Wedding weekend

We were in Niagara for my son's wedding the house was great it was 5 minutes to the winery for the ceremony and reception The space was perfect for us lots of room to get ready.We arrived on Friday and getting into the home was easy, the home was spotless and the beds were very comfortable.There is a Grocery store and other shops close by for anything extra we needed.

Girls Trip !

Us five 55+ “grandmothers” have been going on girls trips for years. This was the first time “out of country” ! The house was perfect ! Great location . Clean house. Definitely would return and recommend the home to others !!

Roomy, cheery and clean

Very roomy property with two nice entertainment areas, one upstairs and one downstairs. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The large fenced backyard was perfect for our dog. Silversmith is a brewery within walking distance with a dog friendly patio with good food and beer. Nice hiking and bird watching in the area. Niagara-on-the-Lake was a very short drive away. FYI the many vineyards in the are employ "boomers" to scare the birds from the grapes during fall. This was not a deterant or problem for us, it was just an interesting fact that we learned from other hikers. There were many roadside farmstands with excellent fresh fall produce.

Our “home away from home” was exactly as it was advertised; quiet, clean, nicely decorated and only 8 minutes from the Shaw Festival theatres, which was the reason for our visit. The back yard was big and we enjoyed sitting outside having our dinner. Very pleasant experience for all four of us, thank you Joanna and Peter!

Wine Tasting

I had booked this property to give us a home base as we toured different wineries in the area. My son turns 60 in a couple of weeks and this was a gift to him. We are from Manitoba and were joined by family from the Stratford area A great time was had by all and absolutely no complaints regarding the accommodations. Unfortunely our stay was rather short and didn’t allow for us to take advantage of the lovely back yard and barbecue…..next time. 🤗 Sandra

Perfect Launch Point for the Fall and Niagara on the Lake

We loved the location, very close to Niagara on the Lake and easy access to the falls. The house was comfortable for our family, and the backyard is great! We had everything we needed and were very happy with our stay.

Great home, great stay.

The home was clean and well prepared for our stay. There was plenty of room for our family and everyone was comfortable. The backyard is ample, perfect for pets too. We would recommend the home to anyone planning to stay in the Niagara on the Lakes area.

Perfect Stay

Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Such a great respite after days of exploring Toronto and Niagara Falls. Wish we would have stayed longer as two full days wasn’t enough to enjoy the area. All the windows added inviting brightness to the living area. The backyard and basement living room were my areas of peace and quiet.

Best house in Niagara on the Lake

Although we have not been to Niagara on the Lake prior to our stay here in June 2024, we had an amazing time at the property and everything was perfect. Super clean and everything worked as it should. Location was amazing and we had a great time! Hoping to return next year!

Wow

We were so delightfully surprised at how lovely this home was...everything looked exactly like the online photos. It was super clean and comfy. So many little extras...... It was neat and tidy, the beds were comfortable with lovely covers and comforters, lots of cupboard space and closets, lots of nice towels....more than we needed. So many many nice surprises. We have stayed in rental homes a few times but never one so well equipped and welcoming. We certainly will return. Anne, Hans, Christine, Jody and Snickers. Sincere thanks to Joanna and Peter

Amazing location!

This property was so clean and had everything we needed for an amazing bachelorette weekend! It is within walking distance to two wineries and a few nice restaurants as well.

If available you should book

If you’re in need of a 3 bedroom/ 2 bath house then look no further. The location is only 3 miles from downtown & about 20 mins from the falls. It’s worth it even if your not visiting the wineries. It was so nice to leave the busy falls to come home to a quite community. The beds are amazing, so comfy. The whole family loved the backyard. My oldest loved the bunk beds, and the full laundry room is convenient. The owners were quick to respond when we had a question. Check out was easy and reasonable requests were asked of us. I would recommend this place to friends, and if we’re ever here again this would be my first choice.

Great getaway

Very nice home

There were 5 friends on this trip, and we all fit very comfortably in the house. It was very clean, had everything you could need in the kitchen, and comfortable beds and seating. Very close to everything - we had a great weekend.

Magnificent stay

The house was clean, all of the amenities were available. Situated centrally, close to shopping, wineries, and restaurants. I would definitely rent this property if I am back in Niagara.

Cozy Getaway and Amazing Hosts!

Our visit ended up happening during the blizzard of 2022 and the hosts were so accommodating! They let us come earlier before our actual check-in so we could beat the blizzard (we had people come from Rochester, NY and Ottawa) and were very responsive to messages (usually within minutes or faster). The hosts provided a whole list of suggestions on what to do and quickly answered any questions. Since our gathering was during Christmas, the house was decorated with Christmas items, which was a nice touch. There was five of us and the house was very spacious. The house was very clean, the necessary toiletries were available, and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, mugs, pots, pans, etc. There was also a smart tv and cable tv so we were able to watch what we wanted and most importantly the Bills beating the Bears! The basement was also very cool to hang out in as it was spacious and had a tv also. My bed was also very cozy and wanted to sleep in it more! I would 100% stay here again and am so grateful for such considerate hosts. You made our time special and memorable!

An Enjoyable Stay

Our accommodations were beyond our expectations! We were very close to all of the major attractions, including the Shaw Festival and downtown. Our home away from home was clean and spacious. We were a party of four, but six people would find there would be more than enough room. We stayed a week before Christmas, and the owners had even decorated the house in a festive way! We will be back, and highly recommend this listing to all!
