Hi Tonya, We are so glad to hear that your overall stay was great! Walking distance can be subjective depending on how far someone is able or willing to walk. It is a little less than a mile away from town which is why we considered it a walk-able distance for those wishing to walk about town. We truly appreciate your feedback and enjoyed hosting you! Come back soon (: Thank you so much, Grand Mountain Rentals

Hi Andrea, We are so glad that overall, it sounds like you enjoyed your stay and are certainly very sorry if there was any confusion; this home is not advertised as having a lakeview or baby equipment. Hi Nathan! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. We have ordered a new propane line for the grill and will have installed as soon as it arrives. Unfortunately, with our remote location replacements can take a bit longer to get to us. We wish there was a bed type to make everyone happy but we thank you for feedback. We hope you come back again!

Hi Denise, We are happy to hear that your stay was everything you wanted for Constitution week. We will let the owners know that you loved your stay. Please come back and visit with us again! Thank you.

Hi David, We would have loved an opportunity to address your maintenance concerns, such as the off-track shower door, during your stay. We take pride in being close enough to our properties that we can swiftly handle most minor inconveniences. Should you choose to book with us again in the future, feel free to contact us regarding these things. Overall we're glad you had a great time and hope you come back to Grand Lake soon. - Grand Mountain Rentals

Hi Katherine, Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like mountain vacations might just not be for you, as many of your complaints are quite common in rural mountain communities. This would include being bear aware and disposing of trash properly in a dumpster to keep our community and bears safe, no AC, windows open at night, etc. We are happy to look into new pots and pan but the garage certainly was not advertised as an amenity, therefore that expectation is a little odd. We are unsure about the comments made regarding the early check-in as we certainly try our best to get folks in early when possible. We do actively visit properties during the day, so it's possible we were just out and about when you stopped by, our apologies if you felt waiting for a call back was unacceptable. We wish you the best in finding travel destinations that better suit your expectations in the future. - Grand Moutain Rentals

Hi Barbara, Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the home's updated interior and cleanliness. Some aspects of a stay, such as mattress comfort, can be subjective and vary from guest to guest. We also note that the heart of downtown Grand Lake is located less than half a mile from the home, though individual preferences regarding walkability may differ. For clarification, the deck is accessible from both the primary bedroom and the exterior staircase, as shown in the listing photos. Guests are provided access to our complimentary bear-proof dumpster located just a few minutes from the property. We do not direct guests to the pay per throw trash disposal services offered in town. Thank you for staying with us - Grand Mountain Rentals
