Come and relax in this 1800 square foot home, located on Beaver Dam Lake. Wake up in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. Spend afternoons fishing from the pier, or exploring the lake by paddleboat. A screened in porch allows for peaceful nights, watching the sunset and listening to the wildlife.
Enjoy the evening under the stars as you sit by the fire pit, making smores or telling stories from the day.

This 4 bedroom and 4 bath home on 5 acres is a perfect place to spend time with family and friends. Pier is on the property and allows you to keep your boat docked during your stay.

In the winter come enjoy time on the lake ice fishing or sledding in the yard.

Golf tournament weekend

Great Place for Fishermen

We stayed a weekend here for my friends bachelor party and it had all the things we needed! Best part was being by the lake and we were able to fish. On the first day we were able to catch a decent size walleye and we ate it. The house was more than enough for the size. We only had 6 guys.

Awesome vacation

We found the vacation home, property and all the amenities I could think of being at our fingertips the best experience we have had vacationing by far. The space is amazing. The yard and lake access beautiful and spacious. Great place for the kids to run and play and for us to bring out their multiple favorite activities and toys. Ever single family member there raves about this rental. Would love to return. And the neighbors were super great. Kind, helpful and understanding when we accidentally used a couple of his trees for hammocks. Lol. So very satisfied!

The house has all necessities you could need and plenty of space for sleeping many guests. Perfect for a big family vacation!

Excellent Stay!

I traveled with a group of friends from Chicago for a relaxing weekend away from the city and this property was perfect for our group! There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and many bathrooms with clean linens and towels. The kitchen had all the essentials and overall, the property was very clean. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly while we were there but we loved the large backyard and porch for yard games and hanging out. And we loved that this property was dog friendly! Booking and arrival were super easy and the host was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely come back!

Fishing Party

We went out with 8 friends, looking for a large yard, decent fishing, and some grilling Fishing: One friend was able to get 3 northern pike on the line. Sadly they were far too aggressive and we couldn’t net them before they bit off my precious lures. One was about 36 inches long- the longest pike i have personally seen. And this was 10 feet from shore! We also caught about 6 largemouth bass in the process. There is some good fishing out here if you’re prepared for it Space: We were concerned about sleeping arrangements and the heat but luckily the weather was very agreeable. If you were to find yourself at this property during a heat wave it would have been a different story. Grill is surprisingly well kept and we had our fill of burgers and hot dogs. House layout encourages outdoor activities. Check in was simple, host was agreeable and responsive, there is a wal mart 10 minutes away… Overall this was a great location if you’re interested in fishing and being outside. I would go again

Worked for our purposes

We were in the area for my mother's memorial service which had been delayed for a year due to the pandemic. The sleeping options were a bit strange but they are accurately portrayed in the photos. As others have mentioned, Beaver Dam Lake is a fishing lake not a swimming lake so keep that in mind.

Basic Fishing Home

The home was far to small for 12 people which is the number of people the listing allows. The listing states there are 4 full bathrooms with showers yet the upper floor shower does not work, it is simply a tub. The property does not have central air, so keep that in mind when booking in the summer months. The lake provided nice fishing from the pier, but the water is not clean enough to swim in from the property shoreline. Overall this home was no the right fit for our group.

Awesome summer family vacation home!

With COVID limiting summer travel plans, my family sought a nearby lake home to visit. We found this home to be well equipped and perfect for our relaxing weekend! We played yard games(we brought washer toss); threw a football around; and played baseball. It was a sweltering weekend so we used the paddle boats both days. (It’s harder than it looks!) we really enjoyed the huge fire pit! With rain one evening the screened porch was a blessing! Our morning coffee (and mimosas!) were on the porch too :) Our entire stay was perfect! We look forward to returning!

This property was wonderful. It was more than big enough to accommodate our group - lots of bedding, a nice screened-in porch, and a huge backyard with lake access. Would highly recommend!

Great short getaway!

This home is much more than what is shown in the listing. We felt very safe as it was perfectly cleaned two days before out arrival. Our grandkids enjoyed the paddle boats and catching bullheads off the pier. It was a short, but welcome retreat during these rough times. Thank you Mark! #protectotherswearamask

Relaxing Lake Front Retreat

This property is exactly as pictured, with plenty of room for people to sleep and to hang out together or even separate if they wish. The owners are available and easy to talk to! And the neighborhood is super relaxing and quiet!

Guys weekend 2011

My friends, my dad, and I enjoyed an amazing weekend at this cabin in celebration of my dad's birthday. We had a relatively large group and this cabin provided us the ability to sleep everyone in a bed and enjoy the great outdoors. The cabin itself has nice common areas and a wonderful screened in porch which we utilized to enjoy the meals we cooked at the house. The huge yard in both back and front was wonderful and came in handy for a game of football, and catch. Additionally, the firepit directly off the lake provided a great spot to enjoy the evenings. I would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away from the city for a nice weekend with a group of friends. It is only 3 hours away from Chicago, and about 4 coming from St. Paul. It can accommodate a large group and has great space to enjoy the outdoors during your stay. The rental process was straight forward and the family who owns the cabin is very easy to work with. We had a wonderful time.

Relax at the lake

My husband and I spent a quiet, relaxing get-away on the lake. The facility was clean and easily accessible. We spent time walking across the frozen lake and enjoyed hot cocoa when we returned as we enjoyed the setting sun. The morning sunrise was equally spectacular. We could have invited the kids and grandkids because the home is quite spacious, but we enjoyed our quiet escape. We're hoping to return in the fall. Maybe we'll throw a line in and try our hand at fishing!

Beautiful

Gorgeous! I needed a break from it all and this was it! A quick jaunt from Milwaukee and I was there! Awesome porch and deck that looks out over the lake. Quiet neighbors. Plenty of room to bring the family and then some! No fighting over bathrooms in this house. A year round house, not just summer, so has everything you need! Would recommend in a minute!

Great place to relax

We loved staying here! The screened porch was perfect for having meals and playing board games, while enjoying the view. The place was very clean and spacious. Our kid really liked the huge backyard and the water. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation :).
