This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house sleeps 7 comfortably and is located on the Forgotten Coast in North Cape San Blas. This single-story, stilted beach house offers plenty to do on the ground floor—swim in the private pool, relax on the colorful Adirondack chairs, or dine alfresco on the picnic table. There’s also a fish cleaning station with a sink and a propane grill to prepare the fresh catch of the day, as well as an outdoor shower for sandy feet.

Ascend the stairs to the vibrant great room with tall ceilings, exposed wood beams, and large picture windows that perfectly frame the breathtaking views of the Forgotten Coast. Great house!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Dolphin. It was accurately represented online, very close to the beach, had great views from inside, and was well cleaned and maintained.

Good Times at Beach Vibes

We've been Going to the Cape for nearly 20 years..by far our best Vaca! the house was wonderful as well as the view! 360 Blue was very professional and handled everything great! we will definitely rent Beach Vibes again!

Nice home with great views.

All amenities were as represented, we were quite pleased. 360 Blue was quickly to respond when we requested a new grille(the existing one had perished from years of abuse from the wind and sun!). We did report that the siding was flapping in the wind on the dinning room corner of the house. Also, the plumbing fixtures in the shower of the bathroom behind the kitchen are in serious need of replacement. I could foresee a disasterous failure happening in the near future. All in all, we were quite pleased.

the house is perfect, kitchen is very equipped. Take extra trash bags and dishwasher soap though. Everything else is fully stocked with more then imaginable. The views from the living room out out of this world! Very short walk to the beach with beautiful clear water!

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. Even though it isn’t beachfront, it’s situated so the view is still there. The pool was a plus and the reason we chose this property. Would definitely rent again.

Great stay

Close proximity to the beach. Used abandoned property for access. Otherwise public access is at the other end of the road. Amenities were adequate. Appreciated the starting supply of necessities as we got in late Sat night. Layout worked well for my wife and I and two teenage daughters.

Super cute little house. Very neat and clean.

I stayed here for a week in September and did liked the place. Nice updates, very clean and neat. It was a nice place to stay but I was a bit disappointed with the houses next to us obstructing our view of the beach. The pool was a bonus, especially when the flies were eating us alive on the beach. However, the pool skimmer wasn’t working properly so we had to constantly skim the bugs out of the pool. Not a big deal. The beach was beautiful and very private. Every day was warm and sunny with a nice breeze. The beach was a short walk as long as the neighbors don’t mind if you cut thru their property. Luckily, The houses next to us were empty so it didn’t matter. Otherwise, we would’ve had to drive down the road to the main beach access. We ended up renting a golf cart to take chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels, etc. The bedrooms are adorable, with only one downfall, only one bedroom had a dresser for clothes, the other two had closets with a few misc hangers which were thankfully left by other guests. Wasn’t so happy living out of a suitcase. Over all, it was a nice time, I don’t think I’ll go back to this house again but I will definitely be going back to Cape San Blas thru natural retreats. They were great to work with and were only a call or text away for anything we needed.

Wonderful!

This place was a wonderful place to spend a week at Cape San Blas! It was clean, updated and really close to the beach. My kids loved the pool. Check in was easy and communication with Natural Retreats when the water went out was great! (It wasn’t the House, the entire Cape was without water). We will definitely be back!

Loved everything!

We stayed at The Blue Dolphin in August and had a great time! It was close to the beach and the kids loved the pool. We loved everything about it. It was clean and cared for. We also loved the beach gear that was included and the free ticket to activities. Overall, it was the best vacation we have taken in awhile. Check in was a breeze and communication with the manager when we lost water (it was an area wide outage) was great!

Perfect for us

We really enjoyed our stay; perfect size for us and our dogs. Very close to the beach with a private pool to enjoy as well. Outfitted well in the house; only downside was common room didn't have DVD player to watch our own movies that we brought.

We will be back!

After hurricane Micheal there was a little issue with our vacation rental not being ready in time. I was sad to hear the news but Natural Retreats took care of us and switched us over to the Blue Dolphin at the last minute and it was a dream come true. The house has been beautifully remodeled after the hurricane and the views were amazing. We were much closer to the beach than we had thought and it was lovely. I can't say enough nice things about the house, location, and the owners. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, they were a true highlight of our trip, sweet and hard working couple. We have fallen love the with Cape over the years and we have had the pleasure of staying and quite a few lovely homes but the Blue Dolphin takes the cake. We will definitely be back with the kids and the dog and hope to run into our new friends while we are there! Blessings to you all and thank you for opening up your home to us.

