This amazing two bedroom apartment can accommodate up to 7 people and it is located on the top floor of an early 1900 6-story building with elevator.

A private external charming roof terrace on the above floor is accessible to our guests only: enjoy a glass of wine, a cappuccino in the morning or a meal in the evening while looking out over the Colosseum, the Vatican Dome, the Vittoriano (Wedding Cake), the Roman rooftops and other monuments! Only the guests of the listing 279021 can access the terrace that is NOT shared with anyone else. ONLY YOU!

This Rome Colosseum apartment is located very close to the most important monument of Rome: the Flavian Amphitheater also known as the Colosseum, one of the 7 Wonders of the World. The flat is in the heart of the Ancient Rome a few steps far from other important sites: the Nero's Domus Aurea, the Roman Forums, the Saint Mary Major Basilica, the Basilica of Saint Clement and the Saint Peter in Chains Church with the amazing Michelangelo's Moses statue. The apartment can welcome up to 7 people. It is made up of a living room with a sofa that can be split into 2 beds, 2 bedrooms with king size bed (one of them can be split into 2 single), 2 full bathrooms with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has been recently restored and nicely decorated. Plenty of hot water for your showers!

The home's position is incredible: 300 m. from the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and from the beautiful Colle Oppio Park. You can easily reach the other areas of the historical centre on foot or by bus and tram that conveniently stop in front of our building. If you prefer you can take the Metro/underground (line A and B) at the nearby stops of 'Manzoni' or 'Colosseo'. The apartment is located not far from the central train station (10 minutes by taxi or by bus/metro) and from the airport (45 minutes by taxi, 90 by train). Combined with 4 apartments in the opposite building, a party of 28/30 people can be accommodated. All of the above are important ingredients that make for unforgettable Roman Holiday...

The Holiday Home Colosseum Great Beauty Terrace is located on a 6th floor of a building with elevator, in the ancient and characteristic Rione Monti.

Upon your arrival you will receive a map of the city and useful information on the city sights, shops and restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias, wine-bars and groceries in the area. The apartment has a well supplied bookshelf at your disposition containing tourist and archaeological guide books in various languages and our staff is always on hand to help and suggest touristic itineraries.

Amazing terrace and view

The apartment is lovely and we spent every evening picnic-ing on the terrace admiring the view. Paolo the host was very welcoming and had thought of everything including arranging pick up at airport, luggage storage at the end and lovely restaurant recommendation. Staying here absolutely made our long weekend in Rome.

Brilliant stay

Clean, quiet, comfortable with a fantastic terrace and view. Easy walk to everywhere and Monti is a nice area with lots of restaurants. Host Paolo friendly and super helpful. He booked tables for us. Arranged airport transfers and stored our luggage. He is always just a message or call away.

Lovely apartment and location

Great place to stay, we loved the apartment and neighbourhood. Fabulous roof terrace and view. Showers a bit temperamental but this didn’t really detract from our overall experience. Paulo was very helpful and recommended some great places to eat nearby. We would definitely return.

Great apartment!

The Apartment was in a great location just down the road from the colosseum and multiple metro stops. It was very easy to commute to anywhere in the city either by walking or using metro and bus. The actual apartment was incredibly clean and comfortable to stay in with a lovely terrace that we used every day without doubt. The apartment building also felt very safe as it had a court yard that was locked at night that could only be accessed with the residence keys.

A real taste of Italy!

Wonderful location, a stone's throw away from the Colosseum. Reception and help throughout our stay from Paolo was invaluable. Apartment is clean, fresh with all the amenities needed for a family. Highly recommended and hopefully we visit again soon. Thank you for everything Paolo.

Spacious apartment with spectacular views.

The apartment is large, comfortably furnished and extremely well equipped. Paolo called in as we arrived, suggesting interesting places to visit, which was very helpful. We spent late evening every day on the roof terrace, enjoying the spectacular view of the Colosseum and St. Peter's. We would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting to visit this wonderful city.

Wow! What a place to stay!

