Charming property

Property just liked the description, spacious home, peaceful to wakeup to the lake. The property is gated but is shared with 2 other homes, so that was the only surprise, we didnt spend muxh time at the lake due to being in town for some other commitments, so we didnt get to enjoy the amenities provided & the other guest on property had lake to themselves as we were gone all day so it worked out, that we were out of each others way. Overall very peaceful, Relaxing environment & lovely home.

Long Weekend Get Away

We very much enjoyed this property. Comes with many amenities to make a get away easy and comfortable. Felt like home, not an empty house with cheap furniture. Kitchen has everything you need. Bathrooms are great. Showers only, no tub might be a drawback for some. Web site shows a working fireplace that would have been noice on our cold, football weekend but the fireplace has been closed off and is no longer usable,

Property was nice but getting to the Property was unfortunately a sore eye. Dirt road and unclean Properties around it. Nothing like passing 50 junk cars.

Great for outdoorsy people

Everything was good except the bugs.. would be nice to put up Bug Zappers by the front and sliding doors, or get the bug lights.. Bugs were a menace.. And fix the septic problem outside.. I would absolutely recommend the home if those were in place.. Had a great time tho. Thank you

A Little Bit of Heaven

This property offers a lot of amenities like available paddle boards and kayaks, extra towels, special toiletries, kitchenware (with the exception of forks(more needed). One very small problem (literally) was a live mouse in a kitchen drawer. We were there experiencing the solar eclipse and it was a special time. We would gladly go back.

LITTLE ELM HEAVEN

Seriously. I cannot brag enough about Kim (property manager) and all the beautiful cabins she has out there! We stayed in the largest accommodating cabin, but they were each beautiful inside and out. (I had a tour of almost all of them) We stayed for one week due to our floors having to be replaced. It's a hidden gem in the middle of the woods. It's gated. The fishing is great. (bass, drum and catfish mostly) It's easily accessible to Denton, Little Elm and Frisco. It's quiet considering the traffic, sounds like white noise by the water. We spotted a bald eagle three times during the week (we believe he possibly stays in the brush close to the bridge.) The beds were comfortable. Everything was so nice and clean. Entirely stocked kitchen, bath and laundry rooms with all organic products. It was too cold to enjoy the water or the kayaks but we enjoyed sitting by the fire, night fishing and sitting in the hot tub at night. We will be back for summer time, 10/10.

Puts and takes

Very questionable, almost scary neighborhood. Nice home directly on the lake, but heavily influenced by noise from the bridge. Bedrooms are nicely furnished and beds are comfortable. Property sleeps 8-9 comfortably. However, dining room has 8 seats, living room 6. The house is a lot smaller than it appears in the pictures. Shared hot top was old and cloudy. Nobody wanted to go in. When we arrived, neighbors had parked 3 cars in our designated driveway, right in front of our rented house. Took some effort to find the drivers and have them remove their cars.

Hidden Cameras Watching You

I've rented many times from VRBO, and have never left a bad review. With that said, my family came into town for a funeral for my sister and thought this would be a nice setting to reminisce. Instead the rudeness of the owner destroyed our peace and our stay. The house only sleeps nine and two of the bathooms had no doors or shower doors??? The water only gets luke warm in two bathrooms, several family members couldn't take showers. Unprofessional owner went ballistic about parking, could have solved the problem in a civilized manner, but chose to embarrass me in front of my family by yelling on the loud speaker. Be aware that there are surveillance cameras and speakers installed, you have no privacy-you are being watched. There is also broken piece of flooring on the stairs, which is a trip hazard.

ZEN stay for Mid-through CHEMO therapy

pretty and peaceful, needed some zen and it fit the bill. bedrooms nicely decorated right on the lake. Plenty of space for our group of 7, the deck was lovely. We even ordered pizza for the kido's so within practical favorite food places. It was so peaceful we even took a nap. A little chilly, so the fire pit was nice to have. The smell of raw sewage was a draw back, and the prior neighbors left a bit of a mess, not our drink that spilled in the jacuzzi. So we felt bad that the "shared" space we were implicated with the debri they left. My daughter has cancer and not feeling well so we got back home, over all a quiet space; even though close proximity to other rentals didn't pose any issue. We got a pass for our fur baby and my daughter got to enjoy some much needed serenity. The home was well appointed, if we missed a towel we are sorry! Yes, I do recommend the home - probably summer time you get more bang for your buck all the lake toys!! The views are a million bucks - so worth it.

Fantastic

My children (3) and their spouses and 3 grandchildren were celebrating my son's 40th birthday. I live about 15 minutes from the lake house (as we called it) but I did not have enough room for everyone. There was also uncles, aunts, grandparents and cousins all coming in for the event. Several stayed at my house and I put some in hotel rooms. I wanted my children to all be in the same house so they could talk and enjoy each other. My husband died last year. We are a blended family - but we do not act like it. They had a lot of laughs, a lot of tears and formed a lot of memories. The house is beautiful. They all said the mattresses were the best they had ever slept on. The bedding is all Ralph Lauren. The kitchen is completely stocked. There is a beautiful living room with enough seating for everyone. The dining room table is big and beautiful. The deck is fantastic. We had planned on using the grill but did not. The view cannot be more exciting. The sunset, the bridge, the lake - WOW. I thank the owners so much for working with me. I had never booked a house before and made a few mistakes. They were patient and helpful. Thank you so much for a great week. We went to the Dallas Rainforest Aquarium, the stockyards and watched the cattle drive, we did indoor skydiving, the Illusion Museum, had the party at the Main Event and went to many fantastic restaurants. So many laughs and memorable events. I know my husband was with us every moment. In my truck - not the rental cars - the radio kept changing channels on its own when all of his kids were in it. It kept playing his favorite songs. The kids actually videoed the radio changing channels on its own. Thank you so very much. We needed this family time. We are thinking about booking the house again for my mom's 80th. The only complaint the kids had was no doors on the bathroom. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR HOME.

Close to Frisco, Little Elm, Denton, Prosper, and Celina. Shopping and Dining are very close. Close to The Cowboys Star in Frisco and To The Shops at Legacy on the Frisco BILLION DOLLAR MILE.

Please Note:
We have security cameras on the exterior of the house to monitor occupancy levels and parking violations that are enforced by the city which our houses are located in. These are city laws concerning occupancy and parking limitations and we must enforce these laws so the cameras record 24/7.