Great vacation house

We stayed here April 6-13, 2019. I believe we were the first guests since that dastardly Hurricane Michael hit. The front of the house had been completely renovated due to storm damage, and the new construction was lovely! Overall, we thought the changes made due to the destruction were nice upgrades! There were a few things we suggested to management that could have easily been overlooked when trying to get everything back together within such a tight timeline, so hopefully these will be taken care of for future guests. This house is in a perfect location, just steps from the beach, with awesome views. Sadly, the pool was a bit too chilly to enjoy as much as we would have liked, but that was due to the season, not the weather or the pool, because it truly was a great week of weather! It was a perfect size house for a family. The kitchen appliances were nice and the W/D were sure nice to have for keeping up with towels. Being able to bring our dogs was a wonderful bonus, and they were worn out each day from all the walks on the beach collecting seashells. While we don't fish, there sure would have been ample opportunity. At times, it felt like the beach was all ours. Bonfires on the beach were icing on the cake each night. Several nearby restaurants were a must try (Skully's-shrimp boil, Sand Bucket-BBQ, and Peachy's Beach Eats-tacos)! Water pressure in the showers did not disappoint-nice for getting the lotion, salt and sand off. A note of caution due to the storms and so much construction going on, you really get a feel for what residents and owners must have witnessed and are still dealing with. There is glass everywhere you walk (can see it best at night) and we picked up screws and nails all around the neighborhood while we walked on the streets and beach area. It will likely be years for the evidence to fade away. Be careful and at least wear flip-flops. Natural Retreats were very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Having the VayK Gear (we selected bikes and chairs) made it more enjoyable as well! We made this a true vacation with nothing but R&R, so we did not take advantage of the Xplorie program offers, but will for sure next time. We will definitely be back!

Easy walk to the beach and pool a plus

The location for a house not directly on the gulf was great. There were unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck, and it was a short walk to the beach. The pool was also great to use when we weren't at the beach and our daughter wanted to swim. The house could definitely use some TLC, though. The ice maker in the freezer was broken and there was a big rip in the carpet, among a few other things. None of these really impacted our stay, though. Overall, a great trip to San Blas as always.

Beautiful and Peaceful Cottage. You could hear & see the ocean while sitting on the porch

The cottage was not as equipped as we are use too. But it was little things that could be easily fixed ( no salt & pepper, not enough bath towels..etc).Other places we have rented always had an exterior room where left over or "donated" floates and beach chairs could be left behind for the next person. This place did not have anything like that. We still left behind 3 lounge chairs we bought for the pool because all there was were chairs and who wants chairs around a pool that you can't lay out in. The pool was smaller than I hoped for but was still enjoyable. Though it needed services after the last guest left. There was trash all inside, a snorkel in the bottom of the pool, a chair was thrown in the Bush. I cleaned it up and swept all the left over shells and garbage. Then we had to call the company to send out the pool maintenance ppl to clean the debris And check the chemicals. Above all of that it is a beautiful and peaceful spot. The ocean is so close you can hear the waves crashing even though there is not direct access from the house. You have to walk up the road past an empty lot and a home and you could take a little trail between two houses to walk to the beach. It wasn't a far walk at all. I would say about 100 feet but that's what you compromise with having a pool so it's actually best of both worlds. I've never found such a place with a pool and the beach this close and this affordable. The cottage was cozy. I love how the master had it's own bathroom and the other 2 rooms were quit large. The open kitchen and living room were great too. At first we were coming back and forth using the front door but quickly realized to keep the sand in the house at a minimum we started using the back porch and stairs. It's a beautiful place. We did have a great time.

We love our week! Had great time, but some TLC would help!

We had a great time at Blue Dolphin! The view is great, the house is good. We really loved the rental beach equipment that was delivered. It was used and really came in handy! The house was well stock with games, books and great information about local shops and resturants. The kitchen could use a few items, so could the bedrooms, but all in all we had a great time!!!! The service was really great, everytime I called with a question, it was answered quickly and politely. Here are somethings that need to be addressed. Beach access is a quarter-mile down the street and should be mentioned in posting or shown on the map. 1.The top step on the pool ladder is cracked badly and the pool net has a huge hole. It is hard to clean the bugs out of the pool with a torn net! The pool should be cleaned or vaccuumed once during the week. 2.There is no broom or dishclothes in the house, both items are needed. I know a sponge was left, but not everyone uses them and I really do not want to vacuum on vacation, but a broom would have been nice! 3. All Beds need a memory foam topper! They are hard and uncomfortable! The bunkbeds are really uncomfortabe. We were 5 adults, no kids, perhaps the owners would consider putting in pyramid bunk bed or making just twins in the room. Extra blankets in each room would be nice! 4. The back sliding door did not lock. 5. A temperature guage in the oven would help. 6. The couch and recliner have seen better days and should be replaced. They are extremely uncomfortabe, really hard to be comfortable after a long day at the beach with the current furniture. There is just enough sitting for 6 people, there should be more. The room is large enough to accomadate 2 couches with another club chair. 7. An umbrella at the pool would be great or a shade sail. 8. The cable box in the master bedroom did not always work. This was extremely frustrating as we would begin to watch a program and tv or box would quit working. So we would have to unplug, wait and plug everything back in and pray it would work, having missed parts of the program. 9. Two of the dining chairs are really unstable and are in danger of breaking. 10. The floor was still gritty with sand when we entered. There was still sand, dirt and crumbs under the cushions of the couch. I hope this helps, some of these need to fixed ASAP, while some are ways to improve the house. Service can only be improved if one knows what is wrong and fixes it. Thank you

Loved the view!

We had a great time at Blue Dolphin. The shaded front porch with the beach view was wonderful to sit on every morning with my coffee. The only problem we had was that there was no broom! The sand became horrible by the end of the week. I would love to see this house get finished painting inside as only half of it is “updated” and for there to be even just slightly updated oven and dishwasher. They might be from the 70’s!
