It is the home of Rupert's Escape Bar! Come relax, make memories and enjoy the sunshine with family & friends in a fun, newly renovated home. This stylish place is centrally located just minutes from the Tampa Airport, Raymond James Stadium, Busch Gardens, Lowry Zoo, USF, and the Florida Aquarium. We are right around the corner from some of the most popular beaches in the United States and an hour away from the Disney parks. Enjoy all of the amenities of this home and the thriving city of Tampa.

This home offers several gathering spaces for guests to enjoy including a gourmet kitchen with island seating, outdoor bar with wifi speakers, screened in lanai with string lighting, game room with pool table and seating in addition to having 65 and 75 inch tv's on the main floor, and 55 inch tv's in every bedroom! It has all of the amenities to make you feel at home!!

Location was perfect to all amenities! The house is absolutely gorgeous! All the fine details were amazing! My family and I had a wonderful stay and if we go back to Tampa we will stay here again!

Beautiful home

This house was beautiful. Perfect for our family stay for graduation. Extra touches by this host - snacks, coffee pods. The pool and bar area a great.

Family vacation in Tampa

I recently stayed at this property with my kids (23,19,12). The home was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the pool area and pool table. The kitchen and grill were great for preparing meals. Communication with the host was excellent.

Family Vacation

Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The home has everything we needed and more. The pool was a plus and the entire home was clean and organized. Definitely would love to book our stay there again, our stay was perfect.

Excellent property

This property was perfect. It was clean, tons of room, pool was perfect. The entire house is perfect! We can not wait to stay again. The set up was great. Communication was awesome. Location close to everything. They had everything you could want or need. Best place we have ever stayed in, and we rent once to twice a year.

March road-trip

House is lovely, updated nicely. Neighborhood is quiet. Pool is clean. Pool guy came during my stay and he did a thorough job. The house is a short drive to the airport but I never heard a plane. Beds are comfortable.

Warmer winter get away

Great property and house layout. Close to everything you need. Loved the screened porch and outdoor bar/tv area. Kitchen was well laid out and had everything you need. Fell in love with the high tech mirrors in all the bathrooms. Would stay here again

Immaculate Home with Great Amenities!

The Sunshine House was beautifully remodeled with nice furnishings! Upon arrival we were wowed when we entered the home! Bright with lots of natural light and a shimmering pool out back! The home was immaculately clean, comfortable beds & pillows, fully stocked kitchen, outdoor gazebo with speakers and a private clean pool! The owners were excellent with communication and had a snack basket to welcome us! The location was close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, Tampa bay and airport. Highly recommend this home and we will definitely stay again!

Short stay in Tampa Bay

We had a great time at Sunshine house! We brought our daughter and a friend, early teens, who loved the pool and the pool table. Everything was well thought out, clean, and practical. Pool area really nice. We had good access to activities - Tarpon Springs, Clearwater and Busch Gardens. We will stay longer next time!

Exactly as advertised

The property is exactly as advertised and as seen in the pictures. Communication with the host was prompt and every question was addressed. The property is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities of home. We were extremely pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this host and property.

Very clean. Beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. Everything we would need to cook. Only suggestion would be hand towel racks for the bathrooms and places to hang towels for reuse. Had a fabulous time

Family visit for our daughter’s nursing school graduation. Age range 21-77. Home had plenty of room. Very clean and well stated. We loved the outdoor space and pool. We will request to stay here again during our next visit!! Thank you 😊

All the comforts of home!

We had a wonderful vacation and the house was amazing! It had everything we needed. I usually have to go out and buy something that the listing claimed the property had, but not this time. The property manager was accessible for questions and fixed a small issue we ran into very quickly. My family would definitely stay again should we visit the area again.

Great location, clean and fabulous!

Close to downtown Tampa, Raymond James stadium and the airport. This house provided everything we needed for a long weekend getaway for 2 families. Loved the outside bar and TVs everywhere. Had an issue one night and property manager took my call. Ranked communication a 4-star only because the electrician didn't come the next day as promised. Highly recommend this property!!

Amazing House for Family Fun

We booked this home for four nights so we could have accommodations to allow 7 people total. We had ages from 16 to 63. We were in town for a concert. The house was in perfect condition. It was clean and the rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. It has an amazing pool with bar area. It has an awesome game room with pool table. We had two families there with mostly teenagers and we had a blast just hanging out in between concert dates (we had two dates for concert). It is very close to Busch Gardens and amazing restaurants and activities. The HOME IS BEAUTIFUL. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed from coffee to toaster to cooking pans. We didnt have to buy or bring any extras as this property provided everything we needed to cook for large family and not have to bring as many things. The pool area was clean and well maintained. I would 100% recommend this property especially for someone who wants a private setting for family and friends to just enjoy everything this property offers.

Good location

The home was even better in person. It was a nice safe neighborhood. The home was super clean and very comfortable, it provided all the amenities that we needed: washer/dryer, outside patio area with TV sitting which included outside fridge and large pool area. There even was a enclosed sunroom for relaxing. It had games which we played and a pool table. Great Amenities!!!!! I had a party of 7 and it was more than enough space for all of us. They even provided snacks. Communication with the host was great and quick responses back with any questions I had. I would definitely rent again if I come back to Tampa. Great rental. I went to Busch Gardens, Adventure water park, casino, and fairgrounds and this home was in good great distance to all 4 sites. And it’s super close to the airport which is what I wanted.

A Peaceful Retreat in Northern Tampa

Let me start with the negatives. First, Waters Ave (the nearest major road) can be difficult to get across depending on time of day. Second, this home is under renovation. With that said, the renovations appear to be 95+% done (missing things like a toilet paper roll holder in master bath), and regardless of status, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This home's 95% is an average homes 150%, in a (few) word(s), this place is gorgeous, peaceful, and quite frankly possibly in the top 5 best homes I have ever been in, and second best VRBO rental I have ever had (beaten only by a waterfront "mansion" in Hawaii). The hosts were pleasant, helpful and easy to contact. The home was well stocked, and if it wasn't for a spate of "bad" Tampa weather, my kids would have camped in the pool. Any true faults with this place would be nitpicking at best, and this vacation home receives my highest award, "I would be willing to buy it." Not only do I heartily recommend staying at Rupert's Escape, but if I found myself in need, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
