Very unique exterior mirrored A Frame- this modern completely remodeled A frame is located on 4 wooded acres with room to roam. Full kitchen, gas fireplace, AC and full bathroom. Look at the stars through the skylights while falling asleep in the loft. Listen to the birds, hunt mushrooms, grill on the back deck. There's a firepit out back with lots of free firewood for long conversations and good beverages while the whistle of a far off train rolls by. Close to State parks, lakes, and trails.

Immerse yourself in nature on this completely remodeled modern A Frame. From the moment you arrive, you know this is a one of a kind property. Located on a private gravel dead end road, this is a place to relax and enjoy.

The A Frame is small- 4 people max, and that's using the pull out couch. Stairs are not for the faint of heart. Loft is open to below. Up to two dogs are allowed for a total one time charge of $50 for the length of your stay.

Great one night get away

Amazing and romantic stay with my girlfriend that lives way up north. Perfect half way point for us to meet between the twin cities and Grand Rapids. We had such a blast and grilled some delicious meals. The bonfire and sights were great! Would definitely stay again!

Unique Get-a-way

Have never booked a private property stay before so wasn't sure what to expect. However, this was beyond any of our thoughts. Cozy & truly an up north feeling close to cities. Outdoor bugs, yes, but we are in MN @ beginning of summer. That's why MN sells all types of yard guard &/or insect repellents. Kitchen was well equipped & there was ample outdoor seating. Skylights in loft provided a wonderful skyline view. Surprised by great variety of reading materials & vinyl albums. We will return!

Weekend Trip

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! There are so many things to do and places to go within a short drive of the cabin. Our dog stayed as well, she loved exploring the area and enjoyed relaxing in the cabin with us! Would definitely stay again!!

Nice little place

This is a very nice place very clean inside and nice outside. Everything is up to date. The only thing i didnt like is there is no curtains and it is really open. There are many things that u can do around the area

Girls weekend

Me and my best friend were looking for a cool experience and a fun weekend getaway. We had a ton of fun at this location and spending time outside! Our literal only complaint was the shower was hard to get to a consistent temperature, but even that wasn’t a big deal.

Unique stay.

Clean, cozy, unique, nicely decorated and equipped. 2 bedrooms is misleading though. Traveling with 75 year old parents. Was expecting 2 private bedrooms. Pics don't really show that the loft is open and the 2nd bed is a pullout couch. Parents couldn't go up the ladder to the comfortable bed so had to sleep on the uncomfortable pullout. Would be great for a younger couple or family though. No coverings on Windows which was fine until a truck passed by several times with its brights on in the middle of the night. Shouldn't the cleaning fee include washing of the bedding and taking out the trash? Don't get me wrong. It was a nice place and pleasant stay but could use a few improvements and better desciption or view of the sleeping accomodations.

Overnight Cabin Getaway

I found this property listing while specifically looking for a little cabin to stay in for a night for my partner and I. After looking over the map of Brook Park, and noticing it didn’t seem to have too much to offer for activity or particular excitement, we spent the afternoon hiking in Taylor Falls and walking The Franconia Sculpture Park in Chisago (about an hour away). We got to the small, quiet town of Brook Park a little after 4 and headed to the property. The cabin was off a couple narrow, gravel roads. Though there were other houses along the roads, the cabin stood alone on its own little wooded lot. It was true to the pictures, had a small front and back patio, a couple wooden chairs, grill, and a couple benches around the ringed fire pit (a box of duraflame logs were provided). We drove the short distance to Hinckley to the little grocery store for firewood and a couple grocery items. A few pots and pans were provided. As well as mugs, wine/drink glasses, cooking utensils and silverware. There was a Keurig machine and nice variety of K-cups. It was pleasant to cook in the kitchen, the area was tidy and didn’t feel cramped— stove and oven worked great. The TV was a smartTV with various apps. We didn’t use the walk in shower but it looked looked nice and a decent size; the bathroom was modern and had a washer, dryer, a few soaps of different varieties provided. The loft had two skylight windows as well as a larger one at the head of the bed. The bed in the loft was comfortable and it made for pleasant sleeping, with the windows open and listening to the sounds of the woods. We hardly heard the neighbors at all from the surrounding lots, it was a quiet area but didn’t feel desolate. Again, Brook Park itself is a small little town so if you were looking for activities or a wanted a way to keep busy out of the cabin, I’d suggest checking the surrounding areas before retiring to the cabin. The only reason it didn’t get full stars across all the boards was that it wasn’t fully complete in construction and noticeable in particular spots, with excess building materials being stowed and stacked near the sheds, left in the fire pit, and a couple miscellaneous trash items in the wood piles. Not a major eyesore nor an inconvenience, but noticeable that the property wasn’t entirely finished. Overall, the cabin itself was lovely and cozy; “a great find” my partner and I agreed.

Fell in love with this Aframe surrounded by woods. It's a beautiful spot with plenty of wildlife, and you can hear a train whistle in the distance every once in a while.
