Family and Pet friendly house

Welcome to the Phoenician by the Sea! This bright and modern beach house is the perfect place for a trip with the family, pets, friends or a romantic get-away. It's a short 5 minute walk to the beach through a quiet neighborhood. It comes equipped with all the amenities from home including beach essentials. The island sunsets and star gazing from the balcony are spectacular!
The space
We provide all the amenities from home so you have less to pack. From a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, to a washer and dryer with detergent pods provided. The bathrooms include a dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body soap. There's plenty of outdoor seating and a picnic table. After some fun on the beach, there is an outdoor shower on the ground level to rinse off excess sand.
Guest access
You have access to the entire house.
Other things to note
Age Limit: Minimum Age Limit for Renters: All reservations MUST be made by individuals at the age of 25 or older. Adults cannot rent properties on behalf of under age guests.
Special occasions must be disclosed at the time of booking and prior approval is required. In order to respect our neighbors, we do not allow disruptive parties.

The house was perfect for our family trip! The large dining table was great for games and the kitchen was well equipped. It was an easy walk to the beach and the outdoor shower made cleanup afterward a breeze.

Great stay with the family - 7 people. It was nice that everyone had a bed to sleep in without anyone having to be on the couch. Convenient location for visiting places along the seawall. We would gladly stay here again.

This was the perfect house for a family vacation including our 3 dogs! We were so happy to find a place that was a close walk to the beach with plenty of space for everyone and our dogs and with no restrictions as we do have larger dogs. The host was great with communications. The few issues we had on our trip they were quick to respond and resolve to make sure we had the best stay.

Smell was a little off-putting

When we first got there, the smell of mustiness was outrageous. When I got home on Sunday, I could still smell it on my clothing and blankets. I would suggest air fresheners or something clean in the filters. There was also dead roaches laying in the master bedroom. I would also suggest removing the plastic coverings from the beds. We were very hot and uncomfortable sleeping.

Everything went perfect

I've stayed at a few homes in Galveston, and I truly like this one. It's close to the beach, its spacious and I would definitely go again. The host was great, and I will definitely go again.

First time in Glaveston

A couple of friends decided last minute to visit Galveston. The host was so communicative about check in, it was my first using Vrbo. My friends wanted to check-in early and being able to talk to this host and he replied with all the information. I’ll be booking here agin. The house was so comfy and clean. With so many beds.

Good spot

The property was very comfortable! The walk to the beach is a bit much with younger kids/older adults but it is pretty close, about 10 minutes for our crew. The access to the beach was in a great place, it was never over crowded. The neighborhood lost power for a little while and the host was super responsive. The host was so kind and had great communication and that really made me feel more relaxed, I totally understand why they’re a “super host”!

Great Family Vacation

Walking distance to beach made a spring break stay with small kids with less than ideal weather, an absolute amazing time! House is very tidy, beds are comfortable. Communication with host was fantastic.
