This quaint cottage located in Southern Oregon is a serene escape from the busyness of life. Nestled back on the owner's property, this unique cottage has multiple amenities to offer.

Agateland Cottage offers peace and quiet, unlike a hotel, where traffic noise, slamming doors, and loud voices threaten a peaceful night's sleep. Built in 2005, with high-speed internet access, and HDTV, the cottage offers a modern luxury. Not only does this cozy cottage offer a modern twist, but it also ties in an exceptional comfort level--with a TempurPedic mattress and bidet toilet-- once again setting it apart from many common hotels. In addition, Agateland Cottage is centrally located around Southern Oregon's many attractions-- a mere fifteen minutes to Ashland and the Shakespearean Festival, just ten minutes to Jacksonville and the Britt Festival, only ninety miles to the beautiful Crater Lake, and twenty minutes to the Rogue River.

Beautiful property, cottage was immaculate. Debbie and Mark were warm and friendly. I suggested they provide a cart to carry luggage to the cottage. Also, it would be helpful to be clear that the cottage is behind their home .

This is a very livable cottage: often VBRO properties are a little thrown together, with the extra pans that nobody likes and cheap flatware. This is the opposite. Everything was laid out thoughtfully and the furnishings are pleasant and functional. The kitchen is usable and has what you need, the bed is super comfortable (Tempurpedic - I looked because I liked the mattress so much) and the host is available without being intrusive. I would certainly stay here again.

The cottage was quite comfortable and felt like a little home away from home.The hand written note, snack treats, and bottle of wine made for a pleasant welcome. We appreciated having a comfortable bed and furniture to sleep and sit on. The cottage was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a pleasant stay in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

Very cute cottage set in a beautiful garden setting. The inside is very open for guests that may have mobility issues like me. The host Debbie is very approachable and made a point to meet us and let us know if we needed anything to contact her. The cottage is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to I-5 or the downtown Medford area.
