Welcome to the Flip Flop Inn!

This beautiful home is nestled in cozy 'Sea Isle' which is approximately 25 minutes from Galveston. You will have easy access to the restaurants and attractions Galveston offers while enjoying a more private feel at the beach. The home is professionally managed and well-stocked so you can pack light, rest easy, and fully enjoy your vacation.

THE HOME
Come and enjoy a relaxing stay at this clean and well-maintained home nestled close to the sandy beaches of Galveston, Texas. Perfectly designed for a family vacation, this home features 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms. The primary bedroom and bedroom #2 both feature a queen-size bed while bedroom #3 has two sets of twin-size bunk beds. An open floor plan joins the family room, dining room, and kitchen together. The openness of this house is further accentuated by a vaulted ceiling providing ample space for you and your group to spend time together. Even more impressive is the outdoor space provided by this home. Outdoor seating, a gas grill, and a TV have all been provided for guest enjoyment on the ground level and the garage has been remodeled into a secondary kitchen and half bathroom. The secondary kitchen features a microwave, blender, tons of cabinet space, running water, and a fridge/freezer combination. No need to run upstairs for another cold drink. You can even choose to bring everything to the lower patio for a nice BBQ dinner together. The first level bathroom has its obvious benefits as well. These unique additions help to make spending time with friends and family at this home more convenient and fun.

LOCATION
Located close to the beach, you have the option of walking or taking a short drive. There is a neighborhood beach park and pocket beaches that offer parking very close to the home. Please be aware that if you intend to walk to the beach you will need to cross the main thoroughfare on the island which can be busy and not recommended for unaccompanied children. Another option is to simply drive a golf cart… There is a nearby company that will drop off and pickup the golf cart for you at a reasonable fee. The golf cart rental company contact information is listed in our guest app which can be easily accessed after booking your reservation.

GUEST APP
Each guest receives access to our user-friendly guest app which is tailored to the specific details of this home. Our guest app will help you easily prepare for your trip and get the most out of your stay.

PETS
This is a pet-friendly property! We allow 1-2 dogs depending on size. 2 dogs are permitted if both dogs are under 20 lbs. No dogs over 40 lbs are permitted at the home. Cats or any other animals are not allowed. When completing your reservation, please be sure to check 'Pets' when selecting number of guests. There is a $100 non-refundable pet fee that will be applied to your reservation. Failure to notify us that you are bringing a pet may result in immediate expulsion from the property without refund or a $200 penalty fee in addition to the pet fee. Please see our house rules below for additional information or inquire with us directly.

*Guests are still expected to clean up after their pets. Please remove any pet waste from the yard or excessive pet hair in the home prior to departure. This is not included in the cleaning fee and may create additional fees if additional cleaning is required.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Checking in and out is a stress-free and seamless process! You will receive a home access code 24 hours prior to your arrival which will provide you direct access to the home.

You may check-in any time after 4PM on your arrival date. Please do not request an early check-in time as we are unable to provide early check-ins. If you arrive to the island prior to 4PM, please utilize our guest app to find one of the many restaurants or attractions Galveston has to offer. These locations can serve as an excellent meeting place for members in your group and a fun way to start your trip.

Check-out time is 11AM on your departure date. Please adhere to this departure time so that our staff has adequate time to prepare the home for the next guest. Late guest departure from the home may result in additional fees.

STOCKED ITEMS
This home is well stocked starting with a kitchen that has just about everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals. Just bring your favorite ingredients! All beds are made prior to your arrival with clean sheets. Freshly laundered hand towels, bath towels, and beach towels are provided. We also provide a starter kit of paper products and toiletries for your arrival. These items are intended to make your first day comfortable so you will need to plan on purchasing supplies on your way to the home or after your arrival.


NEIGHBORHOOD AMENITIES
While staying at Beachfront Charm, you will have access to all the great amenities that Sea Isle has to offer. Within the neighborhood, nearby West End Marina features a restaurant, bar, store, and bait shop. Just across the street you can easily drop by Sea Isle Supermarket which offers a wide variety of items. As our guest, you will also have access to the neighborhood tennis courts and fishing pier. The pier is located on the bay side of the island and is an excellent spot to spend time with your group fishing or even catching crabs together. Additional details are provided in our guest app. The community pool is also available for guest use with an additional fee. Pool hours and fees can vary depending on the dates of your reservation. Please inquire with us directly for more information.

HOUSE RULES
Early Check-ins: We are unable to accommodate early check-ins due to the complications this causes for our cleaning staff.

Age Requirements: All guests must be over the age of 25 unless accompanied by their parent or legal guardian throughout their entire stay.

Quiet hours: We ask that our guests please be respectful of neighbors by keeping noise to reasonable levels between the hours of 8pm to 8am.

