Thank You For Choosing Our Home, It Was A Pleasure To Host You And Your Group!! And Most Importantly, We Welcome You Again In The Very Near Future!!

Thanks for your stay ahd your feedback. We look forward to hosting you again. Wish we would have known about the towels. There are plenty of beach towels and bath towels in the Landry cabinets. The days you stayed were over 106 degrees but we have never had any complaints on air due to the fact we have two separate units for the loft. Maybe you guys just used one because they have separate remotes. The house is on private lakefront property with Lakeview. The path to the lake is right out front and totally private so it’s definitely lakefront unless you only call it lakefront if it is touching the water which this lake doesn’t do. The water level is also a little low due to the extreme heat this summer.

This review couldn’t be further from the truth. This is a wooded lake area and there are bugs BUT if guests keep the doors closed there are no bugs that come in the house. The problem is when people who have never spent time in the woods or on a lake like this guest they leave the doors open or their children leave doors open and bugs can come inside. We have commercial pest service that comes every month and treats the inside and outside of this home. It is treated monthly rather than a typical normal quarterly pest control. The HOUSE IS ALWAYS clean. The house is never dirty but there are dirt paths around the property and people can track dirt into the home but it is ALWAYS clean when guests arrive. We also have 4 AIR CONDITIONING UNITS in a house that is less than 1,000 sq ft. It is more than enough to keep the place cool even on our hot summer days. This group was large and over our capacity limit and did not mention ANY of these issues until after checkout when they asked for a refund. This review is not indicative of ANY OF OIR HOMES that we own or manage. Just look at the other reviews.

Definitely some confusion from our part as hosts. One of the neighboring houses was having the roof done after a bad hail storm so there were workers present but it wasn’t at the house you rented. We cannot control when other houses have work done on them. Also the kayaks and water toys are down by the lake and are impossible to miss. People use them every time they stay here. If you had asked us we could have shown them to you. Also we had no knowledge about the stray dog until we read it in your review. We could have also done something about that. I guess the biggest issue from our side is that none of these issues were mentioned during your stay or we would have been able to help. We pride ourselves on great experiences and reviews and are confident that other guests won’t have these issues or if they do we can address them during the stay.
