About this property

Hocking Hills Cabin comes with 3 "Wild Cats"...

Beautiful & quiet cabin sits on a township backroad along the banks of Salt Creek in the Hocking Hills State parks area. Ride bikes (provided for our guests), go fishing & swimming in the creek. Hike on the Thurston Hillside Farm, experience exciting shooting stars from high on the Flat! Bring your favorite grilling food and enjoy a fabulous meal straight from the Webber charcoal grill. We offer stacked firewood at your cabin, for a donation, so you can enjoy 'S'mores or more at the campfire ring. Enjoy the screened in front porch while you dine at the table or enjoy a nice sit on the porch swing.

This is a Cat Cabin! 3 cats live on property and in the cabin. If you're allergic or don't like cats, Wildcat Cabin is NOT for you. We have other free range animals on property, Lily my Golden and Roscoe Pops' Ole' Boy. Plus goats & chickens. There is NOT a hot tub, sorry.

Enjoy true country living in the Hills!

My Grandpa & Grandma Thurston moved to the SaltCreek Valley almost 100 years ago from Virginia and WV, like many Appalachians who moved to Ohio for jobs. My Father, Ronnie, owns the Farm now and is enjoying his retirement laughing at me and my "Projects"... His love for nature and saving the "Family Home Place" has rubbed off on his kids. We welcome folks to enjoy what we love about rural Ohio living. By offering the First Yurt in the State of Ohio, we've been hosting guests for over 20 years. We want to provide an affordable, family friendly, environmentally conscious approach to Hosting in the Hocking Hills. Sure there's the super luxury cabins with swimming pools and pickle ball courts etc. How many can boast have Mini A Frame and basic Dry camping cabins as well as a full service home/cabin with heat & AC...
