About the property

Cabin, 5 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 5.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10-14)

Over 110 windows opens this cabin to the outdoors like no other cabin can.

A fully equipped puppet theater, 80' projection screen, surround sound by Bose, cookware by Calphalon, 5 full and 2 half baths. Custom hardwood installation including inlaid medallions throughout. Decks which tower into the treetops, overlooking the trout stream which runs through the center of Gatlinburg. In short, a no-expense-spared custom cabin in one of the most historic of Gatlinburg's neighborhoods. The 10' 18th century stained glass window is in the first hint that that this cabin is really special. Finished with cedar shake, stone & log corners, and log railing. The Queen of Gatlinburg combines the best of cabin and Arts & Crafts architecture.

Each bedroom is spacious, features a king size bed and has its own private and spacious bathroom with inlaid slate and tile, antique vanities and oversize custom showers. Two great rooms accommodate large groups, and include a slate pool table, Bose surround sound systems integrated with the 80 inch Projection TV and high quality furnishings. Amaze your younger crowd with the fully equipped custom puppet theater located behind the projection screen, or take them down the street to the river for fishing or swimming. We can assist with trout stamp/license information for the fishermen in your group. The river is stocked with trout once per week for the majority of the year. Adults will truly appreciate the spaciousness of all living areas.

At well over 4,000 sqft this lodge will never leave you feeling cramped with larger groups, and features three levels of decks with each bedroom having access to the deck. Aside from the huge stained glass church window, another 40 plus antique stained glass windows accent the interior and exterior walls and offers that old world charm. Other antiques fill out much of the décor, but with modern lodge-style furnishing for comfort. A close walk to downtown attractions, the Queen of Gatlinburg is convenient but privately situated above all other surrounding properties, literally towing into the treetops. This brand new, custom cabin offers the very best in Gatlinburg accommodations...sure to become a favorite for large family vacations, church retreats, and corporate getaways in the Smokies.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our visit was way more than we could have hoped for! I had researched, and agonized over dozens of cabins for our "Spring Fling"! W e had 2 families coming from Vermont and 2 from Florida. We were awestruck with the amenities! The game room way exceeded our kids needs. We didn't even know they were in the building. The bedrooms and private baths were a luxury. The INSTANT hot water spoiled us to the ninth degree. The ample parking space was wonderful.

The cabin was so well decorated and appointed, we didn't even know we were in a rental. The 3 levels made naps and music and movies in the screen room so private, we didn't even know we were all in one county.

One of the kids even loved the puppet theater so much, she made a private bedroom in the back of the theater.

On the 3rd day I called about us placing our overblown garbage somewhere else and within minutes, someone was there to remove it. We cooked and ate and visited and made so many memories...we will never forget what y'all made possible for us.

Again, thanks so much.

Wonderful cabin & location

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at the Queen of Gatlinburg & were impressed from the moment we drove into the driveway. The cabin was fully furnished & had the most comfortable beds. We loved that every room had it's own private bathroom. The location was absolutely perfect to downtown Gatlinburg! We plan to stay at this cabin the next time we return to Gatlinburg.

Perfect Cabin For A Perfect Vacation

  • 5 of 5

I don't have enough adjectives to describe this cabin. Great location. Easy access. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds. More than fully stocked kitchen. We had 13 in our group. Ages 71 yrs- 6 months. Everyone loved this cabin. My granddaughters said it should be named "The Gatlinburg Palace". We have vacationed in Gatlinburg for the past 13 summers. This was our best one yet. Wished I had discovered this cabin early on. Customer service from Twin Cedars Cabins was amazing. The heating element was out in our cook stove. I called office at 8:00am &within 2 hours & after 2 trips Jeremy, William1 & William 2 had a new range installed. Amazing... Last year the cabin we rented had a broken dishwasher when we arrived. We reported it to management (not TwinCedars or Jackson Homes) & they did not repair or replace it while we were there for a week. The Twin Cedars guys acted like they were HAPPY to replace the stove..You can't beat that kind of service..In summation, you can have a perfect vacation at The Queen of Gatlinburg!

Truly Fit For A Queen

  • 5 of 5

We found this cabin to be almost perfect. The size and amenities are great and were enjoyed by our whole group, from papa and nana down to the youngest 3-year-old grandchild. It is tricky to find the drive on the first trip up, so be aware. Also, we were under the impression it would be away in the mountains but, in fact, the main Gatlinburg highway is both visible and audible from the decks, with the accompanying hawking of wares from some of the local tourist traps. This does not reflect on the cabin, however, which is grand in every way and would be perfect if it were tucked away in the mountains. Our little ones enjoyed the puppet theater, and we enjoyed watching the shows created there. The hot tub got daily use by many of our group. Be aware that the door to the washer/dryer closet should be kept open a bit when in use, as the heat really builds up inside and causes the alarm to go off. It is really too bad that the people of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge put so much more emphasis on hawking carnival atmosphere type activities instead of focusing on the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains. We were disappointed in this aspect of our stay but, once again, the cabin was not at all at fault for this and was a great retreat.

Where do you live?

I want to live in the queen of gatlinburg!!!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

One of my favorite Gatlinburg cabins. I have stayed here with 4 people and I have been here with over 20 people counting kids!!! Regardless of how many people it is spacious and private either way!!! With 3 decks, 3 stories and 5 master suites you can be with people or be alone!! Beautiful rockers and swings await you on the decks! Located just off gatlinburg parkway it is convenient but yet private. I have slept in4 of the 5 master bedroom bathroom suites and still can't decide if I have a favorite bedroom!!! I love them all!!! Beds are incredible comfortable!! You can never go wrong with the Queen!!!!

Wonderful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We don't have a bad thing to say about this cabin. We had a group of ten people (three little kids) and we all found something we loved in this cabin. The little ones loved the puppet theater and the adults and kids both loved the movie theater and hot tub. We all had plenty of room to spread out and get some privacy too. We will definitely be back and are already talking about when we can go next year. Best vacation I've ever had. Thanks so much!!

great cabin with large dining table

  • 5 of 5

The accommodations were fantastic , very clean and the service was great. We all loved the theater seating watching our favorite movies, playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The kids had a blast with the puppet theater, The best thing was the very large table in the dining room so we could all sit down together for meals, games etc...we have raved about this place to all of our friends and hope to return soon.
