5 with kids age 3-8. We stayed shortly after a hurricane knocked out the internet but decided to come anyway. We really appreciate that the host installed a DVD player and provided a library of kids DVDs for us. There is an ocean view from the top balcony that was better than expected. (Great spot to hide from your family and read a book and the outdoor furniture was high-quality). This home is an easy walk to the beach. Another huge perk was the gear lift which saved me (Dad) from carrying all our heavy coolers, groceries, and luggage up the stairs! The bunk room is really cool but has little clearance on the top level so not for adults. However, the bottom bunks accommodate adults easily. The 12-person dining table and 4-person bar was the most spacious I've seen in a beach rental in Galveston and allowed us plenty of space for games and puzzles. The outdoor shower made rinsing off kids after the beach easy and there was a 2nd fridge in the garage which made it easy to load cooler drinks to the beach. As is typical in Pirates Beach after rains, the mosquitoes were pretty bad on the ground floor. But after I sprayed a fogger we were able to play games on the ground level and relax in the hammock without bother. Overall, this home worked great for our trip and I would stay there again!

Perfect Family Vacation!

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew this was the perfect spot for us. It is extremely well appointed and maintained to the highest degree. It’s comfortable, relaxing, and amazingly close to the beach. We enjoyed the breeze at night sitting on the patio eating dinner. We explored various areas of Galveston beach neighborhoods during our stay, and we could not be happier that we chose Pirates Beach for our family! Having experience owning and operating beachfront vacation rentals, my wife and I have high standards. This property and the owner exceeded our expectations on everything! We would highly recommend this property and we would definitely rent the house again!

Perfect get-away home

From the moment I booked the house everything was smooth sailing! Booking, confirmation, communication, and check in was so easy. We were greeted with a great 4th of July welcome basket. The house was clean and stocked with the essential toiletries. The kitchen had everything we needed, even a margarita machine! We will definitely be staying there again the next time we’re in Galveston.

Awesome time!

My family had an excellent experience at this property. I appreciated Jennifer and her communication and engagement with us. My daughter loved the bunk beds. The kitchen was well-stocked and the Margarita machine/blender was a great surprise. The beach was a short, easy walk and the wagon they provided was useful. The proximity to the convenience store and Mario’s Pizza was a huge plus, too. We would stay here again!

Amazing Galveston Getaway!!

Jennifer sent all of the necessary information and had all the things to make our families weekend getaway amazing! This house is a gem in a wonderful neighborhood and a very short walk to the beach. Will definitely stay here again!

Hosting a vacation home in Galveston fulfilled both of goals and allows me to share our family's beach house with families all over the world.

Our family vacationed in Pirates Beach for years making memories on the beach just steps away and enjoying this neighborhood so close to downtown Galveston for the food and nightlight but far enough away to feel like you are on vacation (Island Time).

When we had a chance this year to become residents of Pirates Beach we decided to open up our house to share a what we love – trading the daily routine for downtime, enjoying the sun, surf, and seafood, and making new memories.
