La cage à oiseaux est un studio lumineux et aéré offrant une vue dégagée sur les montagnes de Koolau. Avec la plage historique de Waikiki juste à l'extérieur du hall de l'hôtel, le Bird Cage est le point de départ idéal pour explorer Honolulu et le reste d'Oahu.

Les fenêtres à double vitrage coulissantes minimisent grandement les bruits urbains de Waikiki, mais laissent entrer beaucoup de lumière. Une vaste terrasse sur le toit au-dessus de l'hôtel offre une vue à vol d'oiseau de Diamond Head. Il y a des chaises longues pour bronzer et des tables pour les repas en plein air. Personne d'autre à Waikiki n'a une meilleure vue du soleil se couchant dans le Pacifique. Le parc Kapiolani se trouve juste de l'autre côté de la rue et propose le zoo d'Honolulu, l'aquarium de Waikiki, le kiosque à musique Royal Hawaiian, des courts de tennis, des terrains de football, des terrains de tir à l'arc, des expositions d'art le week-end et des concerts gratuits au cinéma ainsi que des films - le tout dans ses 500 hectares verts.

Une des raisons principales pour venir à Hawaii est bien sûr le soleil et le sable. Surf, pagaie, canoë-kayak, nager et tout simplement se prélasser sur la plage se trouvent à quelques pas seulement du Brid Cage.

Hawaï est le carrefour du Pacifique et son offre culinaire en est un exemple. Ainsi, bien que le Bird Cage dispose d’une cuisine et d’un four micro-ondes, vous êtes à quelques pas de nombreux cafés et restaurants servant tous les goûts et toutes les gammes de prix. De même, si vous parvenez à sortir de l'eau et à vous éloigner de la plage, vous pourrez faire beaucoup de shopping à Waikiki et dans de nombreux autres magasins, à quelques minutes de route.

La cage à oiseaux est à la fin de Waikiki. Kapahulu Avenue offre un accès facile à l'autoroute et facilite l'entrée et la sortie du quartier, car vous évitez tout trafic au cœur de Waikiki. C'est parfait pour quand vous décidez d'explorer le reste qu'Oahu a à offrir.

This property is located at the east end of Waikiki beach by the zoo. We like the area but do lots of walking going west down the strip. We like the walk. This apartment is located at the back of the building and doesn’t have a deck. But, big windows which we opened up and enjoyed the tropical breeze.

I stayed here for three days with my husband before moving on to another spot on the island. The Birdcage was a great way to start out our vacation. The unit was as described. It was clean and comfortable. Kevin was great and he graciously allowed us an early and easy check in. The beach is literally steps away as well as great coffee and places to shop and dine.

Host provided great communication in the lead up to the visit. Property manager response was great. Appliances in kitchenette all worked good for our early morning breakfasts up on the 10th floor patio. A/C kept the room at an acceptable temperature (for a couple of penguins from the Pacific Northwest that were navigating the heat).Great location right across the street from the Honolulu Zoo was great for both arrival from airport by bus (W-Line got us there and back) as well as bus tours that we had scheduled with pickup right across the street (and of course the beach and parks which are very much walking distance). Plenty of great food options in the immediate area whether you want higher end on the beach dining or want to try some excellent local fare up Kapahulu (Sunshine & Pineapple) or Monsarrat (Pioneer Saloon).

Very nice stay, so pleased! Perfect rental for a single or couple! Way better than a 300/night hotel room, easy access and reasonable cost secure parking. Nice amenities in the unit and I cannot say enough about location! Waikiki beach is a block away, grocery store down the street, restaurants galore within walking distance. Felt very safe and secure. Most Hawaii properties are older and this one is no exception but well maintained and excellent host. Would stay again for sure!

I have worked in the travel industry for over 40 years and have explored numerous countries around the world. I can relate to what travelers are looking for in a vacation rental because I'm looking for the same things - cleanliness, location and value.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I grew up in Honolulu and spent a lot of time playing at the beach and on the sea wall that is less than 30 steps from the condo. Kapiolani Park was a place for family gatherings, concerts at the Shell, and of course the Zoo. Waikiki was a lot slower and quieter when I was a kid, but even today I think visitors will still find it to be a special place. If you walk down to the Diamond Head end of Kalakaua Avenue - it's still like it was in the old days.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

While being at the 'end' of Waikiki might sound like you are away from all the action, that just isn't the case. Everything Waikiki has to offer is just a short walk away, but you don't have to be in the middle of the hustle and traffic. Being on the end of Waikiki makes getting in and out of the area, if you are driving, much easier than visitors staying in the middle of the high-rises. Saving the best for last, being on the end of Waikiki means there is nothing else between you and Diamond Head except the big green expanse of Kapiolani Park. Head up to the roof deck and see for yourself! In the morning it's an amazing place to have coffee, watch the sun peek over the Koolau Mountains and light up Diamond Head, listen to the monkeys in the Zoo, and see the elephants out for a stroll. Only in Hawaii!
