Pristine New Modern Bungalow At the Base of The National Forest; 1 Acre of land

Welcome to the Marmot! A New-Construction Modern Tiny House on an Acre of Land at the Base of National Forest. Literally walk to the lake, eateries, or the beautiful hike/bike trails to reservoirs, overlooks, and boulder fields. This 500 sf retreat has a quiet bedroom sporting a King bed, an adjoining bath with walk-in shower, washer/dryer and an open bright kitchen, dining and living room area. There's also a covered Patio with a grill to relax on and take in our spectacular starry nights. The Marmot is a perfect quiet retreat for two. Due to the home’s size, no more than three overnight guests, please. There is only one king bed and a third guest would need to bring a cot, blowup or sleep on the loveseat. Please inquire and request set-up before with us if you would like the travel crib provided or kids books/toys to be put out. Please check the pet fee line if bringing a pet so we can pay the cleaner for the extra cleaning time. Although rarely needed, during summer months only, a small room AC is available for $35/day. Please ask in advance if you'd like us to set that up. Thank you!

Super quiet, beautiful setting! I think I only saw one other person/neighbor over the 5 days I was there. Well appointed. Seamless interaction with the host throughout the stay. Really cozy too.

What an incredibly special place. The property is lovely, the house itself is so cute. It was clean, cozy, safe, walkable to the restaurants in town. The host is amazing. My dogs and I loved our stay here.

What a special little bungalow! We were in the area for a wedding, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The home was clean, cozy, inviting, and wonderfully peaceful.We loved the beautiful flowers surrounding the house, and one of our favorite things was watching the deer come by for a visit. We were also lucky enough to be there when the Palmer Lake Star was lit up, and seeing it shining just up the hill from the house was such a treat!Thank you for sharing your adorable little home with us. It was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the area, and we’re so glad we found it!

Very nice little cabin perfect for the two of us and our two pups. Plenty of yard to walk the dogs and the property is close to Colorado Springs and the Air Force Academy. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Great Stay!

Alyce was very welcoming and the house was cozy and perfect for a get away. It’s private and located within walking distance to Palmer Lake and the little shops!

So glad you enjoyed the space. We are close to national forest, shops, restaurants, grocery store but we are a bit further away from mainstream tourist attractions in Colorado Springs. Some of our guests have found the drive enjoyable and a part of their trip but we can see how the location isn’t for everyone. It is quieter and off the beaten path for sure!

It was an acre of land that overlooks the quaint town of Palmer Lake that boasts some amazing restaurants and bars. This little gem sits at the base of the famous Palmer Lake Star.
