Details: Sandy Butts is a beautiful 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home that sleeps 8 in the highly desirable North Cape San Blas area—100 yards from the beach. Conveniently located on the 8.7-mile walking/biking path, guests can explore from Salinas Park to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. With a sizeable outdoor space for entertaining, guests will love the private pool, outdoor shower, alfresco dining tables, and fish cleaning station.

Perfectly mixing comfort and luxury, all 3 restful bedrooms are located on the first floor of this gorgeous retreat—1 primary bedroom with a private bathroom, 1 guest bedroom with a king bed, and 1 guest room with queen bed. Both the primary and guest bedroom enjoys access to the covered front deck with a custom-built swing bed to enjoy the breeze. From here, guests can walk to the spacious side patio with a private pool and plenty of outdoor seating, including Adirondack chairs, 2 loungers, and a colorful cement table and bench set. The outside of this home also features an outdoor shower to wash off sandy feet after walking home from the beach at the end of the street.

Natural lighting streams in from the numerous windows on the second-floor great room as the open layout blends the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The queen sleeper sofa and 3 armchairs in the living area provide ample seating for friends and family to socialize and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing home-cooked meals and features a 4-burner glass cooktop and a side-by-side refrigerator. The breakfast bar seats 3, while the traditional dining table can comfortably seat up to 6 guests. This expansive great room also provides access to the second-floor balcony, where guests can use the propane grill to make dinner before dining outside with seating for 6.

Beautiful beach house

Wonderful beach stay

We really enjoyed this property and location. The windows let in so much beautiful, natural light, and home layout was perfect for our family. The only downside was the limited view and beach access down the shoreline due to a home that is built right on the beach, blocking passage. Otherwise, an amazing spot and great stay!

Sandy Butts was a piece of heaven! Spotlessly clean, bed swing on a shaded porch, nice pool, a couple houses walk to the beach, comfy beds. Dog-friendly, which makes it a 10+. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us!

Perfect beach getaway

Sandy Butts was everything we wanted it to be. The house was perfect and the beach was lovely. Residual rain came through from the hurricane and washed out our beach access, but we all made it work. We will be back for sure.

Fall Beach Break

We loved this house for our stay. Great location - donuts, ice cream, and bike path all walking distance. The short walk to the beach was easy and the lack of crowds and high rise condos made it an amazing beach to enjoy. Having the pool right there was a blessing since the rip tide was bad the first few days. We will definitely be willing to stay here again.

Just as described

Property was just as described - great proximity to the trading post and ocean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals in. Loved waking up to the sound of the waves and salty air. The porch swing was a nice addition - was able to finish 2 books there :) The only thing that could have made it better would be a heated pool but knowing we rented in March - it was as good as could be expected.

The Best of Both Worlds - Pool and Beach

We had a great time with our family at this beautifully decorated home . I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the home. Everything was great. ( One suggestion for the future - replace the mattresses in the larger rooms and take the carpet out of the bedrooms downstairs . With that being said ,we would still like to stay here next year at this time.

Thanksgiving 2021

Beautiful home! Close walk to the beach. Very nice gated area for our dogs. Very close to the trading past! Rented bikes with our $250 credit with Natural Retreats. It’s a gorgeous area with the ocean, bay and walking trails. A RV parked on the property and blocked our ocean view so that was a hassle. The rental agent called the sheriff. They moved a bit but we’re still parked on the property that we rented! Next time we will rent in a gated community or private road. Very upsetting considering how much we paid and the RV didn’t pay a penny!

Comfortable during Hurricane Sally

The property was very clean and comfortable which was appreciated during the extended times we spent in doors waiting out Hurricane Sally. Once the storm passed, it was nice to be just a short walk to the beach. The location is wonderful as it is within walking distance of two well- stocked convenience stores, a seafood market, and donut shop! Would happily rent again without hesitation.

Love the location -- easy access to beach

We were there the week of July 4th and had a great stay at Sandy Butt! A relaxing home, had all that we needed and especially enjoyed the porch swing. The pool was great to have as it was a hot week! NR staff at Cape San Blas were great to work with and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again! Loved the location as it was close to the beach and the local seafood market/trading post!

Family Vacation 2018

We really enjoyed the house and location, with a few minor issues.The septic alarm started going off on the day after our arrival. We immediately contacted someone, which they sent someone out who told us nothing was wrong and just reset the alarm if it happens again?? Well, it happened continuously, and water was coming out the top. We called twice more and finally, the day before we left it was fixed.The outside trash can was a continuous issue. They took the outside can and didn't return till the following day, this happened twice. The one time it was taken at noon one day and wasn't returned till 9pm the following day, we would have retrieved it ourselves if we knew which one belonged to the house as several outside cans are located near the road.Just so the owners know, the pool cleaners came out and did nothing but take the skimmer across the pool, which we had already done, stayed maybe 5mins and left.Not sure what they are responsible for but wanted someone to know. The pool trash can was full of trash and water when we arrived, we cleaned it out ourselves.We really did enjoy the house, just wish we had less issues during our stay.

Awesome rental

We found the house in great condition. It is the perfect beach cottage. The views of the ocean are awesome. It's a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the pool as well. We had an incredible week and would stay again on our next vacation. Natural Retreats is a great rental company to rent from. They made our vacation rental easy. Very friendly and helpful people.
