This home is loaded with all the amenities and luxuries you want for a relaxing, enjoyable stay. You'll also find everything you need to cook a great meal, entertain the kids, relax with the family for movie night or explore all the top attractions from the best location in the smokies! Many of the cabins in the smokies are up high on or near cliffs. Our cabin is easy to get to and has a yard which allows the kids to roam outside more freely and letting the adults relax!

Lovely stay

A lot of room to spread out. Kids were quite entertained. The hot tub works but was a bit dirty and the cover is kind of a pain. But we had everything we needed wish just there was a king bed upstairs.

Beautiful Property!

We had a wonderful stay here! The property was beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time outside! The home as very clean and worked well for our large family with lots of kids.

Wonderful experience

We really enjoyed the seclusion of the house, but close proximity to the tourist traps. The house and property were very clean and comfortable. The kids had a blast in the pool and with the games. Even with 14 people, we never felt cramped. Thanks for having us and making our first rental experience with friends so positive!

Perfect mini family vacation

I’d like to start off with saying Communication with the owners was top tier. I’ve never had an owner reply back so quickly. I was impressed to say the least. The location was very easy to find. We were tucked away in a private area with ample space for the littles to run around and play without worry. The house itself was very warm and inviting;It felt like a home away from home. The kids loved it even the teenager and that says a lot. All of the younger group stayed downstairs allowing the hubby and I to have upstairs to ourselves. There were 11 of us in total and we still had an empty bedroom upstairs across the hall This home is spacious. We found firewood at a local gas station for the fire pit and enjoyed s’mores and roasting hotdogs. The swim spa was a big hit and we even pulled out our projector and enjoyed movie night outside. I loved the kitchen, it had everything we needed. We weren’t far from attractions at all. There were so many things we liked about this place. I can’t imagine my review will do it justice. If you’re looking for a spacious, warm inviting home, with a kid friendly setting , nice Mountain View’s, huge jacuzzi (swim spa) fully stocked kitchen, well-kept , easy to reach friendly owners, as well as peaceful place then this is the spot for you! We’re definitely going back!

Weekend getaway

Amazing weekend getaway for us and our kiddos. They had a blast on the property. There is a lot to do there as well as in town. Perfect for some relaxation time as well. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Best cabin we have ever rented

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, well-stocked, and we had plenty of room for everyone. Lots of extras too, such as bug spray, bubbles for the kids, extra blankets. We would definitely stay here again. If I had to say one thing on the negative side it would be the hot tub and porches could be cleaner. The porches are great, but we would have to clean off a chair before we could sit on it. They had not been swept or cleaned in quite a while. The hot tub had lots of dirt, debris in it as soon as we took the top off. It's a great hot tub, just didn't expect to have to clean it out before we could use it. We also enjoyed the fire pit and amazing mountain view. A beautiful home!

Great family location with awesome spa hot tub!

Our family had great quality time together, 3 grandsons, parents and grandparents. Spa tub was a hit and we enjoyed Jenga and board games before bed. Plenty of room and close to attractions. Would stay again.

Quiet & Convenient

We stayed here in March and had a wonderful time! I loved everything about this home. It’s quietly nestled in a neighborhood with great views of the dwindling mountains. It is not high in the mountains like I normally book, but it was perfect because e didn’t have to worry about the kids wandering off or falling down hills. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of games for the kids. 12 person spa was a commodity. Plenty of seating around the fire pit for s’mores! The best part was the communication with the owners. We had realized shortly after leaving we had left some of the kids medicines and they were able to unlock it for us to go back in. Highly recommend this place. May have to book again in the future!

Family Getaway

Our stay was so enjoyable! The cabin was very clean, and had everything you’d need! The teens loved the pool table and swim spa, along with my 6 year old. We had more than enough room as well. I absolutely loved the location…easy drive to pigeon forge or Townsend, and the views are lovely! If you’re looking for a spacious, well maintained place, this is it!

Wonderful!

Our stay was amazing. My only regret was that we didn't stay longer. The location was perfect. The views were even better. My family of 11 stayed here comfortably and never once felt cramped. Kids loved the pool table and game console. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. We were there during Christmas and I loved that there was a christmas tree and a record player with christmas albums. There was so many things that we loved about this trip and cannot wait to get back. We did have an issue with the internet and the host was quick to respond and help. Absolutely 5 stars!

This place brought us so much peace. The way it was nestled in the woods, simply decorated, the mountain view, and quiet. Loved everything about this place. It had everything needed for a family stay.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family of six adults and three children (7-11) enjoyed our stay at Wears Modern! Loved all of it, but we really loved the outdoors space. The outdoor space was the final deciding factor of choosing Wears Modern. The fire pit was a big hit. Kids loved searching for sticks and the pool/spa also. Jen and Ross were so easy to communicate with, responding quickly to a few inquiries. Would stay here again, and recommend Wears Modern.

Family Reunion

12 total stayed at this location from under 2 up to 76yrs. It was a great place to stay and included everything mentioned plus more. There was plenty of room for all of us and enough space if we needed some quiet time. We enjoyed the views. Both the front and back porches. The pool table and game console. It was great to have the extra TVs when it was wind down time. The kitchen had everything required to cook. Only suggestion I would add a large frying pan or griddle to the set for cooking. There are several smaller ones but to cook for larger groups would have been nice. We had a blast playing the provided bingo game! I highly recommend this location as it is close enough to everything but far enough away from all the traffic and tourist stuff. Recommend Goats on the Roof coaster and golf. We had a splendid time and would definitely stay here again! The owners were very quick to respond to any and all questions. Within less than 5 minutes. If this is on your list of places to stay definitely stay here!!!!

50th Anniversary trip

Group of 12 stayed to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Downstairs was a great space for the kids. We enjoyed coming back to the fire pit in the evenings after exploring Pigeon Forge or Townsend.

Absolutely perfect!

We met up with family friends to enjoy a few days in the mountains. Wears Modern was absolutely perfect for our group. We had 4 adults and 5 kids-ranging from age 11-15. The grown ups stayed in the upstairs bedrooms and the kids had their own hang out downstairs. Worked out great that they could play pool, arcade games and watch movies if they wanted, without their “lame” parents. LOL Everyone in the group enjoyed the hot tub, and I feel one of the best parts of the property was the outdoor space. We used the fire pit every night, making s’mores and just hanging out. There was enough actual yard for the kids to throw the football around or bump the volleyball. A lot of properties you really just get a house, but no useable outdoor space. I feel the yard alone pushes Wears Modern ahead of all other properties. We had a couple random questions through our stay and Jen & Russ got back with me immediately. I couldn’t have asked for a better response time. The location is great for all the area has to offer, we hiked in the national park, hit the outlets for shopping, went to Dollywood and more, and never had more than a half hour drive. We also liked that we could go into all the hustle & bustle in town, but the house was actually out in the quiet country. 10 out of 10!!!!

We love Eastern TN and have family in the area. This property stood out as it gave us the secluded feel as well as a view and a yard for our family to have fun in. Hard to find all of that in the Smokies! We also love interior design and found this cabin to be a blank canvas allowing us to make it a unique mountain experience.

You will find a lot of cabins with smaller hot tubs, we have a giant swim spa! This allows the whole group to get in and relax together. It also allows for the young ones to play in the fountain and swim during the day. You'll also find lots of cabins with plaid and black bear decor. We wanted to offer a cabin with updated mountain decor to create an open airy feel creating a unique experience in the area!
