The perfect choice for our short term getaway on the Cape

My wife Laura and I really enjoyed our stay at the Sandwich Resort & Lodge. Our room was just like the online photo, and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The daily hot breakfast including scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, toast/bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee/tea, juices, etc was also a very pleasant surprise ! The most interesting thing was that my wife and I realized that even with all of the improvements made over the years, this was the same property that we stayed at overnight while on our honeymoon at Cape Cod 47 years ago ! We would like to stay again the next time we visit the Cape !

Quick stop

Needed a place to stop on our way to Maine, on Cape Cod near the Tree House Brewing Sandwich location and this fit the bill. Clean room, all that was needed was there. Refrigerator was very cold, microwave worked, and slept through the night. Walking distance to the restaurant next door so had a good meal as well. Would stop again.

Not worth it

Once we checked out, kids went to the pool and we stayed to watch them. They told us that we have to leave the property and can’t stay or use the pool anymore. That’s a first, usually it’s ok to stay a bit after check out. Manager told us twice to leave and then charged me for another night without my permission.
