Immaculately renovated and unbelievably charming, Cottontail Cottage is the mountain getaway of your dreams. Located just 5 miles from downtown Asheville and Biltmore Village and walkable to the iconic Mountains-to-Sea Trail along the Blue Ridge Parkway, this cottage is perfectly situated for visitors looking to explore the many wonders of Western North Carolina.

Cottontail Cottage's entire house makeover includes a completely renovated and updated kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, a chic, stylish living area with a Smart TV, two modern and luxe bathrooms, hardwood flooring throughout, a centrally heated and cooled basement complete with a ping pong table, and a beautifully landscaped fenced-in back yard complete with a fire pit and private deck.

Travelers needing to work remotely during their stay will also have access to high-speed internet with speeds starting at 200 Mbps. Cable TV and streaming options like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime are also available for guests to log in to. The trendy and tranquil setting of Cottontail Cottage makes it a postcard-perfect destination for families, friends, and frequent travelers!

House Layout:
Main Level- Open floor plan; Living area with new furniture and a Smart TV (streaming and cable available); Dining area with seating for up to 6; Updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a gas range stove, a dishwasher, and a standard and French press coffee maker; Owner's suite with a king bed and en suite bathroom (walk-in shower only); Bedroom with queen bed; Full hall bathroom with a shower/tub combo; Bedroom with 2 twin beds.
Lower Level- Heated and cooled basement with a ping pong table and a washer/dryer; single-car garage.
Outdoors- Back deck with a gas grill and outdoor dining table with seating for 6; Fenced-in backyard with an outdoor fire pit. The parking area allows space for 3-4 small cars.

Please note: This house is dog-friendly, with a $100.00 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of two). Sorry, this home is not cat-friendly due to common allergies.

We stayed for a week at Cottontail Cottage during Christmas. We were very pleased with the rental. The host responded quickly to the booking request. The house was clean and well-organized. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and dining in. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and bedding. The fenced-in yard was a massive bonus for our two dogs. The ping-pong table was a lot of fun and a great way to wind down after exploring Asheville. The house is centrally located; everything you need is within 5-20 minutes away. This is our new go-to place when we stay in Asheville.

Close to everything

This house was perfect as it was close to the soccer park we had a lacrosse tournament at as well as downtown. Great hidden gem!

Great Asheville Neighborhood

We really loved the convenient location of this cottage. It was easy to get to all the attractions in Asheville. Nice area for walking and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was comfortable and immaculately clean.

Great stay with family and the pups

Plenty of room for five adults, one child and two dogs. The kitchen was well stocked, and the house was very clean. The fenced in area was great for our pets. Great location if you are looking at staying outside the downtown area.

Cottontail Cottage a gem

Cottontail Cottage was excellent. Very comfortable, great beds & bathrooms, and a nice kitchen. The backyard is quaint. It is conveniently located to downtown Asheville and to many hiking options. We will be back!

Fantastic Host!

We had an amazing 6 night stay at the Cottontail Cottage! The home had all the amenities a family needs and extras like games, books for kids, a great selection of kitchen equipment. They even had supplies to make a fire on the fire pit and dog bowls for our pup. The home was extremely clean and well cared for. We had an outstanding stay!

Great place to stay

Spent a week in Asheville with my wife recently - great house. Extremely clean, great features and well taken care of. We both worked remotely for the week and had no problems with internet, etc. Meanwhile the house was extremely convenient to nearly all of Asheville to enjoy the city. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area.

We got this rental for the days before our wedding. The place was very clean and our dog had to come at the last minute. The rental company was very accommodating and easy to work with.

Clean, Cozy and Sweet

Great place to stay while visiting Asheville, NC! Simple but beautiful design, great place that’s close enough to downtown - about 8-10 car ride in. Great communication with management. And bonus there’s ping-pong table in the basement with all the things you’d need. We loved this space and look forward to visiting again!

spring break with college aged children

The house is excellent. Warm, inviting and clean. The location is right off the highway but in a wooded neighborhood so it felt very accessible but also away from the hub bub. We brought our dog, the yard was perfect for him. Kitchen has everything you need and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend!

Great stay close to downtown

This is a great home! We were impressed with how clean and clutter-free the property was and with the clear (and concise) check-in/check-out directions from the property management company. There were ample towels and supplies, and the bed was comfortable. This house is also nicely situated in a quiet area, but very easily accessible to the downtown and Biltmore. We were able to easily return to check on our pets throughout the day without having to do a lot of driving. We also appreciated the updated shower, appliances, etc. and the decor. We will definitely look to stay here again!

Such a special place

We absolutely loved the cottontail cottage! The owners really paid attention to every detail. Everything we needed was at this house. It was clean, decorated super cute and in a great location. You’re about 10 min from everything! This house will always be special to us, because we got married during this stay! Our 10 month baby stayed with us here also and other than the stairs leading to the basement, it was pretty much baby proof (we did have to move a few things off the ground, but overall not bad!). We brought a gate for the stairs and it was fine. Definitely think about bringing one if you have little ones. We were so sad to leave this house, and really can’t wait to return 😊

great location

Very nice, updated home. Close to downtown Ashville and one and half hour from Sugar and Beech ski areas. Pretty drive. Biltmore 10 minutes away. Another tip Biltmore buy your passes for the day and then convert that day to a season pass for the difference you paid for the ticket. The rest of your trip you can go back to the Biltmore at no extra charge and use visit their restaurants and free wine tasting. Use their hiking trails and visit and other venues. All other Hiking trails all close to this rental. The ping pong table was great fun. One thing I did not take into consideration was the stairs entering the house. I have a senior dog; she could not make the trip up the steps. But there is another option take the side gate by the fire pit area and go to the back door. The fenced yard is perfect for the fur children. Also, another tip unload your gear thru the garage entry to the basement the steps inside the house are much easier to handle. Another fun event is the pinball museum downtown entry fee you play all day. Overall, a wonderful visit.
