Enjoy the awesome spring nights here in Kona. World famous Sunsets. This upgraded condo in Kona Riviera which is an older but well cared for, oceanfront 14 unit condo building on the ocean and on Alii Dr. This small non-smoking complex caters to those who would like to enjoy serenity, a sparkling clean pool to swim in, beach side BBQ’s (gas bbq at the pool for you to use), awesome sunsets and yet close to the heart of the Kona vacation experience. It is a short 2.5 mile walk or drive south of the downtown part of Kailua-Kona. We have a lovely ocean view and are blocked from the road noise. All you hear is waves on the lanai. Fully stocked and ready for fun. This one bedroom is a very deluxe unit and has all the things for cooking, fun in the sea and relaxing on the simi-private lanai overlooking the pool and ocean. This is not some unit set back with a peek a boo view, check out the photos. Kona Riviera is a very quiet building and - I say it again- only 2.5 miles from town.
The bedroom has a comfy King sized bed and a private vanity. The travertine floor throughout makes the living space is open and tropical. The lanai is the best spot for an evening drink or early breakfast. Super fast WiFi via wireless just for this unit. Local phone calls from the unit. Updated bathroom with travertine walk in shower, travertine floor and granite vanity. Updated bedroom suite with all new linens. Entire new living room floor, TV, and lanai doors & windows. Showplace Granite kitchen! Newer appliances, new cookware. This unit has the works for vacation and the guest closet is stocked with things you are welcome to use at the beach.
From the floors, bed and kitchen it all tropical and open. Everything you need for fun is inside this unit. We still have openings in 2o21. Perfect for a honeymoon! Or a summer escape. We will offer a discount on stays over one week or higher discount for one month stays. Our condo overlooks the ocean and does have a roof from the lower building in part of the view. Please use the photos to understand what the unit and view looks like. The roof becomes almost invisible in afternoon light and the view is really special even with the roof from the building below. This is a second story unit in the middle building. There is an oceanfront building that is lower than us. Ocean view photos other than the one from the pool deck were all taken from our lanai.
There is a king size bed in the bedroom and a separate vanity with sink, bedroom free standing A/C (that most people report that they don't use but if you want to sleep cold it keeps it cold in the bedroom). In the living room there is a queen sofa sleeper couch. No AC in LR but open the lanai glass door and the ocean cools it right down.
Conveniently located 20 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from the town center on the well-known Ali Drive (multiple triathalons go past including the world championship Ironman).
For the ultimate in relaxation: Right on your own lanai, from sunrise to sunset, the views and sounds of the crashing surf are unforgettable. Have your morning (Kona) coffee watching outrigger canoe paddling teams, humpback whales breaching (winter), and spinner dolphins frolicking in the surf (year round). Numerous shops, restaurants, and cinemas for you to explore. Check in is done using secure combination codes for both the main condo and our unit doors. You receive these codes well in advance so you can check in anytime after 4 pm. Check out is by 10 am. We often have back to back guests so this is important unless you have booked a late check out (paying for the extra day). No smoking in the unit or complex. There is a smokers table in the parking lot by the street. This is enforced for the comfort of all KRV guests. This is an upstairs unit. No one above you but you do need to walk up one flight of stairs. The building has no elevator. It is not a child safe unit for a toddler as the lanai opens right off the living room and there is a staircase around the corner that a small child can easily reach. We do have a fantastic resident manager lives in the unit below us. Washer and dryer are coin op and down stairs. Laundry line for sun fresh drying is available for all to use
