Lakeside restaurants and Dreher Island are easily accessible within 10-15 minutes by boat. Explore the historic town of Newberry (25 minutes away), recognized by the Travel Channel as "One of 50 of the most charming small towns in America," the only one in South Carolina on the list alongside places like Nantucket, MA, Kennebunkport, ME, and Carmel, CA

Outside Oasis: Bloomingail’s is situated on a meticulously landscaped property with a stunning 125ft lakefront along Lake Murray. Whether you prefer sunrise or sunset views over the tranquil waters, this retreat offers a mesmerizing backdrop. Days can be spent fishing, lounging, or utilizing the private dock (boat not included). The circular drive near a point ensures a safe haven for families with kids on bikes. Conclude your lakeside adventures by the fire-pit or grilling on the new gas grill.

Indoor Comfort: This haven provides all you need for a cozy stay. The fully equipped kitchen with a lake view is perfect for home-cooked meals, and the open living/dining room boasts expansive lake views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy movie nights on the 61-inch TV with Roku. Each of the four bedrooms ensures unparalleled comfort with sophisticated linens and tasteful decor. For specifics on each bedroom, refer below.

**Due to an increase in fraudulent behavior, Bloomingails will require the booking guest to provide a copy of their government issued ID/Drivers license as well as electronically sign STR contract immediately following approval of any booking request. If the booking party refuses either of these requirements AFTER the host has accepted the booking request, the booking party agrees to withdraw booking with cancellation policy followed accordingly. *Guest ID will never be used in fraudulent manner or shared. Fraud, by either party, guest or host, is frowned upon and may result in loss of member privileges

My family thoroughly enjoyed our short get away. Beautiful views, and comfortable furnishings. Enjoyed a quieter part of the lake than we are used to and the host was very responsive. I’m sure we will be back!

LOVELY WELCOMING HOME ON A QUIET BEAUTIFUL PART OF LAKE MURRAY

The home was generously stocked and was perfect for our grandchildren, our parents and us. It property manager and the owner responded immediately to questions and any need we had. We hope to come again. This was a magical trip and home. Thank you

Amazing

This was an amazing home! The home was stocked with everything you could ever need...2 coffee makers, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, potholders, trash bags...just everything. There were plenty of bath towels for all rooms. The beds were soooo comfortable! Nice decor and clean furniture. There was a large round table in the kitchen for sitting around for dinner and cards. There was a gas grill. There is a large private floating dock with plenty of room to fish. The view from the dock is so serial. Communication with the owner, Leah, was so comforting. She was so kind and patient with all my questions. The process to check in and out was easy. My overall experience was A. This house felt like a home!

Best girls week!

We had a wonderful stay! We loved the screen porch, being lazy floating on the water, and enjoying our time together. The house had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable, and Leah responded to our questions right away. We all said we would love to stay here again.

Lake Days are the Best

This home on the lake was a perfect location for a quiet, calm, and relaxing time for one of our summer trips. Our family enjoyed porch time lakeside daily and boating as well. The town of Newberry was a lovely outing too. We would love to visit this home and Lake Murray again!

Summer 2024

If you like a lake vacation this is the place to stay. Leah was quick to response to any issues that come up. The house was extremely clean, kitchen stocked very well, beds were very comfortable, and the towels were super soft. This house is situated perfectly, the view is outstanding. We a late afternoon storm and had double rainbows. Our family of seven spent all day at the dock swimming and floating in the water. We saw a lot of turtles swimming and several big fish jumping near us. No one caught them, but at least there were fish! Wonderful family time. Definitely recommend and will stay again. Thanks Leah

Lake Murry April 24

Stayed here for 7 nights with my wife and two daughters 12 & 9. The property was amazing, exactly as described but better. This charming retreat is 5 miles from the nearest convenience store. The host was extremely detailed, we had no questions. Peaceful quiet location with plenty of run ways to enjoy discovering this awesome Lake, or just swimming off the dock. I can’t say enough great things about this property. We loved it and hope to be back soon.

Family Mission

Our family was on a mission to look for an area to buy a family home . We’re moving from Ohio to South Carolina. 4 adults and 3 children ages 4, 9, & 12. The house was perfect. Communication with the owner was awesome and she responded right away. The home was very clean, kitchen and appliances all very clean. We enjoyed the lake view. It was simply beautiful and quiet. Please take the time to read the binder and the information on the life of the owner. It will give you a new level of respect and appreciation for the property.

Just as described - great home

This property was fantastic and exactly as described. Leah was fantastic throughout the entire process and very attentive to any questions, etc. Property was maintained well and well stocked for a lengthy stay. I stayed in this home for 30 days and had no major issues. Overall I would give this property an A+.

Peaceful Lake Getaway

Our family of 4 had a perfect week at this property. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful place on the water and this was 100% what we were looking for. The screened-in porch was perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning or reading during the day. My husband and boys loved fishing off the dock. The house was so spacious and absolutely homey and cozy. The host was quick to respond to any questions I had. We did rent a boat for one day and the company delivered to the property's dock which was so convenient. Definitely want to go back again!

Memorial Day Family Trip

We enjoyed this beautiful home on the lake. Although this weekend was rainy and cold, we found comfort being with family and playing games looking out to the lake. When the weather cleared, we rented a boat and jet skis and explored the lake more. The home is in a nice neighborhood we took walks, met neighbors and everyone was so nice and friendly. I would recommend this VRBO!

Lake life at it's best, our stay was excellent. Everything was clean, everything worked, and thank you Leah for the grill, it was perfect. A very peaceful setting.

What an amazing property. Very well maintained and cleaned. Perfect location. Everything was just as beautiful as described. Leah was a fantastic host and helped my elderly parents by remote unlocking the doors when they struggled with the lock box. We will be booking here again!

Hi! I'm Leah, and this charming home and property was owned and cherished by my mother, Gail (hence the name!). As I've shared with many, she had a passion for all things "blooming" and was an enthusiastic gardener. Although I've lived in various places, I consider this area my true "home." Bloomingail's represents our little piece of paradise and tranquility, and we find joy in sharing its beauty and serenity with others!

Since the 1960s, this property has been an integral part of our family with weekend camping trips to the property. The home that sits on the property now was constructed in 1999. Countless weekends and holidays have been shared here, creating enduring memories. From boating and jet-skiing to tubing and swimming, every lake activity has left its mark on this special place. Our mother took immense joy in opening up this beautiful space to anyone willing to spend time here. Recognizing her good fortune, she considered this place a true "home" and desired to extend that sense of blessing to others. In accordance with her wishes, we aim to share her "happy place" with others, confident that they will come to love it as much as we always have!
