The Hammocks at Marathon is an awesome vacation experience! We are so fortunate to have the friendly attentive support staff who clean and maintain the condos and property. Thanks to our staff the pool continues to be inviting to our guests. Watching the palm trees and the local birds, that claim the bay waters as their home, encourage guests to relax and forget their worries.

Great location

Enjoyed our time there, property was as listed, other guests and staff were very friendly. Loved the tiki bar along the waterfront. Bed was very comfortable. Great location in the keys, would definitely recommend and stay there again.

1 Elevator was not working which was a little problem as long as you like to walk. Ammenties were good. Room was very clean had every thing you needed (like home).

Hammocks Marsthon

Site is conveniently located in center if keys making it easy to visit east or west. The staff was wonderful and helpful and the tili restaurant out back had friendly staff and good food.

The Hammocks is located in the Middle Keys giving our guests the opportunity to take day trips to Key West or east to Islamorada and Key Largo. Our guests are welcomed by friendly staff members who go beyond expectation to ensure a relaxing vacation. Barnacle Barney's Tiki Bar offers entertainment, good food, and fun people on property with a relaxing view of the bay and the pool. Overall, a very popular resort that couples and families enjoy!

Marathon

Property is clean. Unit was nice. Would have to look at listing again for information on "view" from balcony. Unit is on back side of building looking at a wall of trees. Other than that. Easy trip to Key West and back. Marthon is a great middle location

My husband and I live in Indiana and prefer to spend the cold winter grey days in the sunny warm Florida Keys. We discovered Marathon about 15 years ago and were attracted to the casualness of the area. Marathon is not a tourist trap, but a place to unwind and enjoy the sun. We love the staff at The Hammocks and the property itself. There are local restaurants which offer a variety of food. We have the Tiki bar on property or a great kitchen and outdoor grills if we want to stay in for meals.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy The Hammocks because it is not a large property, but still offers all of the amenities we prefer, such as the Tiki Bar, swimming pool, hot tub and located on the water. If you enjoy fishing, there are charter boats available at the marina which is located on property.