The key thing for us when choosing this property was its location and - even better! - the view from the private terrace. It really is like in the picture. The apartment is 10 minutes gentle walk to the Colosseum, another 5 to the Forum, half an hour to Trevi. Breakfast on the terrace every morning overlooking the Colosseum, the "Wedding Cake" in the background and St Peter's Basilica clearly visible in the distance - wonderful! Evening sunsets pretty spectacular too. The apartment itself is not "boutique" but its pretty good - clean, spacious, well maintained and well equipped. The two bedrooms (one double, one twin) had plenty of space and the beds were extremely comfortable - probably the best we've slept in on various city breaks and holidays. The kitchen and bathroom would benefit from a little tender loving care, but the overall impression is great. Special mention for Paulo. The information he sent us in advance was really useful and on arrival he provided us with more useful information about places to visit and good places to eat (there's loads of them within a 10 minute walk, from decent restaurants to cheap and cheerful pizzarias and an excellent gelateria). We booked taxis to and from the airport through him and they arrived when expected. He can also book tours and trips, although we'd sorted ours out independently in advance. A very nice and helpful man, keen to help his guests get the best out of their visit to Rome. If we ever go back to Rome, this is the first place we'd check for availability. A great place for families.

Apartment is in a great location and the rooftop views and sunsets are unbelievable

This apartment and the very friendly manner which Paolo has, made our first trip to Rome absolutely fantastic and one we will never forget. He advised on the best places to eat and shop locally and we were delighted with the places we visited. Paola booked a trip to the Vatican and arranged for a taxi to take us there as well. His apartment was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed five amazing sunsets from the balcony. Will definitely recommend to friends and family that they should stay in this apartment

The property is in an old building but the apartment has updated amenities such as kitchen and bathrooms. Be prepared for a small elevator but it works. The neighborhood is safe and nice grocery store across the street. Restaurants within 4 minute walk and most overlook the Colosseum. The host Paolo is wonderful. The best is the private terrace. View is amazing.

Close to everything but away from the crowds

We had a wonderful experience at this property. It fit our needs very well for a family of four staying a week in Rome. The terrace access really takes this place over the top. Much better value than staying at a hotel. The owner was great at check in and helped us throughout the week with various needs.

Rome visit - Amazing view and Location

The location and view were both outstanding, Walking distance to Colosseum and dozens of restaurants. Grocery store across the street. Colosseum, Vatican and Altare Della patria all visible from rooftop patio. Host was very thorough at check-in and offered a number of suggestions, which were great. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

The Best Vrbo in Rome

Paolo was the best host I have encountered in my many Vrbo rentals. Paradise In Rome

This property is as beautiful as it appears in the photos. The patio view is stunning. We started our days with breakfast on the patio, and ended with wine at night. The apartment is safe in a secure building, spacious, clean, modern, and quiet. The kitchen is modern and the washer dryer a great convenience. It is located minutes in walking distance from the metro bus and subway lines. Paolo, the property owner was always available to answer our Rome questions. We rented the apartment for the month of October and loved the warm charm everyday. We would highly recommend this property as the "Best of the Best" in Rome.

Paolo was so helpful and such a great host. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. We were in walking distance to the Coleseum and many great restaurants. The property is conveniently located at the east entrance of the Coliseum. The rooms were amble comfortably for 4 people. The access to the roof top is a nice addition, i ljust wish the lights had work. The hoat commuication was spot on.

Paolo was amazing start to finish. Responded to everything. Recently renovated apartment was lovely. Everything you need. Supermarket across the road and larger supermarket a couple of blocks away. If you’re reading this review, looking for an incredible Rome Apartment with a GREAT location and this property is available for your dates… STOP! Book this apartment right now, then come back to finish reading this review!  Our family spent 10-days at this lovely property and Paolo’s apartment checks every box for the discerning traveler. Situated within walking distance or a short taxi from almost every site you’d want to see in Rome, we couldn’t have picked a better location. The neighborhood was safe, the local restaurants were amazing and affordable and the grocery store just across the street covers all your needs if you want to cook for yourself, or simply grab a bottle of vino for enjoying the amazing sunset view from your private balcony. Your host, Paolo is incredibly kind, caring and helpful! Not only did he answer our texts when we had questions or wanted suggestions, he also helped us book a roof-top restaurant where we celebrated our wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived at the airport until we departed, Paulo was there assisting us in any way he could. 10 star rating and exceptional is not high enough for this property. Great apartment with great location and view

The owner met us at the front gate and showed us how to access the apartment and all amenities. He even helped with our luggage. The apartment is on the top floor with private roof access with an amazing sunset view of Colosseum, the Vittoriano and St. Peter's Dome.

We started out our trip in Rome Rental Apartments with Paolo. At the last minute, he was able to provide us with our accommodations and always available to answer all our questions with pleasure. We started our trip with a good attitude because of Paulo’s hospitality. It is almost like visiting a friend we’ve known for a long time. He was flexible and understanding with all our needs. Pls. Go up to the terrace at night if you have time and enjoy the Colosseum view from the rooftop. I will use Rome Apartment Rentals again! By the way, the tram or buses is very accessible to use.
