DT Historic Home - Walk to the Stadium and Dailys!

Summary:

This apartment is within a large, historic home nestled in Jacksonville's Sports Complex district. You can even view the top of the stadium from your window!



No need to pay for event parking, tailgate parking or concert parking! We are walkable to ALL downtown entertainment: TIAA Field, Daily's Place, VyStar Arena, JAX Fairgrounds. Not to mention Intuition Ale Works, Manifest Distilling, and the local's favorite THAT BAR AT THE ARENA.



The Space:

PLEASE NOTE: On Jacksonville Jaguars' Home Game Days, the property owner hosts a tailgate session in the downstairs apartment. Airbnb guests will be guaranteed 2 parking spaces (possibly more if requested). Guests are always welcome to these tailgates!



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire second floor apartment. The downstairs space is not occupied.



Getting Around:

Public transportation is minimal in Jacksonville in general. You are a few blocks from the downtown bus terminal if you would like to use that.



There is also the Skyway if you would like to take a short trip around the urban core area.



Uber and Lyft both operate in Jacksonville so these are excellent resources if you don't feel like driving/don't have access to a car.



Other Things to Note:

We require every guest who books a listing with us ("the booker") to fill out a check-in form which includes reading and signing our rental agreement. As part of our check-in process we require all guests to provide us information about them / their stay with us. This includes uploading a valid, unexpired government issued identification card and a "selfie" (picture showing one's face typically taken using one's phone camera).



This process is similar to checking into a hotel and we hope you understand that this is necessary since we typically do not have staff on site to validate a guest's identity. If you aren't comfortable with this then we recommend you book a property with another host since completing the check-in form (which includes uploading a non-expired ID, selfie, and reading/signing our rental agreement) is required before we can send you check-in information.

We charge for additional guests above a fixed amount. This amount and additional charge varies by unit type, size, and configuration. If you input the correct guest count when you make your reservation the amount the booking site indicated as the total cost will not change (due to guest count). We ask for confirmation of guest count after you complete your booking. If you need to increase your guest count after booking confirmation due to a booking error, this could result in a price increase. Finally, we verify guest count via external cameras located on our properties. In the event that we notice a guest count at the property that is higher than reported, we reserve the right to ask for additional guest fees that would be double the amount we would have charged prior to check-in.



Kindly refer to the following guidelines regarding fees for extra guests:

Studio & 1 BR units - $25 per guest/night after 2 guests (i.e. 3 guests would be $25/night extra and 4 guests would be $50/night extra)

2 BR units - $30 per guest/night after 4 guests (i.e. 5 guests would be $30/night extra and 6 guests would be $60/night extra)

3 BR unit - $35 per guest/night after 6 guests (i.e. 7 guests would be $35/night extra and 8 guests would be $70/night extra)

4 BR units - $40 per guest/night after 8 guests (i.e. 9 guests would be $40/night extra and 10 guests would be $80/night extra)

5 BR+ units - $45 per guest/night after 10 guests (i.e. 11 guests would be $45/night extra and 12 guests would be $90/night extra)



This property is NOT pet-friendly.



We have a minimum 7 day stay requirement for local guests. We rarely make an exception to policy but may elect to do so at our sole discretion. If you are local to Jax and book for less than 7 days we reserve the right to ask you to cancel your reservation.



Please note that we have exterior Ring security cameras on the front and back porches to enhance your security and safety.



Gatherings/parties of any kind are strictly forbidden at this property.



If you host a gathering/party/event at this property we will levy a $1000 fine.



Also, Saturday check-ins and check-outs are (generally) not allowed unless you are booking a stay that is >7 days, with the exception of some specific weekends (FL-GA and TPC Sawgrass weekends are a few examples) . I may allow an exception to this policy (depending on the specific weekend and season) but reserve the right not to do so or to ask you to modify of cancel a reservation starting or ending on a Saturday.



The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming I can offer this at all (I often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):



1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $100

1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $200

2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $300

3+ hr early arrival/late departure: $400 or the cost of an additional night’s stay, whichever is more



These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes my cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which I hold them to.



***Smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - the house, front porch, back deck, or front or back yard***



***If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on porch, deck, empty cigarette packs, etc.) We will assess a $500 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee***



You are strictly forbidden from bringing firearms or items associated with them (including guns, bullets, gunpowder, shells, magazines, silencers, etc.) on this property whether or not they are licensed. If you violate this policy or we find evidence that you did (e.g. firearms or bullets are discovered by our cleaners following your stay) we will assess a $1000 fine.



For guests requiring a pack n play, high chair, or any other non-standard item, please submit your request at least 7 days before check-in to ensure availability. If the request is made less than 7 days prior to check-in, we will make every effort to accommodate it, but cannot guarantee availability.

Nice house, clean. There is not a lot in that neighborhood but it is a great place to stay, quick access to multiple bridges to get you to stuff.

Great place by the stadium!

The property was super clean and in a convenient location, walking distance to the stadium. We rented the property for our out of town crew members and it had everything they needed for their month long stay. Eric, the property manager was super friendly and responsive to any questions we had.

Very clean, bed was comfortable. Pleasingly quiet. Close to the fairgrounds. Did not have to get up at the crack of dawn to get to the race!

Great place

This was a great place to stay! The check in process was very easy and the house was very nice and spacious. There’s a few maintenance things that needed to be kept up with but other than that it was a great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere close to the venues to stay. We were within walking distance if Vystar which was great because we were there for a concert. Just need to be careful at night as the area isn’t the best but i would still definitely recommend staying here when you’re in town!

Overall a great place to stay!! The Manager and the Owner were AMAZING!! My only complaint was about the cleaning crew. Coffee pot was not clean (still had grounds and old coffee in it) and one the beds had sand in it!