Pets: This is a pet-friendly property! We allow 1-2 dogs depending on size. 2 dogs are permitted if both dogs are under 20 lbs. No dogs over 40 lbs are permitted at the home. Great spot

House was great. We spent a lot of time in the downstairs area. Cooked on the grill twice. Everything we needed was there. Fished twice at the pier. Recommend renting a golf cart. It was a great way to experience the neighborhood. We are planning to go back hopefully in October.

Loved staying here. House was clean and plenty big for our family. Loved that our dogs could stay with us too! Very close to the beach and the West End Marina. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful find with exceptional management

Beautiful house, well situated for peace and quiet with everything we needed for a 10 day stay. Insane sunset views enjoyable from the front porch and beach just a short walk away. Had a couple of queries during the stay and New Century property management were fast and friendly to respond. 100% recommended and would definitely stay again. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay.

House was as advertised. Online description was useful. Only issue was bulbs in downstairs and listing said in pantry closet which was owners. Found bulbs after we picked some up at doller general they were under cabinet in madter bathroom no biggie.

Teachers Retreat

Perfect for our get-away from life before the new school year begins. This was the perfect spit gor our weekend of 6 Ladies. Great house, plenty of space and amenities. It rained most of the weekend but that didn’t dampen our spirits. There was a minor issue that was quickly resolved.

Great little house

Only Negs I have was the beds where not comfortable and 1 towel per person for a 9 day stay meant doing laundry in vaca a lot! Other than that, house was great. Smaller than pics make it appear, but cozy and nice . Enjoyed our stay greatly.

We loved our stay. Other than the first night someone tried to break into my car. The 2 back doors not on the side they open but on the other side looked like someone tried to wedge something in it to get to my car lock. Installing a camera where the parking area is under the deck would be good idea for future guest!

Nice property

House was nice and included everything we needed & more. They had a ton of beach toys, boogie boards and chairs. We didn't use any, but I won't have to pack as much next time. Neighborhood was quiet & the house was clean. My only suggestion is to get a bigger trash can in the kitchen.

Nice house, nice neighborhood

We visited Galveston not for pleasure, but actually work. We worked the Galveston Mardi Gras as a vendor. We introduced our "King Cake Baby" with our King Cakes from New Orleans. HolidayRove.com The house was spacious and clean in and out. The location was good for what we needed. The weather made it kind of messed up, cold and rainy, but the location is near the beach, which would be good for another visit. The downstairs has the outside area to hang out, which would have been great, but we just had no time, so hung out on the upper deck, which was quiet and pleasant. We heard the waves from the water, so that was cool too! Customer service was great. If we had issues, they were right on top of it. We were there for 14 days, mostly work, but we made it sort of a vacation! If we visit Galveston again, we would book this property again!

Flip Flop Inn Fun

We had a nice 4 day family vacation at Flip Flop Inn with the beach right across the highway just a couple of blocks from the property.This house worked great for our 7 family members. Quiet peaceful neighborhood. Our only complaints was it could have been a little cleaner in some areas. A little disappointing that the gas grill didn’t work for us to be able to grill hamburgers and hotdogs for our final night.They had to be taken in and cooked on the stove.

We had a great time - just a few things. TV downstairs did not work. Shower curtain in master bath has mold. Totally understand how these things could be overlooked but nothing major that these would ruin our trip!

Fun at the Flip Flop property

We had a great time at the house and was pretty close to the beach! The property had everything we needed including beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys for the beach! It made it easier for us to not have to bring so much! We do a lot of cooking and my only comment was there is no griddle for pancakes / heating up tortillas but we made it work! My husband made some amazing bbq on the propane grill. We had an issue with the lock but the property manager was prompt and quickly assisted us! We enjoyed our trip!

Loved the Flip Flop Inn

We really enjoy cooking, we found the kitchen well equipped to make several meals without having to clean every dish between. We appreciate that took into consideration We stayed for a full 7 days and stocked the trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper for that amount if time. We loved the downstairs bar area with the extra fridge and bathroom. Made running from the beach a breeze. We will be back.

Overall a nice place.

We enjoyed our stay. House was very comfortable for 5 adults. We had alot of fun with the outdoor bar area and yard. House is within walking distance (about a 3 minute walk) to the beach.

Perfect family beach vacation house

Perfect house for a family right across from the beach. It is either a 2 minute drive or a <10 minute walk to the beach. The property was extremely clean. The outdoor seating areas were great for the mornings and evenings. The smart tvs were a great bonus. Plenty of pantry, fridge, and prep space for cooking.

Quick weekend getaway!

Booked this property for a quick weekend getaway with my kids & grandkids. Location was great, just across the road from the beach. Check in was easy. Home was clean and cute. The downstairs garage was fabulous. Loved that there are 2 refrigerators, one up and one down, the down one being great for all holding all your drinks. Would book this property again.
