About this property

Charming cottage in the heart of Amish County

Our cozy 4 bedroom home will be the perfect getaway for families, couples or ladies getaways. We are located in the heart of Sugarcreek with easy access to restaurants, bakeries, shopping, wineries, entertainment and cheese.

There are 4 upstairs bedrooms (3 Queen beds, 2 twin beds, and 1 kids tent with twin mattress). Full bath upstairs, with shower and tub.

Downstairs we have a daybed and trundle, which can accommodate 2 people. This is helpful for those that do not feel comfortable walking up the steps. Downstairs full bath includes a shower only.

The large living area has plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy the 52" HD smart television with Hulu/Netflix accounts. High speed Wi-Fi is included. The fully renovated kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, fridge, coffee pot and toaster. Basic pots and pans, along with dishes are provided. The dining room can seat 6 people with plenty of room to eat in the living area also.

Nice patio with small tables and chairs and a fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs. Bring your own wood.

Small pets (under 40 lbs.) are welcomed for an additional fee. Please clean up after them outside.

The pictures were pretty accurate but for the money it could have been somewhat cleaner ( my daughter swept dust from under the tv stand), when we stripped the beds one pillow had blood spots on it and a couple other pillows were sweat stained.

The house was very clean. The host was accommodating. It was a great location for shopping, with many dining options nearby. The only thing that is worth mentioning is that it's not the best option for older individuals. It's an older home with narrow steps and the showers/tub is hard for older people to use. Besides that we had a great time! Great full kitchen. The living room and dining room were nice for socializing. It is a very good place to stay when in Amish Country.

I chose this property because I grew up nearby and my parents frequently visited Amish Country growing up. The area has so much charm and offers something for everyone.
