Located in the trendy St. Roch neighborhood, just four blocks from the French Quarter, it's a perfect New Orleans getaway.

The Space:
Step inside this beautifully renovated house, formerly an old warehouse, now a modern haven with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The heart of the home is the expansive great room, featuring ample counter space for meal preparation and high-end appliances. Gather around the ten-foot dining table, perfect for enjoying meals together. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with essential cookware. Relax in the living area, furnished with three comfortable sofas and a large flat-screen smart TV. Three of the five bedrooms offer the convenience of an en-suite bathroom. Rest well on high-end mattresses and enjoy plush linens in each bedroom. Step outside to the private patio, where you'll find an eight-person hot tub and outdoor furniture, ideal for unwinding and socializing.

Guest Access:

Bad location; Bad value

This property is in a sketchy neighborhood. The online listing deceptively indicates that it's near Frenchmen st/market area, but it's well up into the 7th Ward. The windows are frosted over/curtained for safety, which makes the place feel like a bunker, while the front door is flimsy and felt like it could easily be kicked in. There's a nearby biker club that roars up and down the street all night. The place is updated, which is why we chose it, but then there were issues like the hot tub being gross with unchanged water. Definitely not worth how much we paid. For this bad location the cost should be much less. The hosts are very nice and responsive.

We had some trouble with access, but the hosts were very responsive. We were accosted by 2 people asking for food/money, but otherwise a great spot.

Quite an adventure in New Orleans

Our stay was mostly good. House is beautiful. I wish there were more locks on the front and back door. There are a few repairs that need to be done in the house. The toilet in one of the rooms isn't secured down. There is a big hole in the wall in living room. Other than that, I think its a fun place for a family or group to stay. We sure appreciated the air condition and the huge kitchen!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I fell in love with this property and enjoyed renovating it. The renovations were complete in December 2021 and I am thrilled at how it turned out. It used to be an old warehouse and corner store that was abandoned for decades. I loved being able to bring it back to life and give it a whole new life!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

I can truely say there is only one place in the city like my Arts Warehouse.

The exterior has hand-painted murals from local New Orleans artists. The back patio is private, and includes tons of seating and a hot tub for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
