The house and property was wonderful; there was an unforseen issue with hot water during our stay and barring that I would have rated our stay five stars. The host - Michael - was absolutely wonderful and made the stay great still despite having no hot water. We felt cared for the entire stay. We will be going back for sure!

The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The location is perfect to do any amount of activities in the area. My only very minor complaint is the mattress in the bedroom with one bed is quite uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the cottage, great location, it was clean, everything worked and it had some style too. Michael was a professional and friendly host. We would certainly go back! Wished we could have stayed longer! Excellent!

Comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage with a stunning sunset view. The kiddos loved kayaking on the Huron, campfires and playing with fetch with the doggo on the beautiful fully manicured grounds. Would book again!

The host is very quick to respond to questions. The property is well cleaned and well supplied with items both inside and outside for your accommodation needs and entertainment. It is a peaceful setting; wonderful for relaxing. There are many place to hike nearby.

A lovely quiet home and everything worked well. A great view. Need water shoes or runners to walk on Stoney shore to get close to the water. Having access to Park Pass was great, even though entrance to National Park is free at this time, parking is not. It’s 17.50 a day so a lovely savings.

Communications with Michael was great, check-in was easy and all the instructions and informations about the property or the area were easily accessible and very helpful. The place was charming and had everything our family needed. The wonderful access to the lake and the beautiful sunsets were the highlights of our stay.

This is one of those places that surprise you in a good way! Beautifully located, organized and very close to the grotto and downtown Tobermory, great place overall!

Slice of Heaven

Our stay was absolutely great! The location is superb and the view is even better. We enjoyed biking and hiking in the area and discovered Dorcas Bay on kayaks. The hosts thought of everything so that guests can enjoy and relax. Would definitely stay again!

we stayed for 5 nights, the view was fantastic, the kitchen was fully equipped, and tidy and clean. we enjoyed our stay, the beautiful view and the sound of waves from the lake was very peaceful.

We loved our stay. The property is gorgeous and the view is amazing. Everything was nicely arranged both inside and outside. We were lucky to have a couple of fires by the lake and you can’t beat the setup and the view. Michael was great answering all of our questions. This was the perfect home base to explore Tobermory and the nearby national parks.

A very comfortable cottage almost inside a beautiful National Park

Bruce Peninsula National Park is beautiful, ant cottages line the Lake Huron shore just south of Singing Sands Beach. That is where this lovely cottage is located. But we have learned that beautiful locations are not enough for a great stay. You need a well equipped place with a great host. This location has all three - location, wonderful place to stay, and great host.
