This house is perfect if you’re traveling with a large group. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own privacy. We also enjoyed the large deck with a beautiful view.

This is a beautiful and spacious home, and everything was very clean. There is plenty of entertainment for families with kids of all ages. Service was great. We would definitely stay here again!
Property was easy to access, plenty of parking. Good for privacy with little ones, clean and nicely set up. View and massive porch space can't be beat. Quick drive to both summit and Big Bear, and tubing close by for little ones!

The house is as pictured. Our group really had a good time. There was plenty of activities to do in the house and we were able to enjoy the snow in the backyard. This is my second time staying at this property, my family loves it.
Had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. House was very very clean and in a beautiful area. The kids had a blast with the pool table and shuffleboard in the gigantic "playroom" downstairs. Perfect house for adults who want to hang upstairs by the firepit and the kids had their own space. Wonderful place will definitely be going back!!

This is a beautiful property with plenty of space for family to sleep and hang out. We really enjoyed the game room. The property was clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Last year I solid my rental property in Big Bear so I know the challenges of being an owner. The owner of this property has done an excellent job in making a welcoming and happy rental. Can’t wait to come back.

My friends and I had an amazing experience staying at this property. The check in process was easy and we were given check in and check out instructions ahead of time. All of our questions were answered right away and everyone I spoke to from WowRentals was very kind. Our host Shania was very helpful as well. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Such an incredible place, we’ll definitely be back!

Hello Arissa,
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your feedback, we hope to see you again soon!
Wonderful place for a family reunion with games, a nice view from the top deck, and a hot tub to relax in on the lower deck. Kitchen was very well equipped with appliances, cookware, flatware, and kitchen tools. It was only missing spices and measuring cups. Bring a towel if you have more than 8 people. Management responded quickly. Great vacation!

The property was super clean and well appointed. The only downside was a nonfunctioning jacuzzi which they told us about at check-in. They assured us it would be fixed but no one showed up during our 4-day stay. Everything else was good.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback, we will forward this over to the owner. Sadly like majority of our properties in Big Bear, this property does not have A/C. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon!
What a wonderful stay we had.The canyon crest lodge is a beautiful, big house in Big Bear. We walked in to its large and very clean living room and open kitchen which made a lasting impression on my family, parents and in-laws from out state. With the weather perfect, our only dilemma was picking whether we wanted to eat/drink inside or outside on the deck overlooking the mountain views. This house has everything from the spacious hot tub to the pool table, shuffleboard, ping pong and basketball that my kids played with daily. We loved having out here, and the kids cried when we left. I recommended this home to friends as the best place to stay, and we will be back.

Hello Marcus, We are are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We truly appreciate your review. Thank you and we hope to have you back soon.
This house is in a beautiful area and has a ton of amenities for the entire family. We loved all the games, the spa, and the fire pit. Very comfortable. Plenty spacious and certainly enough to do where you never have to leave. Close to town, hiking, and the lake, it was a convenient spot that felt like you were up in the mountains with views of the forest. Loved grilling on the spacious deck overlooking the trees. The only reason we didn’t give five stars is that there should’ve been more towels, including spa towels, and a house manual to use some of the appliances which took some time, find the gas turn on, etc. A couple windows didn’t open and a kitchen cabinet was broken, but they really didn’t affect our stay. We reached out to the property manager, but it sounds like some of these things aren’t handled in their contract. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay and would rent this house again.

Hello Aaron, we apologize for the inconveniences of your stay. We will inform our management team to avoid these issues in the future. We hope you enjoyed the remainder of your stay and to see you again as well!
This is a spacious house with an amazing view! We loved sitting out in the back deck to enjoy the scenery and watch the sunset. We also loved using the fire pit outside to make s’mores! I liked that 3 of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms and our kids enjoyed their own private space downstairs with the pool table and TV area. There was also many different areas to watch TV or just sit and relax.
Cons: Ants everywhere!! We lost half our breakfast items due to a major ant infestation in the kitchen and had to throw out all our untouched Costco muffins and cookies the morning after we arrived. We also had ants in many of the bathrooms and bedrooms - found them in my clothes, bed, and nightstand. In all the homes/cabins I’ve stayed at in Big Bear in my many visits in the past 20 years, I’ve never experienced a bug problem like I did here.
Appliances also were giving us problems. One of the stove burners didn’t work, the dishwasher didn’t work and the overflow drain flooded the counter and ruined the food and packages we had on the counter our first night also. Refrigerator leaked water.
I did notify management and they were responsive and sent someone over to take a look, but we were so afraid of more flooding that we just hand washed all our dishes the rest of our stay. He also provided ant spray for us.
Overall a wonderful property, would be so much better if we didn’t have to worry about the ants and leaking water…
We were a little nervous about the property because of the review regarding the hot tub and WiFi but everything was PERFECT! The hot tub worked perfectly fine, we had ALL of our devices and a lap top on the WiFi and had no issues. It was clean and spacious. We weren’t sure if they would have everything we needed so we brought our own large sized pots and pans but they already had them and every small appliance you could think of. We only needed our air fryer. There is a slight moth issue around the hot tub however it’s kind of expected since you’re out in the woods and the house is well lit. Just make sure you close the doors when you step outside. Any way, we’re definitely making this an annual thing and coming back!!! Again, great rental!!!
Bonus basket ball and ping pong in the garage to complement the great house.

This location has multiple issues that urgently need attention for customer satisfaction. Upon arrival the home had ants. We booked this home for 4 days and 3 nights. On the very first night we lost all Wifi connection. This resulted in no tv or music for my family. The very next morning on Saturday February 29th, 2020, we called WOW rentals at 11 am to inform them of the multiple issues we had. We stated we had no wifi, the hot tub doesn't work, the kitchen has 3 light bulbs out right over the stove, the bathroom locks are broken, and the oven does not work. These may seem like minor issues but they were of great importance to us. We were there celebrating a birthday and could not bake our cake, and we felt as if we were cooking dinner in the dark. Wow rentals said they would send someone out and make sure they had a ladder to change kitchen lightbulbs. Jim arrived at around noon and took notes via text to inform the office. Jim said he struck out and could not fix issues with internet, bathroom locks, hot tub, oven, and was not told to bring ladder for lights. He said he informed the office and they would send someone else. At 3pm we made a phone call to follow up as we were still waiting for technician.
Spoke to Abby, who informed me that her manager was aware of the issues and had been making phone calls to get someone out here but hadn't been able to find anyone yet. It was an inconvenience to our family as we cancelled our group plans to wait for technician. At this point Abby said she was baffled at all the issues we were having because this residence hadn't had any if these issues brought to their attention before. Felt as of she was blaming is or accusing us of making it up. At 4 pm someone called to assure us someone was coming to the property at 5:30pm to check hot tub. We spent all Saturday waiting for technicians that never came. No other employee ever showed up so our issues were never addressed. 4 days 3 nights with basic amenities lacking function. Office seemed to show no concern for renters. Worst experience in big bear so far!
