Welcome to Wild Elk Sleepover! This woodsy A-Frame cabin is tucked away in a tranquil spot between Lake Isabella, Kernville, and the Alta Sierra ski resort.

Perfect for unwinding after a day of rafting, fishing, hiking, biking, and swimming in the summer, or skiing, snowboarding and snow play in the winter.

Cozy place with easy access to nature

We went for a girls trip and to check out some of the trails and waterfalls in the area. The place was nice and we really enjoyed the outside fire pit.

This was our first time ever renting and it was the best thing. The cabin was amazing. The view was beautiful. The stars were so pretty. The place was clean and very kids friendly.

Cute cabin vacation

Nice clean place to relax after a day out on the water, very convenient to both Kernville and Lake Isabella, and close to some nice hikes in the forest!

Charming A-frame cabin

My husband, our daughter, and I had a wonderful stay! The kitchen is clean and well-equipped, and the living room is a great place to relax and read. We hope to come back on a future trip.

Perfect family getaway

This cabin was such a perfect family getaway! It was close enough to town and activities, but still felt private and secluded. The cabin itself is gorgeous and so homey and truly the best winter escape. We traveled with our toddler so we really appreciated all the extras this house included (fireplace, board games, even a bin of blocks!). We will definitely be back - thank you!

It’s over all good property. Prompt owners

Enjoyed the stay. Needed it for one night. They really need better door for master space. It was crazy loud if you needed to pee at. Ight you had to walk down stairs. No other pillow options could be found lat me at night. Location was nice and overall a pretty good place. Bernie was a strait forward and kindly host

Had a great time at Bernies cabin. Cabin was clean and spacious. Close to kern river and town for exploring. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Bernie the owner was very nice and was quick on his responses when I had a question. The cabin is very clean and in a great location. It was nice to sit on the back porch which has a great view and watch the sun rise. Thanks for letting us stay at your place Bernie. 5 stars.

Tolles Ferienhaus in großartiger Lage. Sehr ruhig, nur wenige Minuten zum lake Isabella. Sehr sauber, bequemes Bett. Haus wirkt größer und komfortabler als auf den Bildern. Bestens ausgestattet. Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Absolut empfehlenswert!
